    Things I liked:

Great value; concerned I was buying a mediocore scope because of the price. Fact, I don't think you can find a better scope for the money. Easy to mount, site and use. Just plain nice.

    Things I would have changed:

As others have noted; those pop-up lenbs covers on the site are a real pain; But, don't let that stop you from buying this scope.

    What others should know:

The people at Pyramyd were very helpful...the young lady that helped me just blew me away with her knowledge about this product.

    Things I liked:

Value. Excellent optics. Thin reticle. Low price.

    Things I would have changed:

I am beginning to tire of Leapers flip open scope caps.

    What others should know:

I put this scope on my Benjamin Discovery. I feel it is a perfect match as far as size and weight to maintain the characteristics of the rifle. It would also be good on something like a Beeman R7 or Air Venturi Bronco. This scope does not have the nearly useless illuminated reticle so it saves you about $20 or more off the price.

    Things I liked:

Very clear, easy to sight in, stays sighted in. About 1,000 shots through my RWS 350 Magnum so far with no issues at all.

    Things I would have changed:

Don't epecially care for flip up scope covers.

    What others should know:

Hard to imagine a better scope for the money.

    Things I liked:

    Great scope! Awsome price.

    Things I would have changed:

    Flip up lens covers

    What others should know:

I bought the scope to shoot in a 10 yd postal match, It works great for that, I have several other 3x9 scopes and none of those focus on the target at 10 ydsat 9x, no problem with the Leapers.

    Things I liked:

This scope was part of the RWS 350 Striker Combo. Optically, this scope performs well and does the job. The included mounts raises the scope a bit high for me, but works.

    Things I would have changed:

Lens caps could be better, but does the job

  • Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

AO and clarity. I could see targets crystal clear from 10 out to about 45 yards. Thats when the recoil killed it. So have not been able to test any farther than that. New one is on its way will see how it works out. I have other leapers scope and I am sure I just got a bad one.

    Things I would have changed:

I like the zero locking target turrets. Illuminated reticle. I got this one in the striker combo. If I was buying one on my own It would have had all that.

    What others should know:

Warrenty service is awesome. No hassles at all. Know your distance for the AO. Its a nice scope, practice with it get used to it.

  • Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

This is a nice clear bright scope at a bargain price. It will also shave a few ounces off the gun weight compared to some 40mm obj. lens scopes 15.9 oz. compared to typical 20 oz. The range finder dots are really cool and you can also use them like a kind of peep sight to place the dot center of a hollow bullseye target like a benchrest target for very easy aiming.

    Things I would have changed:

Lens caps are silly. You have to take them off and rotate them every time the AO is adjusted. Should be replaced with regular snap on caps with bungee cord.

    What others should know:

Compares very favorably with more expensive products.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Very sturdy construction, spring airgun rated, mil-dot reticle, extremely low price...what's not to like? Adjustable parallax down to 6 yards means I can use this indoors or out. The adjustment knobs have small tabs on them so that you don't have to use a coin to adjust for windage and elevation, an annoyance that's very common with scopes in this price range. I am very pleased with the quality of the optics, as well.

    Things I would have changed:

The flip-up lens covers are fairly crappy; mine tend to not actually lock closed and will pop open randomly. Still, this is a fairly minor complaint, and given the price of the scope, doesn't detract from its overall value at all for me.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Just right size and fit for my .177 Gamo Shadow 1000 springer. Parallax down to 6 yards(thats 18 feet!) and out to 100 yards.Clear and bright view. Once it was zeroed I shot a chipmunk and a starling with the first 2 shots today. Mil dot reticle helps adjust/sight in for various distances quickly.Light weight & durable so far. My 2 previous scopes were destroyed by years of .177 shots.

    Things I would have changed:

Scope cover on the objective end gets in the way when moving parallax in and out. Since all my shots are 30ft to 30yds I do make frequent adjustments as the day goes on. Probably will just remove it in the field or get a different style.

    What others should know:

A great basic scope at a low price without unnecessary bells and whistles. I keep mine on 5 power mostly and don't need lighted colored reticles either. A solid warranty and scope covers are included.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

the whole scope is really good and feals extremely sturdy and very well built, I added it to my Beeman RS2 air rifle with the .22 cal barrel on and crosman hollow point's

    Things I would have changed:

um the one and only thing i would change are the flip-up lens covers, the front one should not be added to it, because when adjusting the AO it gets in the way so i took the front one off but left the back one on, added a leapers one piece scope mount to it and its really nice and sturdy :)

    What others should know:

buy this scope if you have a high-power springer or notro piston rifle that needs a scope or already has one that doesnt stay sighted cause this Leapers scope is a dream come true when it comes to staying sighted

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

    Price, look, features, clarity.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing possible at this price.

    What others should know:

Focus range at different distances is very broad, and distance marks on Obj. adjustment considerably off. I shoot competitive FT and bought this scope for an HW30 to do a mini course in the back yard. Determining specific distances of target with Obj. adj. is not precise enough to be useful. You need to put tape over distance marks and remeasure and mark yourself. Ocular lens is difficult to adjust but I have same problem with expensive scopes but not to this degree.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Nice bright image and easy to bring to focus. Good eye relief. Holds zero well, nice turret adjusters.

    Things I would have changed:

The flip up lense caps are clunky. If you change paralax adjustment then the lense cap must be re-positioned to flip up. Not a big deal or a deal killer just less than optimal.

    What others should know:

Good value. Combined this scope with the Leepers 1 piece mount on a Gamo Big Cat. The Big Cat has a big recoil and this scope is holding zero nicely after 500 shots.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Exceptionally clear and bright, especially for the price! Fogging hasn't been an issue so far. It is durable and has smooth parallax and zoom adjustments. The clicks seem to be accurate and repeatable as well. I have had no issues with water getting inside it so far and I have owned this scope for over two years.

    Things I would have changed:

The front objective flip cover fits very loosely and tends to fall off. Not really a problem at all. I often take the flip cover off to use the parallax adjustment anyway. This scope really has all of the features you can ask for at the price, or even at a higher price.

    What others should know:

I have owned this scope for over two years and have had no problems. I have it mounted on a Gamo Shadow Sport and it has probably been through 3,000+ shots without any problems. The parallax adjustments are very close to actual yardages. This scope is capable of extreme precision and keeps its zero over thousands of shots from a spring-piston air rifle. With Beeman FTS and Crosman Premium Field Hunting pellets, I have shot 1/8-1/2" groups at 25 yards with this scope. It has also served well on my Ruger 10/22. I'm curious how well it would perform on a centerfire rifle. I just bought another one because they have such good value and performance at the price. This scope makes me question if it is worth spending 200+ dollars for a scope for a centerfire rifle. Air rifle scopes must be re-enforced because spring-piston airguns recoil foward and back in a way that is supposed to destroy a normal centerfire rifle scope. Therefore, this scope should be very durable.

    Things I liked:

the optics are clear, the mil dot system is the new standard for scope crosshairs, the range finding capability with the AO system and mil dot reticle is great. you will easily find the limits of your airgun when using this scope.

    Things I would have changed:

the scope should come with a sunshade like the leapers 4x32. when shooting with these scopes back to back on different rifles the benefits of the sun shade are obvious.

    What others should know:

this scope is mounted on my magnum springer (beeman) with the leapers accushot one piece mount. after more than 200 shots it is still holding true. I would easily recommend this combination to anyone with a magnum springer.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Very sharp and clear scope. The price is exceptional for the quality received. Works great on my heavy recoil springer..

    Things I would have changed:

I would prefer a different style lens cover, held on with elastic bands, etc.

    What others should know:

This is a replacement for another (4x32 Leapers) that I did have a problem with. Leapers customer service was outstanding and very prompt in resolving the problem.

    Things I liked:

Well made scope. Very sturdy with firm, distinct clicks for windage and elevation. I was impressed with the fit and finish for the money. A bargain for what you get. Mounted on a Diana 34, a perfect combination.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. For this price I don't think you could expect anything more. A great value.

    What others should know:

Very clear optics from 3-9X. No issues in function whatsoever. I'm really happy with this purchase. I use this in conjunction with the leapers droop compensating rail (made for diana guns) with leapers low mounts.

    Things I liked:

Well made, clear optics, light weight, good parallax adjustment, mildot.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing!

    What others should know:

Good value for the money. It came with the gun but it's a good choice. I like the mildot feature because i don't like to click when I hunt. Slight flare under certain light conditions. Nothing to worry about. It's a good scope so far.

  • Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

The value at the price! Build quality excellent, as well as accuracy, image clarity and light capture, eye relief, parallax adjustment range, ease of zeroing to POI. Only took three shots to dead zero my new Discovery on the bull black after initial 5 shot group, which was only a couple inches low and to the left after mounting. Plastic flip covers on rubber housing are fine for the quality of this scope package. They fit securely on the scope and the covers secure solidly in closed position for travel in case or moving through brush. Positive spring loaded flip up when opened. Mil-Dot range finding a sweet extra! Lots of reference points on cross hairs for range finding.

    Things I would have changed:

The downward pull of gravity on pellets so they shoot perfectly flat with no further adjustments needed to made to the scope. But seriously, this scope is high quality and a great value for your air rifle or any .22 rifle. Nothing I would change.

    What others should know:

Once initial objective setting is made the angle of the flip cover on the objective lense may not be straight up and down for closing, but its not that big of deal. Especially if your targets are between 20 to 50 yards. Just decide what range you 're going to shoot from most of the time, then set the objective to that range and if necessary, reset the position of the front lense cover to be straight up and down at that setting.

    What others should know:

I have 2 of these scopes now. Got the first for a Benjamin Discovery, liked it so much I grabbed another for my 2260. I've become a big fan of Leapers optics over the past couple years - you really cannot beat them for the money. I've lost count, but this is at least my 5th Leapers, and I've been totally satisfied with all of them. This scope is solidly constructed, holds zero perfectly and delivers very good light transmission for not having an enormous objective lens. Sure, a sidewheel AO would be nice but come on - for $45 you really can't go wrong. Gets my vote as the best entry level hunting/sporting scope you can buy for your PCP.
