    Things I liked:

Easy to change the targets made for it; does a good job at catching the pellets for emptying in a controled manner. Came w/it's own tool and went together quick & easy

    Things I would have changed:

extend the bottom of the 'resevoir' enough to allow it to sit on a flat surface on it's own while presenting the target vertically

    What others should know:

keyhole style cutout makes it easy to hang almost anywhere

    Things I liked:

It was relative inexpensive and it introduced me to the excellent GAMO targets

    Things I would have changed:

Thicker steel in the pellet trap. The 1000 FPS rifles everybody sells nowadays just beat the stuffings out of this trap. I expect I'll shoot through it before long.

    What others should know:

    Don't use anything bigger than a .177 with this, preferably low-velocity, like a 760.

    Things I liked:

Excellent trap for home or garage and tough!

    Things I would have changed:

Cap for trap to keep pellets from jumping out of the collector.

    What others should know:

A piece of good old "duct tape" across the collector helps to keep the pellets in the collector.

    Things I liked:

    easy to assemble.

    Things I would have changed:

    size, not big enough.

    What others should know:

pellets on occassion come out and go everywhere beside the trap section.

    Things I liked:

Small and easily mounted to a back stop.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd make it a heavier gauge steel and specify on the box, the max FPS that can be used.

    What others should know:

I bought this from a brick and mortar store, not PA. The box didn't list and FPS limitations, so I set it up to use it with my .177 Gamo Whisper (just getting broken in). Within about 100 shots using pellets ranging from 7.56 gn to 10.65 gn, I had destroyed the deflector and put a large enough dimple in the back to prevent me from removing it from my back stop. Definitely don't use it above 800 FPS. Four days and it's toast.

    Things I liked:

Price and number of paper targets included.

    Things I would have changed:

Thicker metal in the back stop. Larger opening for larger targets.

    What others should know:

While I really like this trap, it did not hold up well to my Ruger Air Hawk. Its supposed to be rated for pellet guns up to 1000 fps, but mine at around 900 fps punched holes in the back of the trap within 10 shots. I still have it and use other methods to prevent more holes, so other than the back stop it holds up ok. Its a nice little trap to have for a lower powered air gun, but just isn't strong enough steel for anything over 800 fps. The paper targets are great though. Perfect thickness for clean holes to be punched every time.

    Things I liked:

The heavy paper/cardboard targets are good.

    Things I would have changed:

it really needs heavier guage steel construction The first three shots made significant dents in the back panel from 34 ft. I wouldn't want to bring it into my living area with all that shattered pellet dust and lead in it.

    What others should know:

When the pellets hit the trap they shatter and fragment creating dust and lead schrapnel that for the most part stays in the trap. Went to the hardware store, spent $2 for a wad of duct putty and stuffed a small chunk of it into the apex of the pellet trap funnel, it's now quieter, makes less lead dust and the pellets dont penetrate enough to blow holes into the back plate.

    Things I liked:

Works well at stopping high powered shots. You do get some rebound that will tear the target sometimes, but it's stopping my Phantom at 50 feet without any issues.

    Things I liked:

i like the targets but the trap was almost shot through within 150 shots. but pyramyd air replaced it without a problem i decided to try the tech force mod and its been fine.

    Things I liked:

    Simple. Effective.

    Things I would have changed:

Wish it were a little more heavy duty, but for .177 under 1000 fps, it gets the job done.

    What others should know:

This is a lightweight effective trap. .177 only. under 1000 fps only. Anything heavier or greater velocity will dent the trap.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Easy to put together, portable, and easy to empty

    Things I would have changed:

Use a thicker, steal plate to reinforce the back of the square box to make it capable of handling larger calibers and higher power guns.

    What others should know:

Tested it with a Benjamin 392 pumped up 4 times at 20 yards and the pellets were still denting the back of the trap. Easily addressed by sliding in a thin steal plate to reinforce the back wall of the box.

  • Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Easy to assemble, nice paint finish, holds Gamo targets securely and comes with 100 targets.

    Things I would have changed:

Use a heavier gauge steel for the deflector plate and pellet catch bin. My FWB124 pulverized the deflector plate and pushed the back of the catch bin out 1/4 inch within 20 shots. Also would be nice to have two keyed screw slots in the back rather than just one (to help keep it from rotating on the single screw).

    What others should know:

Read the description. These traps are 5.5 inches square. For some reason, lots of folks think these traps are a square foot in size and then surprised by the small size when they receive it. Be sure to mount it on or in front of a safe backstop, especially when training kids because they will miss and shoot holes in your drywall. :-)

    Things I liked:

The trap has a nice design. The card stock paper targets are held in place by fitted slots and pellets make very exact round holes. The targets are easily duplicated on a copier.

    Things I would have changed:

The trap says it's rated for lead pellets up to 1,000 feet per second. I used 16 grain Predator pellets at 775 feet per second and blew through the back metal plate within 100 shots.

    What others should know:

For any air gun with some power, you'll have to reinforce the back plate. I think a fitted drop in piece of heavy gauge steel would work.

    Things I liked:

small and compact, does a decent (not perfect) job of trapping pellets, came with a good supply of nice targets

    Things I would have changed:

make it stronger, put a lid of some type on top to keep the odd pellet from bouncing out (a rag works) Change the specs and instructions to reflect it's real strength.

    What others should know:

Do not use this with guns of significant power. My .177 1000fps shot through the back of it in 10 shots using standard weight lead pellets, all as specified in the instructions. I got my money back from Amazon. Bought another one from Pyramyd to use with a 600fps gun, which works fine.

    Things I liked:

Outstanding trap. I bought it to use with my IZH 46M and it really works well. The targets are not paper. They are cardboard.. close to the thickness of cereal box cardboard, so the wad cutter bullets cut very clean holes even when relatively close together.

    Things I would have changed:

I had to put some masking tape over the top tube in order to keep the pellets from bouncing out and making a mess on the floor while I was shooting.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Solidly built and works quite fine. As other reviewers comment, this trap is not for high powered air rifle as is. But I modify it slightly, and I am using this trap for .177 Air Arms TX200 as well as Beeman HW97k, or RWS48 target shooting. It is a simple modification by inserting Duct Seals in the trap. With these accurate rifles, I can get at least 15 or more groupings on a single target sheet from 10m.

    Things I would have changed:

When the folded edges that hold the target sheet are hit by pellets, especially by high power air rifles, it bents in and sometimes it becomes hard to hold the sheet anymore unless you bend it back with a short screwdriver or something. Maybe it needs some change of design in that area.

    What others should know:

I get 4 or 5 sticks of Duct Seal from Lowe's or Home depot. Each stick costs ~$2. Fill the duct seal inside the pellet trap cone completely. Then, with this $10. modification, Pellets from TX200, HW97K with 930 ft/s, or even RWS48 have no problem stopping the pellets in the cone. They are embedded in about 2" deep in the duct seal.

    Things I liked:

I use mine for c02 handgun shooting at 7 yards. Using lead pellets only. To me it is just the right size for hand gun shooting at that distance. I see that others are not happy with the results when using a rifle that generally has more power than a handgun. I have benefitted from their experience and not used a rifle on this target.. The quality of the target inserts is very good.

    Things I would have changed:

Heaver metal is suggested so as to satisfy the more powerful rifle shooters. myself included.

    What others should know:

I would not buy this for rifle shooting

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Value for price paid. Durability (but see my caution below). Availability of target refils. Ease of assembly (tool included). This is a great indoor/outdoor for those with limited shooting space. The concept is novel and very utility.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the whole thing of thicker metal (a larger model wouldn't hurt either). Put a caution label on it for LOWER velosity pellets (.22 @ anything above 600FPS will destroy it).

    What others should know:

I used my Remington/Crosman NPSS on it till it (the gun) broke and it (the gun) almost destroyed this trap! The angled deflector bent back eliminating the correct deflection angle (causing potential ricochets) and it developed cracks where the deflector bends, connecting it to the catch can, literally started ripping it off of the trap. I then started shooting off center so the pellets would glance off of the sides onto the deflector then into the trap's recepticle. However, all that did was to begin to punch out the sides and separate the sides from each other at the (bolted) seams. Pellets would fill the gaps as they slid down the grooves, bending the flanges on the cone. Eventually the spot-welded "tracks" that hold the cone flanges to the recepticle started to break loose. You might be wondering why I gave this such a high rating then. Right? Despite all this, this trap is a wonderful trap if you don't over-tax it... then it should last forever. I wouldn't shoot magnums or any rifle over 600fps into it. Get the Champion for that. To complete this story, I got another GAMO trap but now I don't shoot the big stuff into it (only my Crosman 2100- 4 or 5 pumps and an old Medallist pistol- up to 10 pumps or any other pellet pistol I have). What happened to the old broken one you might ask? I took it apart. Straightened the sheetmetal, drilled and screwed the tracks back into it and now keep it hanging on a fence outside to shoot targets when I go out with the dogs. It's just like new... except for some rust now.

    Things I liked:

The included pack of paper targets. This is a decent idea but really way too small. Functional, but small. I would have gladly paid more money for a larger one with thicker metal. Even though it says it's rated for 1000fps, I wouldn't put too much stock in that claim. After about 20 shots with my RWS 350 mag (.22) it put so many deep dents in the back that I only have about 20 more shots before there will definitely be a hole in the thing.

    Things I would have changed:

Size. Thickness of metal. Change rating to 750fps or less.

    What others should know:

There is a tab that the pellets hit before hitting the back wall. After a few shots mine was permanently bent/folded back. Don't get creative and think you can place something behind it to keep it from bending to increase the life of your trap. I did that and was promptly rewarded with a ricochet of an expanded and quite sharp pellet in the neck just missing my external jugular. I'm fine but I think I would have rather bled to death than tell my ER colleagues what I did. So don't do that obviously and wear your safety goggles!!!

    Things I liked:

quality and simple construction and design. My seven YO assembled it without much trouble. It has done well with lead pellets in a Ruger youth rifle at 565 fps. Collects most of the pellets, with only a few making their way out of the trap.

    Things I would have changed:

could have been a little bigger.

    What others should know:

    Pay attention to the size.
