Things I liked:

The fact that you can NOT get a better scope for what a scope is meant for; to SEE the target downrange, acquire the 'kill' spot, and then SHOOT! And the THREE Bug Busters I have gotten from PA are WONDERFUL performers... PERIOD!

Things I would have changed:

It would be great if we had a choice of reticles, glass vs wire vs... you get it. And though it may sound CRAZY for the price-point, I wouldn't mind having a side focus for the AO. I'm just sayin'!

What others should know:

People, I do not own a HIGH-END optic, but seriously, I KNOW what my eyeballs see when I look through one. I have had the 'pleasure' of using optics costing up in the thousands, but other than the NAME brand, I just do not GET it. Now MAYBE if you are shooting at a thousand yards, THEN you might need a PURE GLASS, GAS FILLED, NO FOG EVER type of scope. Oh, something else. While I have no clue if there might be PLASTIC optics used in some of these great scopes from Leapers and others, do NOT let someone convince you that scopes with ANY sort of PLASTIC optics is somehow inferior... IT AIN'T. Check out some of the optics that NASA uses. glass is NOT the end-all/be-all regarding the view. Some of the BEST tele lenses I used way back as a PROFESSIONAL photographer had multi-lens plastics, and a few were hybrids. Getting back to my BB scopes, I wouldn't change 'em for NOTHING. And I will always say a little prayer for some guy who thinks the only scope is a MEGA priced one... sad.

Things I liked:

Looks great, IR is fabulous for evening shooting. Accurate at first.

Things I would have changed:

R&D on the focusing ring.Very unstable. Every time adjusted for distance, looses zero.

What others should know:

After 50 rounds the focusing ring became loose and would never keep it's zero. PA was great and took it back, sent another. 50 rounds same problem.PA was great again and took it back and sent me a BSA so we'll see what happens now.

    Things I liked:

These Bug Buster scopes are top notch in anyones opinion. The mounts fir perfectly on my .22 lr, lever action rifle and my airgun the Q78 chinese. And the people at Pyramydair are the best place to make purchases from. They handle orders efficiently and very fast shipping. I highly recommend this vendor for sales and any other accessories or airguns that you want to buy.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Buy from Pyramyd, you will never regret it!

    Things I liked:

The dust cover caps are nice. I like that I can keep the optics covered when I'm not shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

I don't know that I actually need an Illuminated Reticle, but I suppose it's nice to have it just in case. The green light is VERY bright, even at the lowest setting. The red looks better to me and it can be turned down to very dim. UTG tells the user to remove the little button battery if the scope isn't being used for some time, which makes sense, but it's just something else I'll have to remember to do if I go some time without using the rifle. Otherwise, no complaints. I attached this to my new Air Venturi Avenger .22. The attachment was a little fussy with the quick-release mounts. You have to loosen the Allen key bolts juuuuuust enough to get the lever on the clamp to close tightly. It's all explained in the installation instructions and it wasn't too difficult to do, but I think I might have preferred a direct bolt-on mount instead. No biggie. It's plenty tight enough for a PCP gun and after my first 200 shots it hasn't loosened any.

    What others should know:

Once attached, I started shooting to dial in the windage and elevation adjustments. My wife was impressed that I put my first 10 shots in the center of the bullseye on my target... until I told her I'd shot all 10 at the bullseye ABOVE that one. HA! So the initial elevation adjustment was way off. I got it all dialed in and aligned to perfection. I like that you can then re-zero the dials once you have it set up. She shot a mag and did better than I did! That same day I shot two rats in my yard. Both head shots... one was looking towards me and I shot it through the eye. The reason I wanted this scope was its ability to focus down to three yards. I'm making shots from 15 to 50 feet and this scope is perfect for that. It is mounted on the aft rail and the eye to ocular lens distance is perfect for a nice clear view through the scope without losing the outer edges of the view. I'm very satisfied.

    Things I liked:

Price - You get a lot of bang for your buck with this little scope. Opening the box and handing the scope it didn't feel like a $100 toy. With quick release scope mounts, illuminated mil-dot reticle, flip up scope caps, and a sun shade included, I don't know how they make any profit on these. A lot of scope for such a small package and the clarity and reticle where much better than I expected.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, other than perhaps a caution about mounting such a short scope on some rifles.

    What others should know:

WARNING - This scope is just over 8 inches long so proper eye relief mounting this to your rifle may be difficult. I got a Gamo Swarm Maxxim 10X Gen II as a gift and wanted an inexpensive scope that was springer approved to try airgunning again. After a 50 year hiatus I found my 5MM Sheridan Silver Streak, which I bought 58 years ago, is not conducive to back yards or these old eyes. There was no way I could mount this short little scope and get the eye relief where it needed to be. I returned the scope and opted to exchange it for the UTG 3-12x44 Accushot full length scope (Thank you very much PA), a little more money but almost twice the length making mounting simple.

    Things I liked:

Warranty, qualify for the price, compact.

    Things I would have changed:

    Longer eye relief.

    What others should know:

This is a great scope for the price, but you have to know it’s limitations given it’s dimensions and price point. It is a very compact scope with a wide magnification range, which makes the parallax adjustment a necessity. Also due to that it will not be absolutely perfectly clear around the edges at various ranges, but with that said it is a very clear scope, especially at the price point. Another bi-product of the compact nature of the scope, the eye relief is quite short so mounting it in the correct position is important, which can be difficult given that it is so compact there is only one place the scope rings can be mounted. Leapers makes a one piece offset mount that solves this problem. Most impressive is the warranty. I bought this scope in Nov. 2012. Recently (Oct. 2020) the scope broke its seal somehow and filled with moisture and fogged up completely. They are replacing the scope at no charge and even offered an upgraded version.

    Things I would have changed:

AO is a bit tight to adjust. At high power the illuminated reticle produces a glare

    What others should know:

I am mostly writing this review to share the fact that the Leapers Accushot 1-Pc Bi-directional Offset Mount w/1" Rings, High, 11mm Dovetail Leapers Accushot 1-Pc Bi-directional Offset..., Fit this scope. I am using this mount to attach this scope to my Hatsan 95. I had trouble finding this info and wanted to share.

    Things I would have changed:

    Things I liked:

Nice scope for the money. The build quality is better than the price suggests. Don't fool yourself, it's not going to be the same as a $800 piece of glass, but it's plenty good. Reticle is a little thick, but it's not that bad. If you have trouble with eye relief, get some offset mounts - works great. Yes, it's a x32 scope. You know that when you buy it! It's small and light and doesn't add too much size or bulk to smaller guns (HW30s for example). Easy to zero, stays put. Would buy again (I also bought the 3-12x32, which is another great compact scope).

    Things I would have changed:

I like the flip up caps, but having a flip up on the spinning from AO element is a little bit wonky. I wish UTG would not include rings, we we could just choose our own.

    What others should know:

If you want a compact scope that punches in beyond it's price point, this is the ticket.

Excellent little scope. Clear lens, mil dot is crisp. AO works really well.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not much

    What others should know:

If you're thinking of putting it on the new 392s 0r 397s? It's not a good pairing! You will need a longer scope. I had it almost hanging off the baker mount, but still couldn't get a clear sight picture.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be better if it was 40 instead of 32.

    What others should know:

This is a great scope for out to 50 yards maybe even 75 yards , but out to 100 yards it doesnt zoom in enough, at least not for me. Its still a great scope for medium range.
