Very easy to use. I've tried this and a similar pen from Crossman, and found this pen to give a better feel (at least for this user). Quality is decent if you know your dealing with a piece of plastic.

Price! These pens can't be expensive to produce. If I can buy a ball point pen or a mechanical pencil with more complicated mechanics for under $5, I should be able to do the same with a pellet pen. If the price dropped, I'd buy several and hold different pellets in each, or just carry a couple into the field when I go hunting so I'd be sure to have plenty of ammo at the ready. It would also be nice to make it 1/4 inch longer. I can fit about 18 pellets in it. I'd like to fit 20 so I can shoot 5-shot groups without reloading the pen. It would also help when comparing pellets in a rifle to be able to load the pen with a multiple of 5 pellets.

The capacity is dependent on the pellet. I have yet to be able to load 20 pellets in it.

The pellet pen allows you to pre-load 20 pellets and is very easy to use with break barrels, and even to load various clips or magazines.Having a few of them lets you get your fingers dirty before going out to shoot, as the pellets are not touched once loaded in the pen. Very convienent!

Maybe different colors for different pellets. Are still a bit pricey.

Hamdy item works well with the Bronco not so well with the tighter fitting pellets I use in my bid gun

Pellets are easily dispensed into the chamber. I don't have to worry about dropping an open tin of pellets on the ground. Don't have lead on my fingers. And shooting indoors, not dropping lead pellets on the carpet.

Don't try and make something more out of this than it is.... It's simple, helps keeps hands and indoor carpeting clean.

Feeder Engaugement thing. Plastic tube. Time it lasted which was just 3 days before it stopped feeding and pellets began turning sideways in the chamber

I may have had a "Bad One" but the costs for the restock fee and shipping costs back to Pyramid, i would have a whopping $4 put back on my card. Unless you can get it locally or are within driving distance, pass on this one.

It works

It is poorly constructed. It needs to be made from better material. It needs to have a more rugged "clicker mechanism" for lack of better words. It needs to be tightened up, the whole device is quite loose. The "stopper" that holds pellets in at the tip needs to be tighter. The plunger that pushes pellets down, needs to be designed so it will not slip out all the time.

It really does work and its better that loading manually, however it is a very cheaply constructed device. Its not really worth 14 bucks, but its the only thing out there right now.

For people like me who have fat fingers, this is a great time saver.

replace the plastic with aluminum, the click stop should be a little tighter.

Better than spilling pellets all over the floor or ground, and it does just what it says it will do.

The slider could have a more positve click to keep it in place a little better when carrying it in your pocket.

Reduces handling lead pellets. Makes pellets easier to handle loading, moving around in the field.

Price. Your paying for engineering not material, but still high.

At first I thought I wasted my money on a gimick. After using it for awhile it actually turned out to be very useful. I'm old and my close eye sight isn't good. Once loaded the pellets are going in the right direction and there is no fumbling putting them in the chamber the right direction. Cock,load,shoot, simple fast shooting with out the fumbling with the pellet all the time. Low light is not a problem. All in all a fairly good product. I would have given it a better rating but for the price takes something away from the value of use.

its a little pricey in my opinion for a piece of plastic but its very purposeful. also no more messing around with poisonous led materials and easy to do with gloves on.
