This string dampening system is well made and easy to install. It effectively dampens string vibration without causing any loss of arrow speed and it sits out of the way of operating the crossbow.

Added SDS to my Stealth SS Crossbow.....to make crossbow quieter. Did not shoot deer this season with crossbow so I can not rate how the deer reacted to sound of crossbow firing.

The crossbow I own was already quiet but with this setup and dampening system there is zero noise or vibration in the bow after the shot. Easy to install and holds up well without adding lots of weight.

Added this onto my FX4 hoping to quiet it down some. It did just that. Of course it's still louder than I hoped, but again it is a crossbow.

The SDS was easy to install and I was amazed how quiet the bow is. I harvested an 11 ptr at 15yds and he acted like he didn't hear anything. My son shot at 4 bucks within 20yds and they never spooked (it was his 1st yr, yes he missed then all). You won't be disappointed with your purchase of the SDS system.
