Just trying these now . I feel lock tight should be used .these are a great idea I would rate this at a 8 for now
Things I would have changed:Add a tube of some kinda lock tight and maybe some kinda set screw to hold them in place .seems like they are a great idea
What others should know:If you have old eyes like me then a scope is a must
This set up is by far a great idea

This produce solved the issue I had mounting a Vortex Venom sight on my airgun. It is compact and for the most part works well.
Things I would have changed:The fit would be better if the under side of the adapters, between the 2 clamping sides was curved so it fit better on the gun. I have a Hatsan air pistol and a Gamo rifle and bot have the fit problem. It requires that the clamping forces be quite high because the adapter does not seat as well as it might.
What others should know:In spite of the fit issue, this adapter really solves the sight problem I set out to fix which was a red dot sight on an air pistol that was very compact. My shot groupings with the red dot sight is much improved over the original open sights. Being a senior , my vision is not what it was in my teens.

This worked perfectly to mount a red dot on my granddaughters new Ruger Explorer. It worked fine on the slightly rounded receiver dovetail. I never figured out the need for the tiny set screw that doesn't seem to lock anything in place.

Very good option when you wish to use Weaver base, as it keeps the scope clearance low over the barrel.

Easily adapt Picatinny to Dovetail
Things I would have changed:If anything make them deeper so they can grab dovetails that are on round tubes better.
What others should know:Most scopes these days come with Picatinny rings. These allow you to use them at an inexpensive price. No parts kit is complete without them.

Great mounts that make using better, more rubust weaver rings, a breeze with dovetail guns. I bought these about 5-6 months ago, and waited to review them so I could see how durable they were. Well, they are great and I love them! I have a Marauder In .25, and had It set up with a UTG 3-12x44 scope. I had this scope mated to the marauder using UTG 30mm High dovetail rings. It worked great for a few years but I always had 2 annoying Issues with It. (1) The medium height dovetail rings wouldnt work due to mag clearance and I hated how high the scope sat with high dovetail rings.(2) At long distances (100 yds) the High ring height caused me to run out of elevation alot quicker. Obviously this is partly due to the design of the gun and magazine and how high the mag sticks up. Well after Installing these adapters, I was able to get my scope lower, but still clear the magazine, and use my UTG Max Strength twist-lock weaver/picatinny rings. Also, I can swap scopes from different guns easier
Things I would have changed:Nothing really, I did notice the springs and shafts In the adapters had some metal shavings in them and were dry and there was some stiction. After Oiling and working them between my fingers for a few minutes, It got rid of the sticky or rough spots and they would squeeze and open with no hiccups.
What others should know:They dont stay clamped to your gun. As In, by
themselves. They are spring loaded and need a weaver/picatinny ring to clamp them down onto a dovetail. Thats fine with me, but maybe not for someone else.

Another great UTG product. I have never had any issues with UTG.
Things I would have changed:Nothing.
What others should know:I used one under a Redfield Accelerator Red Dot Reflex Sight for my Diana Bandit .177... I use the other for the bipod on my "Talon-SS-Dor" .25...so far they work great for me.

These are slicker than sliced bread.... I have longed for an adapter to put small optics on pistols without putting them high over the barrel. These are perfect. They are simple, inexpensive....and simple. I am very glad to see these on the market.
Things I would have changed:Nothing, they are perfect.

Not much they are go only if you have weaver rings I was hoping that would stay on the dovetail by themselves they don't

Works great on mounting a UTG Reflex Micro Dot, 4 MOA Single Dot sight to a Beeman P1 air pistol, just like B.B. Pelletier described in his blog, Part 10, 11 & 12 for the Beeman P1 air pistol
Things I would have changed:Nothing ~ see my evaluation on the UTG Reflex Micro Dot, Red 4 MOA Single Dot sight.

Used the adapter to mount a 1X Leupold prismatic on an old Ithaca mod 72 saddlegun. Worked like a charm! Really liked that there is almost no height added to the original mount keeping everything nice and low. Simple, effective, it works.
Things I would have changed:NADA
What others should know:Should work great on PCP's and rimfires, I don't think I'd use it on a 300 Win. mag or a hard recoiling springer unless you had a positive stop to run it up against to keep it from walking on the rail.
