    Things I liked:

The size, that it doesn't rely on light to operate.

    Things I would have changed:

Add rubber bumpers where it attaches to the barrel. Add modes to measure higher velocity for use it with firearms.

    What others should know:

This is so much better than the Shooting Chrony. I've had one of those for years, and it was always a pain to setup; it seemed to just barely work most of the time, and I have shot it more times that I would care to admit. The FX radar chronograph is really great. It just works. It records the data for you, which makes it easy to analyze later. I think it's a bit expensive, but it was just below my pain threshold, so I guess FX did their marketing homework.

    Things I liked:

Easy to use, quick set up, results are easy to see on my cell phone.

    Things I would have changed:

I can't think of any issues with it at this point. It works as advertised.

    What others should know:

One of the smallest and easiest chrony's to use, great value for the money.

    Things I liked:

The unit is very compact, it works without problems and is easy to use.

    Things I would have changed:

A small stand on which it could be mounted during use would be very helpful.

    What others should know:

remember, that when mounted on barrel it will have a small effect on your accuracy.

    Things I liked:

brand, size, light wight, no wires, not difficult to setup, bluetooth connectivity to phone,

    What others should know:

I watched some videos and read the instructions for setup, everything understandable and straight forward. I placed it on my fx crown .25 and started making shots at different settings but I quickly got frustrated because out of 10 shots I only got reading for 6 of them. Another 10 shots and only 7 readings, last 10 shots and only 4 readings. Batteries are new. phone is close to the chronograph. I read something about the sensitivity, I need to play with it later on, but for first time use, a little disappointed. The readings, when detected, are consistent....

    Things I liked:

Works great. Simple set up. Love the interface in the app.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. Great product for the money!

    What others should know:

When I first set this up, I thought it was defective. Turns out that it will not record anything at 1300 FPS or above. Once my pressure dropped enough for my muzzle velocity to drop below that, it started working as advertised. So, I would recommend starting out with a tank not fully topped off. Needless to say, I am tuning my gun way down now that I know the muzzle velocity!

I got one even one day late arrived and look like it already opened with no user manual, still waiting to hear from them if it suppose to be like this?

    Things I liked:

Small Size, Light Weight, V Bracket for secure alignment, reliability (no shots missed so far), Portable, Software Updatable, can save shot strings by email, Apple Notes, or App internal string file.

    Things I would have changed:

Method of securing V bracket to barrel not included (rubber bands are not great ), Software is not as good as it can be. Looking forward to updates, Runs on batteries with no port for an external adapter for power, setup is not intuitive (takes a little time to learn), cannot delete profiles, even though it has a delete function (doesn’t work), Cannot modify profile names once created, cannot read profile name that you are typing (white letters on white background) but you can save whatever you typed for a name.

    What others should know:

In spite of the above issues, this is definetely the way to go for checking your airguns. Once you get the hang of it, the operation is smooth and results are consistent. Although only the last 10 shots display, the chrony keeps track of your entire string and it can be saved. I have added a AAA battery eliminator when using the FX indoors. The adapter (Lenink Battery Supply Eliminator) is removable so that batteries can be used when shooting out of doors. In use, the FX is comparable to my other two Chronys for accuracy. Bottom Line: This Chrony is great to use after years of frustration with others on the market. It is up an ready to use quickly and makes monitoring and adjusting my airguns a pleasure instead of a chore. Since it needs no light, it will even shoot in the dark. What more can I say? I love it. Five stars to FX for developing this Chrony.

    Things I liked:

The picture shows another piece of attachment point I don't know because I did not get that piece. Picks up about one out of every 8 shots if lucky.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it work. Shooting a 30 cal impact and it can not seem to see the pellets.

    What others should know:

Careful when boarding the FX bus it can be a rough and disappointing ride. My 30 cal Impact has lots of issues.

    Things I liked:

Very easy to setup and use. The voice readout is nice.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see both fps & fpe on the same screen. Currently have to choose one or the other.

    What others should know:

If using with a break barrel I recommend getting a small camera tripod as it is awkward cocking with the unit hanging off the end.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

It is very portable and there is no need to worry about what kind of light it receives as it works by radar. It is close enough to my Prochrono.

    Things I would have changed:

A quick change for the brackets and a no tool battery compartment lid. Some sort of rubber where the barrel makes contact to reduce movement.

    What others should know:

It will not strap to a Tx200 etc. The window that it works with is small, so that is an issue. The battery light seems to be red most of the time, with good batteries. It does miss some shots. Even with the above negatives I still like it.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

The app works well on android 10, and makes getting data from the chronograph and transferred to a computer for analysis very easy. Battery life is excellent if you remove the batteries from the chronograph when not in use. Even with the chronograph powered off, it will drain batteries. Compact size makes it easy to store, transport and use.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it less sensitive to positioning, or provide fitted/attached hook-and-loop straps to make it easier to attach and remove.

    What others should know:

If the chronograph is not in the exact same position in relation to the end of the barrel with each shot, readings can vary significantly. My initial testing with this chronograph was on a tripod just under the end of the barrel on an Air Arms s500. I also had another chronograph down range for comparison. The down range chrono recorded significantly less velocity spread (9 fps) than the FX (40 fps). I powered off the FX, moved the down range chrono 1 foot in front of the barrel and recorded velocity spreads of 9 fps. I then attached the FX to the barrel with the adapter, and was now recording spreads of 9 fps. Without attaching the FX chronograph to the barrel, I was never able to get the consistency in readings as I was with it attached. The problem with this is some airguns will be susceptible to point of impact shifts with the chrono attached vs detached. The Air Arms s500 has no POI shift as the barrel shroud is secured to the air cylinder with a bracket and set screws.

    Things I liked:

Small and light. When working, convenient.

    Things I would have changed:

Needs MUCH better battery life, more Bluetooth stability, less dropped shots, and more could be done with the software.

    What others should know:

My unit EATS batteries. 3 new Energizers only last about 1 hour 15 minutes - and the last 29 minutes are problematic. As the batteries drain, more and more shots are dropped and Bluetooth starts to randomly drop. I contacted Pyramid and was told "contact FX USA" FX USA customer service said "yeah, we've heard that complaint a few times", but offered no help. Pretty shoddy customer service. I have to assume most folks are getting better battery life. Ps I thought I reviewed this previously (I was nicer) but can't find it.

    Things I liked:

Ridiculously easy to set up and use. Not light sensitive. Small and easy to carry in gear.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not a thing

    What others should know:

Unless you want a chrono for centerfire firearms also, this is the chrono to get.

    Things I liked:

Works very well. iPhone app is OK. The best thing about this is the portability and not needing to worry about lighting as with traditional chronographs. It was accurate when compared to my Competition Electronics ProChrono DLX Chronograph. Readings were very close between the two. I recommend this highly.

    Things I would have changed:

Include velcro strips or some other universal attachment method. Useful battery life seemed somewhat short, so stock upon AAA batteries if you plan to do much shooting.

    What others should know:

Don't forget to sight in your gun without the crony attached to the barrel. It will likely make a difference.

    Things I liked:

Small, light, portable, easy to set up and use.

    Things I would have changed:

It fails to read occasional shots, but that is no big deal. Phone app is a bit crude and limited. I'd like to see more options for saving - with labels. Saving in Exel format would save me some steps. It would also be nice to analyze a subset of a string. My unit is a battery hog. I'm on my 4th set of batteries in the ~week I've had it. At the most I've used it for 10 hours. I'm not happy with this... Wonder if my unit is faulty?

    What others should know:

The service and shipping from Pyramid were great.

    Things I liked:

When I took it out of the box I was kind of mad there were no instructions . But after playing with it for a little while it slowly started to grow on me until I loved its accuracy and ease of use . To put the barrel hanger attachment on all you do is take out all the screws on the back and swap the 2 pieces . I found the best results with it hanging on my barrel about an inch back of the muzzle . There the results were about 3 FPS different than my friends light chrono which is basically no difference at all . It worked fine with my Gamo break barrel and my FX Mk2 Impact !

    Things I would have changed:

    Add some instructions !!!

    What others should know:

You are going to love this thing as it will fit in your case unlike the other chronographs out there .

    Things I liked:

Easy to set up and record shot strings on iphone. Fairly simple to use. It is a bit sensitive to barrel alignment. If it is not just right it won't record shots reliably but when right it won't miss any shots. I've only used it with .177 and .22 pellet rifles but so far so good. I want to try it with center fire handguns and muzzle loaders next.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

    No

    Things I liked:

This is the simplest, easiest to use chronograph I have ever used. I currently own three chronographs and have owned several more. This is the pick of the litter, and the price is great. Yes, I had the big orange one and just sold it.

    Things I would have changed:

Currently, a screwdriver is required to open/close the battery compartment. How about a thumbscrew....??

    What others should know:

I have had this chronograph only a short time and have not yet fully explored its capabilities, but it has been love at first sight. Do know that you must have an internet connection and Bluetooth turned on.
