It works well .I did not change any factory settings (like sensitivity ect.). I do add profiles for every gun and pellet weight.

Make a manual and put it with unit. You could also have a printable PDF manual on line. Lower price would be nice. Add a charging port so it could be used with external power.

Price... Does not work all the time and will not stay connected why to expensive for what it is.

I bought one and returned it in a day. Worked 20% of the time. They have a long way to go to make this a great chrony.

This chrono is so easy to set up and use. I'm not as tech savvy as the younger generation but I was shooting with it inside ten minutes; watching a YouTube video helped but honestly, it's so easy to use. I especially like being able to focus on the shooting and get an audio report of pellet velocity.

I don't have enough experience with it to suggest any changes but there were two shots out of maybe 100 where I didn't get a reading; haven't followed up to learn why that might be.

I used this in my basement where my friend's chrono doesn't like the lighting and there was nary a problem.

Very convenient love the audio announcements of speed is great.

Fix the finicky shot missing issue. You cant Shoot a string without it missing at least a couple sometimes more. It may get returned Ive tried numerous suggestions of how to alleviate the issues.

Don't Expect it to work every shot.

Its all made out of plastic?! No rubber bands included? I would either change the design for it to clamp onto the muzzle if possible

Simple to use a little pricier than other chronos on the market.

When it works it is an essential tool for tuning my Impact M3 It is light, compact, easy to set up and use

I can count on getting a few readings but after that the unit stops working and needs to be reset.

I was using it with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, software Version 14.7.1 but the unit's performance was inconsistent so I tried using it with an iPhone Xs Max, Software Version 14.2, set to Airplane Mode in the hope of getting better results with the older software and no "distractions" form internet or cell phone. There was no difference in performance that I could see. I'm hopeful that FX will update the unit's firmware or some such thing that will allow me to enjoy the full benefits of this otherwise very nice chronograph

I really liked the portability. I liked it when it worked. I like the way it attached to the barrel, eventhough it was with Rubber Bands, it allowed it to attach to any barrel there is.

Reliability in reading Pellets. I used a Gamo Break Barrel, and got about a 30 percent reading when I used it. The other 60 percent I got no reading at all. I tried a pumpup and got about the same thing. I didn't bother with my PCP's. . , I was finished. I did about 50 shots through it

I would NOT buy this product. Very poor in readings. The readings I got were fairly consistent WHEN I got a reading. The device would shut itself off about 1/3 the time when I closed the barrel of my break barrels, even when I was trying my best to close the barrel easily when I figured out that closing the barrel would trigger it to shut off. I think the idea is there, but it is lacking still. If I were to "Guess", this would be great for PCP guns, but for any other gun out there that has any kind of recoil, you are spitting in the wind. I tried it on a Gamo Whisper and it failed most of the time. I tried a Daisy 901, and it failed about 1/2 the time. I did not bother with my PCP's. If it can't work for all my guns, it is not worth the money. Unfortunately, I am returning this product. That does not mean I do not like the product. It means that the product is not functioning as well as it should.

Very convenient to use compared to other chronographs since it uses radar instead of shadows which are often hard to control without a light kit.

Increase the fps range to include higher velocities so it can be used with powder burners also. Also, hopefully the iPhone/Android app will undergo improvements to include fps and fpe in the same report. I'm sure other suggestions will be made for improvements also (similar to the ProChrono Digital Link app). Name each shot string after the rifle, pellet and pellet weight used for that shot string

Do not put your backdrop/target too close to the muzzle otherwise no reading will be taken. I was shooting into a box filled with crushed red rubber mulch just to get fps readings. I had it about 30" from the muzzle and it would not produce readings. Must be further away, like about 4 feet.

I have had this chronograph for a 1 ½ year’s worked great & easier and more convenient to use than the big awkward ones

Needs a different type of battery maybe ones that cameras use or a built in rechargeable!

I am buying another one because of a 2 month old battery leaked my advice do not leave batteries in this or at least use lithium they are less likely to leak!

Easy set up connected to my phone right away. Gives good consistent information so far on each shot with no drops. Easy hook up on my rifle about 3 inches from end of barrel.

Small screw on battery door, supply rechargeable batteries or a usb hook up. Also add a tripod connector to have two choices on hook up. It is a bit over priced.

Great size, easy to attach and set up, app is not difficult to figure out. Calculates average FPS, Standard deviation, and extreme spread as you shoot. Price is very reasonable for the convenience and performance you get.

Other reviews comment on poor battery life but I haven't used it long enough to see for myself. If true it would be the only negative found so far.

Will occasionally miss seeing a shot so position and settings are important. Manuals and guides available on line.

Simple Setup, great phone app

Add twist ties or barrel clamp

It works very well, way better than a chronograph. Rubber bands work to hold it on your barrel but I like the new twist ties used for cable management.

Set up with phone after down loading the FX App, went smooth and linking together was quick.

After power on the FX chrono an on phone you select Connect the Save Rifle/Pellet menu should come up fist.

It works and quicker to set up and buy a small bag of rubber bands.

The most consistent feature is its Inconsistency, it just does not work all the time

Read above 1100 FPS, make function from 200 FPS to 4000 fos without having to change settings. Make it work when it should.

Mine will not work most of the time, when it does work, after a while it just quits recording. Send it back to PA, if it does not record, I wish I had sent mine back.

Works great. No more shooting through a porthole.

It is very handy, so you can carry it any where. Also, is very accurate. One thing that I can not pass, is the fact that you can hear the results that you are looking for. Not need to lose your target while shooting.

The plate for use with the tripod should be included. That way if you are in a group of air guns shooters, there is no need to be mounted in each air rifle.

A more solid base, rather than a barrel mount, so it sets on the bench instead of on the gun barrel

It appears to use up the batteries very quickly. Make sure you carry a few with you to the range.

The FX Pocket Chronograph worked exactly the way I expected it to. I have watched plenty of YouTube videos on it, and it met my expectations. I am pleased with how easy it is to use and its small size.

I think it would be nice if it could be used to track higher speeds than it does and if it could be mounted on a tripod.

I think its a good value for the money. It uses AA batteries so nothing exotic or expensive there, I use rechargeable batteries.
