i like these when it's COLD OUTSIDE! otherwise, i just hang a nice pouch around my neck i can wear GLOVES while using these to load pellets, and i don't have to take the gloves off and put them back on every time i shoot. they do take a few minutes to develop a 'touch' for using them. so do airguns.

they could be manufactured with a little more precision, but it general they work pretty well if you use pellets with consistent shape/size. yeah, the're 10 bucks; try making one by yourself

For hunting its verry cool because you dont have to open a box to put a pelets on the gun but for home shooting you open the box and leave it open so dont need this pen.

the push buton so you can realy place 20 pelets on it. And mabe place a holder like a real pen so you can put it closer and more ready when your hunting

I bought Crossman Pellet Loader at the same time to see which I liked better. The Pellet Pen holds about 4 more pellets. The Pellet Pen advances the pellets with a slider that sticks out through a side of the main tube so the whole unit doesn't get longer when it is full of pellets. I found the pellet pen to be a bit easier to dispense a single pellet with, especially when both units are full, but the difference diminishes with a little use/practice.

If anything I would trade about 4 pellets of capacity for a shorter unit.

In my experience the Pellet Pen is a better target/plinking oriented unit due to the greater capacity. The Pellet Loader would be better for field use thanks to the metal tube and the shorter length. Both are good units and handy to have.

Make it from high quality metal. Make it so it can only eject one pellet at a time. Give it a tactile confirmation that a pellet has been loaded. MAKE IT IN AMERICA!

This is little more than an empty ballpoint pen tube that is poorly designed and cheaply made. Its only value is that it keeps 20 pellets lined up unless the thing gets turned upside down or caught on something. Then it spews 20 pellets everywhere! I can load faster if I reach into my pocket and take out a pellet and load it myself.

Everything, took me a little getting used to, but when you hold it over the pellet hole and push, it pushed the pellet in all the way flush, and your ready to shoot.

Make sure you have a pellet partially sticking out before trying to insert it into the break barrel weapon (mine happens to the the American made NPSS Remington). Once you have a pellet partially sticking out, hold it over the barrel, and simply push it in, very handy to have, I have bought a second, and just ordered my third one. Very nice to have when you are target shooting.

Easy to load , pops one pellet at a time , lightweight , easy on pellets and nothing to rust or oil .

If possible make it or one like it that will work in the Beeman P17 .

This is great for break open type air guns and is going to be nice this winter when we all have gloves on . At the price everyone should have one of these .

I like that it holds 20 pellets. But it comes at a cost. When you fill it up to 20, the flimsy plunger falls out if tipped upside down.

The plunger is too long and sharp, it sometimes seats the pellet too deep when using Premier Ultra Magnums. As a result the accuracy suffers. I would have shaped the plunger end like a pellet seater, round so it does not drive the pellet too far into the barrel. Metal or stainless steel components would have been nice. Also, I woulod have used a rubber like tip to make it easier to align the loader and the barrel, and not scratch up the pellets.

Depending on the pellets used and the type of barrel this could cause you lose accuracy. After using this for 30 rounds, I though something was wrong with my rifle. Turned out to be this device, and the way it seat the pellet. Used the Crosman pellet loader and had no problem, and accuracy was again restored.

I liked the capacity and function. Holds 20 pellets with no problem. And it is easy to use, compact, and portable. Great with Crosman Ultra Mags, this loader helps keep the fingers clean.

Is made of plastic, and the tip is plastic. The plunger should be more shaped like a pellet seater, than a narrow point. I had a couple of incidents where the plunger shoved the pellet too far down the chamber.

For air guns with break barrels, a loader makes life a whole lot easier, and once you load up a couple of these and wash your hands, you will not neet to worry about getting lead residue all over the place. Also, these loaders are quick to load up, and makes seating the pellet easier, just don't push the plunger too hard.

Keeps your hands clean, easy to feed the pellets into a break-barrel gun.

Lower the price, everyone should have one or more of these.

Free! Doesn't get to be a better value than this! PA sent me one with a rifitle purchase and I love this thing! Takes a little bit to get use to the "feel" of it but when you do, it works as advertised.

Make one that holds more pellets!

The 'pen' holds 20 pellets and the simple mechanism 'pushes' pellets out the other end with a slight 'click' as the pusher rides over a bump, but nothing prevents pushing multiple pellets out at once if you keep pushing. It would be even handier if they were inexpensive enough to load a half dozen of them up and carry them around like an ammo magazine.
