Works great. Simple to use. Folds down to compact size.
Things I would have changed:Make it less sensitive to lighting conditions.
What others should know:I held out on buying a chrony for a while, but so glad I finally picked one up. A chrony is truly a must have for all airgunners. What you think your rifle is doing can be very different from what is really doing. Knowing what my rifles are doing has brought me up a level, and you get to see which pellet your rifle likes the best.

When it works, it works very well. If you set up the chrony and your gun's hight and angle properly and with the right lighting, it will work every time. Else, if you see ERR1, ERR2 all the time.
Things I would have changed:Make it more sensitive especially at the low lignting condition. When I used indoor, it definitely will not work. When I shoot after sunset, it will cease to work too.
What others should know:There something th shooter has to pay attention to;
1. It it is too dar, especially indoor, this thing would not work.
2. if you shoot too high above the sensor (over 6 inches), there will be no reading
3. if you shoot at an angle that the bullet does pass the sensor directly above, you will get ERR2 reading.

Vey rugged steal case that folds for storage, very helpful staff if you have any questions about the setup.
Things I would have changed:Not a thing except the high price of the LED lighting kit
What others should know:A must have if you have any doubts about the performance of your airgun...

Works very well
Things I would have changed:I use straws instead of the metal rods for guiding unless I need the sheilds. They wont destroy your unit if hit by an errant bullet
What others should know:watch the cable in the center between halves it can get pinched in the side when closing

I can check a new gun to see its fps and see if it maintains velocity check to see how fast different pellets shoot or even give my gun a regular check up to she how shes doin I use it all the time
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:A must have for serious shooters Why assume your gun shoots x amount of fps when you can know. It saved me a rifle that was under warranty but I never would have known the spring was broken untill the chrony showed 1/2 my previous Speed so I returned it for a new gun payed for itself right there

Works as described.
Things I would have changed:For $20 more buy the Alpha model which calculates everything for you.

Works very well
What others should know:Be carefull I nicked mine 3 times but was blessed in the fact that i didnt damage the sky screens. Keep barrel level no closer than 2" hight and stay back 3 ft with real guns otherwise the blast can damage the screens 6 inches with air guns this is my opinion

Everything - size,portability,price..
Things I would have changed:Make it lock together when closed ..
What others should know:This item is a must for people like me that want to know what FPS there pellet guns/rifles are shooting at. I have a Mendoza rm-600 .22 cal. listed fps is 950. Factory test shot 853 fps. It's broke in now over 1000+ shots. Got this chrony and now I know that it shoots an average of 670 FPS w/14.3 lead and about 750 FPS w/ lead free ammo. I would have still believed that it was shooting at or around the factory's 853 fps. THANKS to this chrony I know what this rifle's actual fps is. Well worth price paid...

easy to set up and does just like the directions say. if its cloudy, you dont need the skyscreens. if its a clear , you do! FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS!
Things I would have changed:I wish i would have bought the single button for it but made one real easy and cheap.
What others should know:it really helped me see what my m-rod was doin at the velocity curve after i made the button and saw all the other stuff it would do. very good bargain and well made. wish i would have bought one twenty years ago.

Nice to know what my guns are doing.
Things I would have changed:Put a piece of Pellet Proof Plastic over the Display. Just in Case. Had a Pellet Drop Low from a Low CO2 ampule. Fortunately, didn't damage the display. But it sure could have.
What others should know:Cut a little piece of Plexiglas to protect the Display.

It does all it is supposed to mesure speed lolol
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:Nope it is straight and forward, just use it in a lighted space if using indoors, out doors in the daylight it works itself pretty well straight and forward.
My first one of these on a tripod, but I have the one used on a bow, and this one is easier to use because it isnt holding you up any, and mesures mre shots per reset.

Ease of use and set up was not difficult at all. Really surprised me at the velocity of pellets adn different guns. I tested 15 types of pellets through my Gamo Hunter with nitro piston and Big Cat with spring. Was very informative and seriously helped me figer out which pellet was the best all around for each gun.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:If you are shooting indoors you need the light kit. It will not work with floresent lights. And buy differnt bulbs while you are waiting for it to arrive. All of these are upgradable so if you think you need more features upgrade to what ever you need. This is a good deal.

fast and great way to chack how fast is your own rifle !
Things I would have changed:i don't like that the chrony just eat batteries, he's like my dog.. eat alot
What others should know:i did shot my chrony twies- but this thing is a badass machine- nothing did happen- you'll enjoy from your green friend !

Least expensive way to check up on the velocity of your air guns (or other guns, archery equipment, etc). It simply works and works well, without a bunch of frills.
What others should know:I had an original Chrony F1 many years ago, back when they were painted red and had cardboard stands on each end. It worked flawlessly for years, but I messed up one day while testing a .243 rifle and blew it apart. The newer ones are easier to use, and surprisingly, no more expensive than they were twenty years ago.

Simple. Compact. Tough. Price.
Things I would have changed:Nothing (for this price).
What others should know:For under 80 bones, this device will tell you how fast a bullet is traveling. To me, that seems like a crazy bargain. This model will not work inside very well, but works perfectly outside. The more sun you have, the more distance you can put between the bullet and the device. So, if it gets cloudy, you'll have to move it closer to avoid error messages. I never use the shades. It works fine without them. It also works fine using a rechargeable 9V battery (even though the instructions state that an alkaline battery must be used). If you own a PCP rifle, you absolutely need to have one of these to get the most out of your gun.

It's fast, accurate and mobile. It fits right onto my camera tripod which makes it easy to set the right angle.
Things I would have changed:Unless it was in direct sunlight, I had a hard time getting it to say anything else than "ERROR".
What others should know:I recommend this for outdoor "chronying", and if this should be a problem one can always purchase the lights specifically designed for the Shooting Chronies to enable you to use them indoors. It was relatively cheap and I couldn't ask for more for that price. I recommend this to any airgunner who wants to add a little statistical element to their shooting affairs.
