    Things I liked:

Very simple setup. A really great tool for tuning. I already had one of the older style Chronies but it took a lot of work to get it going.

    Things I would have changed:

A basic quick start guide in the box would have been nice. Once I figured it out, it was easy.

    What others should know:

If you are looking for a simple but reliable chronograph...This is it. You have a wealth of information and features at your disposal.

    Things I liked:

    Its size and weight.

    Things I would have changed:

    Price?

    What others should know:

I have problems with my break barrels registering every shot. Even on the pcp's it would miss one here and there. Watched a bunch of videos still trying to find perfection. Definitely helped tune My Benjamin Marauder. So impressed with this unregulated rifle. I've been using super small fat rubber bands. Works pretty well. Messes with Marauder barrels cause they float in the barrel band.... SO DUMB. it should secure the barrel as to not affect the accuracy while doing testing-tuning. BUY THIS THING. If you are going back and forth just go for it. I only own 3-4 rifles and it's super fun to see how different pellets perform on a digital level not just how many cans they can shoot through. Was essential to get the most out of my Marauder. Was quite fun and easy to do. Happy tuning

    Things I liked:

Light weight and very easy to use. The barrel mount worked perfectly when I lined it with a piece of rubber cut from an old inner tube. Before that, I think that the double recoil shock of my Diana 350 Magnum .22 created 1 out 3 no-values; after putting the rubber in, 100% reliability. The software program is very good on the whole.

    Things I would have changed:

Better instructions or simply better software for the proper sequence on how to name and save shot strings; then start a new string with a different projectile and/or gun. I also couldn't figure out how to print the results or better yet move them via the Bluetooth connection to my computer or phone.

    What others should know:

I didn't try replacing the barrel mount with the foot stand so cannot report on how easy or difficult it is to stay aligned for consistent radar readings.

    Things I liked:

Ease of use, accuracy, good but not great software.

    Things I would have changed:

Change battery cover to eliminate screw. Update software with print function. Have not been able to save shot data for printing or transfer to removable memory or spread sheet. Might be do to my lack of knowledge.

    What others should know:

Target background may interfere with reading. Failed to detect pellet when target was against solid background, large tree trunk at 20 yds.

    Things I liked:

Easy to carry with your gear. Compact. Precise. Very easy to use. Fast Bluetooth connection. Great features in the accompanying phone software. Very well designed overall.

    Things I would have changed:

Box is a little light. Can be a bit hard to position precisely without moving, or knocking it over to ensure constant readings, if not using a tripod. Has a bit of a learning curve till you find the sweet spot on the barrel to ensure constant readings. For the price, it could include a small tripod.

    What others should know:

Definitely worth it! Fits in your pocket so takes away any hassle that comes with carrying a full size chronograph with you. More reliable than your average priced chronograph. Did I mention compact?! Highly recommended.

    Things I liked:

I like the fact that I am able to get velocity reading from my CO2 and Air guns.

    Things I would have changed:

The unit is difficult to get adjusted so it gets a reading when the pellet or BB is fired. I have had to keep moving the unit front to back and side to side in order for it to get a reading. Since I use this unit in the basement I think the unit would be much more usable if it had a USB port in it and the software was downloadable and compatible with a Windows or Mac computer or tablet. My cell phone has a limited run time so I am limited on the amount of time I can use the unit. Also once you have the string of data for your particular gun there is no way to off load it for saving or printing. I also have an Ohler 35P and like the fact that when I shoot I get a print out of the string and a final summary on that print out. With this unit all you have is a string of data on your cell phone taking up data space.

    What others should know:

It's a good idea but I feel that FX has rushed this unit to market and did not fully think out how the end user might use it. Again having a UBS output port on it would be very useful and having a software that is compatible with a computer would make a lot of sense. I personally would not buy the unit again at least until it has been refined and other features have been added.

    Things I liked:

It is small but accurate. Love the compact size!!! Extremely easy to use. Love the under barrel mount with Rubber Bands. Even with a high power rifle, it picks up 99 out of 100 shots.

    Things I would have changed:

Instructions in the box, like most things from FX are basically non-existent, and appear to have images of the original older version from beta. Net, you need to use the web site and have internet connection and understand it from there before you head out into the woods w/no internet/cell signals... Both of the major airgun online stores have good videos.

    What others should know:

Very consistent. Using on my FX Impact MkII, really helped me tune!!! Pairing this app with the Strelok Pro app would be a great enhancement. I have not utilized any of the "connected" apps or uploading of shot strings, yet. Interested to see if that is useful.

    Things I liked:

Simple to set up and run. Works great even at night.

    Things I would have changed:

Some way to print would be nice And if it came with a carry pouch.

    What others should know:

Just set it up and go use it can’t get much simpler and smaller.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Almost everything about this little unit is exactly what most folks need. I shoot competitive bench rest so tuning my guns is an on going process that requires a reliable and accurate chronograph. While I understand that the earliest units had a few software issues, there have been a couple of updates and I must say that I've had no issues whatsoever. I have a four year old LG V20 phone and it works brilliantly for me. One thing to know is that if the batteries you install to power the unit are low (even one of them/it take 3 AAAs) the unit will not connect. So, if you're having a connection issue, start your troubleshooting there and put in brand new batteries.

    Things I would have changed:

Like all software driven things there are functions I would like to see. 1) mark and delete individual stings. (no way to do so at present) 2) give individual names to each string. 3) edit an individual string (delete individual shots and have the string reflect that deletion) 4) external power adapter port in case you want to plug it in and save batteries while indoors. 5) provide file locations to allow data to be transferred via direct connection to a PC

    What others should know:

Let me say that I didn't purchase my unit from PA because they were out of stock. However, I'm a very avid customer at PA and purchase a lot of stuff through them and write a lot of reviews and attempt to update them as frequently as I believe is warranted.

Nice little Chrony, compact & easy to use. Works great with my Samsung

    Things I would have changed:

a vinyl storage case would be a nice addition

    What others should know:

Make sure you have your "location" turned on, on your cell phone so it can connect to it. You may have to "tweak" its location toward the front of the barrel, I keep mine back about 1" to 1-1/2" from the muzzle, make sure its hanging vertically centered under your barrel, and not off to one side. There are videos on YouTube if you're scratching your head how to attach the barrel clamp. The "Audio" is a nice touch if you're working alone

This Radar Chronograph performs as advertised. Software app somewhat difficult to understand and should have a print button included.

    Things I would have changed:

Add printing feature on software app and and ability to have all information available when placed on clipboard.

    What others should know:

Works but cumbersome when using with break barrel guns and not sure how to use place on barrel when using an under lever gun.

    Things I liked:

I bought an aftermarket "hanger", to which you simply screw the chrony to and hang from barrel with rubber bands. It provides pretty much instant. effortless enabling of velocities -- and, their software provides all sorts of perks, including standard deviation, average, etc. I find it almost unbelievable that such a GREAT product can be had at the unbelievable price of less than two hundred dollars!

    Things I would have changed:

Their provided software is stellar on my (7, and 7plus) iPhones. However, the shot strings get pasted to 'phone's clipboard, and while are saved, and may be messaged, a simple app to enable the strings to be emailed would be more than nice. (Might be my ineptness, but I find this to be a challenge)

    What others should know:

My 1st one did NOT work. Upon my return to Pyramid they posted me a 2nd. HOWEVER the 1/4"-20 bottom nut for a tripod was so boogered I had to get/use a tap to clear the threads and enable its use. 2ndly, the label on top rear came off with protective plastic. (So much for "external" product quality, eh?) A 2nd "however" is that the replacement unit functions quite well; I also have an Oehler 35p and a PACT chrony -- this unit works every bit as well as either of these, at both a fraction of the cost of each and -- to me, most important -- affording almost non-existent set-up time. Turn in the switch, click the "connect" button on cellular telephone, hang unit from airgun's barrel -- and -- you're ready to record velocities as well as statistical data on each string! Awesome!

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

I like the readouts and the voice call out. Also the ability to add upgrades to the app which is free. I checked it against an Air Chrony and Pro Chrony. It was matching the Air Chrony readouts. The Pro Chrony was off a few FPS.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like it to include a paper manual for operation. Using the app is ok but it is not easy to get some pertinent info on operation. Eliminate the annoying fact that every time you move through the pages, you need to reconnect to the chroy each time. Having a 3D bracket for it to position the chroy under the barrel, for the reason below.

    What others should know:

The device is finiky! It needs to be at a certain height and distance from the barrel for each gun you shoot. I t also needs to be perfectly centered over the barrel or it will not detect the shot..... I ended up welding up an adjustable vise to hold the rifles and pistols in perfect position for each gun. I saw a 3D printed mount from a fellow in the UK. It may be a solution? Any time you move through the app's pages, you have to reconnect to the chrony. It is very annoying.

    Verified Purchase

    Things I liked:

Compact design. Functions indoors and in other low light conditions. You can set up individualized profiles for each gun and each pellet type. For example: "2300KT 5.5 gr wadcutter", 2300KT 5.25 gr wadcutter", "2300KT 6.79 gr domed", "Vigilante 5.5 gr wadcutter", etc. It runs fine on my iPod touch with iOS13. I mounted mine on a mini-tripod for a webcam, and that works fine.

    Things I would have changed:

There are many: 1) It is way too finicky. Placement at the start of a session may not work (need adjustment) as the session progresses: strings miss shots. 2) It eats AAA batteries fast so the screw down battery cover becomes annoying and will wear out. I leave it off and the batteries stay put fine. 3) Rechargeable batteries start at 50% longevity, so I have been rotating 3 sets of rechargeable AAAs (see items 2 and 4). 4) It starts missing shots at 40% battery life, and it won't work at all at 25% (see items 2 and 3). 5) It needs a port for an external battery pack (see 2, 3, 4). 6) Inadequate sensitivity. At 30% sensitivity, and after careful placement, it misses a lot of shots meaning the strings are not contiguous. Set it at 10% for consistency (See item 1). 7) The app needs a PC/Mac interface. Setting up profiles is a PITA and would be so much easier with a full keyboard, mouse and screen. Plus moving data is a joke.

    What others should know:

This is NOT a high end bench top analytic tool. It is certainly useful for relative velocity patterns. Tyler of PA compares its accuracy to a light based chrono in his video, so I can believe it is accurate for individual shots ... when it doesn't miss them. For example, if you are plotting the power curve of a CO2 gun, and you miss 25% of the shots, those strings would need to be interpreted or averaged at best - not really accurate. In defense of this device, I did successfully plot the low power versus high power curves for my 2240 carbine with a power adjuster mod on an indoor range - in one tight package. That was really not possible without a chronograph. A light based chrono could do it if you invest in the light kit upgrade.

    Things I liked:

Compact size, runs off AAAs (even rechargeable), via the app updates and functions are near endless, not lighting dependent.

    Things I would have changed:

Wish I could use it with powder burners! A padded field case would be nice.
