Very simple and straightforward operation. Well built to do exactly what it was designed to do.

Possibly mount display on facing wall of case back to remove the brain from the line of fire.

Essential for anyone interested in measuring and tracking the performance of projectile launchers but particularly the intricacies of airguns. This unit is as simple, accurate and inexpensive as any to be found on today's market.

Does just what it's supposed to, and does it well. Quality metal construction, and a solid feel.

Like it says..."Don't shoot your Chrony".........Until you get used to positioning the gun, put a brick, or a 2X4, or something in front of the Chrony. In case you happen to shoot a little low, you won't destroy your investment.......

I like the rugged case. When folded for storage, it is right at home kicking around in the bed of a pickup with a shovel & pickaxe! But I do not recommend you transport it that way. Also, the standard camera mount is hand for putting this Chrony on your spare tripod.

Add a battery clip to hold the battery in place.

When using this Chrony with a firearm or powerful airgun, here is a tip. Replace the metal rods with wooden dowels. If a bullet strikes the metal rods, the shock wave will destroy the plastic mounting lugs. However, if a bullet strikes a replacement wooden dowel, then the dowel simply breaks, which is cheap to replace!

Good value for a basic chrony, but can also be upgraded with remote control or printer. This allows for access to extra features and data. A chrony is a must have if you tune any of your airguns, to keep track of mainspring and seal conditions, and an invaluable tool for ballistics. I don't know how I got by without one.

Low price. Easy to setup and use.

If you shoot a PCP air rifle you need one of these. A Chrony is the only way to know how well your PCP is performing with different pellets, different charging pressures and, if you own a variable power rifle like my Sumatra 2500 Carbine, different power settings. This Chrony can be used indoors under normal incandescent lighting but you may have to experiment a bit to get everything set right. I use a 100 watt bulb in a standard clamp type reflector shop light hung about 3 feet over the Chrony. Keep the Chrony at least 3 feet in front of the muzzle of powerful PCP rifles. If you are getting readings that seem too high you probably need to use less light and/or more distance from the muzzle as I found out.

this unit works as advertised...it is a base model but at a later date you can add the printer to take advantage of the full features if you want.

The Chrony! A great tool to have if you are even half serious about your Air Guns. A nice simple unit for a decent price.

Be careful not to shoot your new Chrony!

If you plan to use this indoors, buy the lighting kit! It will not work indoors without it. Works outside great, clouds or sun.

This tool is very nice and easy to use. Its my first chrony and I was more than satisfied with it. And its not made in China!

I think it should come with the overhead light fixture and not be an extra/additional cost. The over head light fixture is necessary to use the chrony indoors. All it is is a simple light fixture with a cord.

Make sure you have a 9 volt battery on hand.
