Compactness and easy to setup.

Improve software which I'm sure they will if this product becomes more popular. Supply a mounting bracket to allow it to be connected to the barrel or air tube because it is light enough.

I have not done a comparison with my other chronographs.

Easy to use, fast connection with my phone and the fact that it read the velocities so that i don't need to look at it.

The possibility to directly send the entire list data (not just the velocities) to a computer by sharing it true wireless. (no copy/paste in another apps)

With FX producs, no surprises, always very happy with all Fx products that i own!

It was small, light weight and only one button.

FX Should have done more quality control on the programming and sent along instructions on how to operate it. I would suggest putting a list of the phones it will work with on the sight . I have an android and an I phone and neither works. I never got to use it so I don't know what else I would change.

I would strongly suggest that they not buy this product unless you have the phone that Matt Dubber uses. I had to return my 1st. unit and Pyramid Air was very speedy with that. Then the 2nd. unit wouldn't work and still Pyramid Air was right on top of it. I thank them for being such a good customer service business.

strap or method of hanging from dove tail, or adapter rail... Modify app so we can pick auto shut off time period.

If it came with a cheap little tripod it would be perfect

It is nice to have an accurate simple alternative to the old style chrono. Batteries last a good while only one issue with the app if you open a text or leave the fr radar app you lose your shot string so be aware I lost a 2 magazine shot string was a little annoying. Best way I found was if you tap on list the take a screenshot you can then transfer it to a spreadsheet if you wish.

I love the small size of the unit, so handy.

I would not change anything, but I am looking forward to some software upgrades so the unit will do more with my iPhone.

I purchased a short tripod form wish.com it was only a little over $2 with shipping. It also works great with the FX Pocket Chronograph.

headed it running in under a minute very easy to use and set up. no wires or plugs or other things to mess with just turn it on and use the app on your phone and you're set

I love how small and how it works. They are awesome but issues for modified big bore. They only show to 1099fps. I am disappointed in that. I had a few shots that it did not register them shots while tuning seemed the strongest. I wish I saved my money and bought one for a regular firearm.

I would make it to go near 2000 FPS. I am highly disappointed. It says high power big bore but only 1,099 FPS? Come on i thought FX would be better than that.

Do not waste your money. Only 1099 FPS is all it goes too!

Super small, lightweight. The threaded mount on the bottom is perfect for a small bendy mount. No lights needed. Recorded consistent velocities with various angles over the unit. I really liked the fact that this unit sets just under the gun, you don't need to have it on a tripod 3 feet from your shooting table.

Include batteries! Also, the profile selection in the software is a bit janky. A bit more thought into the UI of the software would make it a LOT easier to use and tune.

In limited testing, this chrony was much easier to use than my old F1. No lights, cords, or other fiddly bits. Set it on the table and shoot.

Quick & Simple set up. Easy to use. I have been waiting for a unit like this for 50 years of shooting, no worry about lighting, alignment of screens, NO having to go past firing line. GREAT PRICE!!!

Software needs more features like: High- low, extreme spread, average velocities, standard deviations, Foot pounds energy ( for us FT guys).

Great for a quick check of your Foot pounds before FT matches.

Small compact, works as stated, Connects to phone with no issues. App is ok.

A better manual, the app has only YouTube videos as the manual and doesn't explain everything, like scope height units. It would be nice if the app also showed more info, like: High- low, and average velocities and standard deviations without having to set up a spreadsheet.

Consistencty- I used it several times and placement of the item with location to your barrel is critical. I moved it an inch or two and it changes fps by 20. Did not agree with my Lab Radar

I would save my money and get a reliable chronograph. The software is very rudimentary.

Received my FX Chrony from Pyramid Air this morning. Put it through its paces on two guns, FX Crown 0.22 and a modified Anschutz 0.177. This small box and a smartphone performed at an amazing level. Doppler radar based, easy set up, no fussing and fighting with light limitations, rods and screens unnecessary, straight up place below the barrel fire away and you get clean readouts. No dropped shots, no worrying if its too bright or dull outside. Just did the job. A little on the expensive side, $199 but it worked with 3 AAA batteries straight out of the box. No calibration drill just read the FPS after each shot. If there is any limitation, its that the software needs tweaking for Min, Max, Average and STD Dev, nothing you cant calculate with an excel spreadsheet and a little patience. To be frank, lab radar is now VERY overpriced, the other Chronys can be touch and go. I believe FX may have cracked open another market, first FX Impact then the Crown now the Chrony.

If there is any limitation, its that the software needs tweaking for Min, Max, Average and STD Dev, nothing you can't calculate with an excel spreadsheet and a little patience.
