    Things I liked:

the steel breech fit tighter than factory ,& gives it a better look

    Things I would have changed:

I had to drill a hole for my 2289g backpacker , would like to see hole factory machined for all guns for easier installation .

    Things I liked:

I actually liked the brass bolt on the original gun. But once I got used to this one it is no different. I would recommend every person who is going to have the gun upgrade right from the start. This part should really be part of the original gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Add some sort of rear sight. Even if it is a fixed integral groove or something at least it gives the shooter some sort of option to get shooting other than making further purchases. When you get this in the mail and realize that you don't have a scope ring in your house you are pretty much sitting with a new toy and no way to use it.

    What others should know:

No sight comes with this. I know they say it in the description but it is important enough to say over and over.

    Things I liked:

Easy to install using youtube vids. Good quality and adds stability.

    Things I would have changed:

Paper directions were unreadable. Copy of a copy of a copy etc.

    Things I liked:

It's steel, I can get rid of that bad OE sight.

    Things I would have changed:

Better instructions. If you don't understand the concept you'll have a hard time with the instructions. Although it only took a couple of minutes to do.

    What others should know:

I think it helps with the overall balance of the pistol as well.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Robust solid construction, longer than original plastic breech, built in rail, creates the opportunity to run many more rear open sights, holds the barrel more steadily, actually has a barrel set screw, parts look and feel like high quality.

    Things I would have changed:

The plug that goes in after the bolt is not made to fit tight inside the breech. Even when the rear screw is in and torqued the plug still easily moves. I very much wish there was an option to choose between this blued finish and a polished finish, the finish on my bolt (which isn't the same blued finish that the rest of the breech is) is already wearing away after 150 shots.

    What others should know:

My kit only came with one out of the two Allen Keys pictured.

    Things I liked:

quality, easy installation, adds the ability for scope or other types of sights. I like the way its a little heavier in the hand.

    Things I would have changed:

better instructions that could be read, I'd like to see one in a left handed version for right handed people.

    What others should know:

this is one mod that is a welcomed sight, better than the plastic that comes on the gun, better scope mounting also. When screwing the bolt handle in use a little blue Loctite.

    Things I liked:

Great construction and it allows you to install a scope or other accessories. Includes all tools needed to install.

    Things I would have changed:

Should make it so you can still use the stock rear sight. Have options for extended bolt probe and handles. Better instructions.

    What others should know:

Makes the 2240 a little heavier. Easy to install and a must have upgrade and should be first thing you do.

    Things I liked:

A must for using a scope. The set screw secures the barrel.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Not only necessary for mounting a scope, it has a set screw to secure the barrel which the stock plastic breech does not have.

    Things I liked:

This was an easy upgrade to install for me, but might not be for some beginners.

    Things I would have changed:

The instruction sheet was terrible. It is tiny and very sloppily reproduced so that the print is smeared and blurry.

    Things I liked:

Fits Perfectly and Functions properly without fitting.

    Things I would have changed:

Leave off dovetail cut for sight.

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

Solid replacement for the plastic receiver, allows the mounting of a good rear sight or optic. Comes with all the tools you need for installing.

    Things I would have changed:

Lots of sharp edges at chamber, easily polished off, but should come deburred.

    What others should know:

    Adds considerable weight to 2240.

works great. with a scope mounted at 50 feet can do a dime size group every time. worth the money. Thanks.

    Things I liked:

longer breech & scopeable. item is well made.

    Things I would have changed:

    instructions

    What others should know:

instructions are about useless. print is so small, you cant read it. luckily the conversion is pretty easy so you don't have to rely on instructions.

    Things I liked:

Metal upgrade. Better quality sights or optics can be used.

    Things I would have changed:

    Chrome bolt.

    What others should know:

Instruction images require a magnifying glass. A few steps could be added for ease of install.

    Things I liked:

Good product. Easy to install on the gun. It allows for installing different types of sights and scopes on my Crosman 1322 and 2289. It is sturdy and well made and adds some weight to the guns.

    Things I would have changed:

Crosman should offer this breech kit as standard equipment on all their guns that use it and charge accordingly for the gun. However, I understand the need to provide consumers with a good product at a reasonable price and therefore their reason for not making it standard equipment.

    What others should know:

I haven't fired my guns through a chronograph yet, but it seems like my guns have more power since I installed the steel breech kit.

  • Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Provides a nice sturdy mount for your scope or site. There is an extra set screw for the barrel that screws in last and sets the barrel and anchors it to the receiver.

    Things I would have changed:

The instructions don't say much about the set screw for the barrel so look at the top of the receiver and place it in the hole provided, last..

    What others should know:

The stock bolt and the bolt that comes with this receiver are a little short. The probe that seats the pellet in the barrel seats it a bit short and the pellet skirt is over the air port which deforms when the pellet is shot. You need to push the pellet a bit more into the breach or get an extended bolt.

    Things I liked:

Great upgrade for Crosman air guns. Stiffens barrel to receiver, and makes mounting a optical sight more efficiently.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Great addition to the Crosman 1322c pistol. Makes for a solid scope mount. Way more solid than the Crosman 459 barrel mounts.

    Things I would have changed:

Instructions left a lot to be desired. Pretty cryptic. Search YouTube for a instructional video by dragon 64.

    What others should know:

The new 5/64" breech/barrel grub screw had a hard blue plastic on the bottom threads, I'm assuming it was suppose to be thread lock. The problem was the coating was so thick and hard I could not get the screw to even begin to thread. Soaked the screw in paint stripper to remove the "blue stuff", then it threaded OK. Not sure if mine was an odd one or if this is the case with all the new grub screws.

    Things I liked:

    makes the barrel more secure.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing.

    What others should know:

it is easy to do this modification.

  • Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

    well constructed, complete

    Things I would have changed:

The instructions were for a CO2 gun, mine is pump-up close enough

    What others should know:

I had a loading problem - pellets catching on the screw hole and head in the breech - with a scope - may not be an issue w/sights
