Things I liked:

Well, I nearly fell into the pellet gun rookie mistake. (I have twelve air pistols. Most in the $300 - $500 range. Shame on me for being impatient.) The first 50 - 80 shots were spread out haphazardly all over the 8" circumference of the target. I would shoot for the bullseye and hit the far top right or the far lower left. The gun was not just erratic, it seemed about as accurate as throwing a handful of pellets against the wall. My first thought: I got a lemon - return it. Then I remembered that break-in periods for air pistols take a few days, a few weeks, sometimes 500 - 1000 pellets. So I relaxed and shot about 200 more. Now the gun is hitting the center. Some tight groups. Others off a little. I'm using a Walther red dot, a vast improvement over the gun's natural sights. It's finally calming down, getting more accurate. My 4 star accuracy rating can change over the next few days/weeks. MY MESSAGE TO YOU: give the gun a chance to get a feel for itself. And a feel for you, too.

Things I would have changed:

A small thing: when you hold the gun in your hand (which feels great by the way. You get a nice, comfortable grip on it.) the plastic grip creaks a little due to the space between the inside layer of plastic and the magazine. When I am shooting, I don't notice it. Although it is innovative design, not wild about the mag design. Takes a lot of handling to load the pellet mag and load the CO2. Pellet mags should be sold separately instead of having to buy the whole mag/CO2 sheebang. But you know. overall, it is a nice shooting gun. For me it is all about accuracy. I am a target shooter not a tin can abuser. My accuracy will improve as the gun matures and as I become more accustomed to shooting a blowback. And I am 63 - a little shakier than I used to be.

What others should know:

Bottom line - take the leap if you're finding yourself constantly coming back to SA10 page. If the plastic grip was metal, the gun would weight twice as much. This SA10 will really grown on you. I am glad I bought it and stuck with it.

Things I liked:

The gun feels solid and well made. It's heavy, cycles well and is pretty accurate. It also looks good with the gold accents.

Things I would have changed:

Magazines and loading are awful!

What others should know:

I bought this SA10 partly because of the unique magazine with 24 round capacity. It seemed like a good idea but as it turns out, this is the absolute worst magazine setup I've ever experienced! It is difficult to load the individual 8 round mags and the BB's fall out the backside if turned upside down when, and after loading. It is especially annoying when moving the individual magazines to the upper firing position. The individual mags also just fall out of the clip if oriented facing downward! The magazine setup is frustrating, unnecessarily cumbersome, and very poorly designed. Also, the 4th plastic magazine is completely useless. I like Umarex products but disappointed that they would market a magazine this bad! It might be better with pellets but I didn't try using them.

The blowback is great and it fires good.

    What others should know:

The gun has failed when shooting pellets. I've tried 3 different kinds of .177 pellets and all 3 get lodged in the barrel. BBs work fine. But pellets do not.

Accuracy! For me I want a gun that shoots to its point of aim. When I miss the bull it's because of operator error and not the gun. The SA10 delivers!

    Things I would have changed:

The front sight needs to be highlighted.

    What others should know:

The SA10 shoots better than most replica airguns costing twice as much.

    Things I liked:

Good quality all around with a nice heft and feel. The magazine loading is brilliant and quite different from other pellet guns. I really enjoy this method of loading the pellets as it speeds things up. Blowback is very good and the pistol is quite powerful. Accuracy is amazing and I had no trouble hitting my usual paper targets within a 2" radius. Trigger is also very good, not too heavy and fairly crisp overall. This helps with the accuracy as the gun remains steady during the trigger pull.

    Things I would have changed:

Not a fan of the safety. It's stiff and hard to tell if it's engaged as there is no red marking. I'm not crazy about the gold internal finish, but that's just me.

    What others should know:

Very good buy for a super accurate pistol!

    Things I would have changed:

the tip to place suppressors (the measure)

    What others should know:

I have bought several suppressors and adapters and none of them fit, practically the tip is for decoration and the reason for buying the air pistol was to place a suppressor

    Things I would have changed:

Only thing I didn't like was the weak slide spring. The slide moved if I shook the gun up and down. So I replaced it with a stronger spring and it was fixed . The gun still works perfectly.

    Things I liked:

The weight and handling of this weapon is fantastic! I recommend seating the pellets for better power and less jamming. The fps is definitely decent for a blow-back pistol. Trigger pull is good, realistic drop out clip is nice, threaded barrel has so many possibilities!! Picatinny rail is a nice touch.

    Things I would have changed:

2 piece grips would be nice, would allow for upgrading to wood or rubber, think I might get a Hogue wrap-around grip for it. Tritium dot on front blade would be awesome. Adjustable rear sight would help accuracy immensely!! Just saying! Really don't have any serious gripes with this weapon. The safety was very difficult to slide at first, but loosened up after a bit. Might just be a fluke. I have owned and do own a lot of different airguns, have to say this is one of my favorites!

    What others should know:

For the price-point, it is one of the better guns out there. You won't be disappointed! My last purchase was the SIG Sauer X-Five ASP, and I was so extremely disappointed with that gun!! The fit and finish and overall quality of the SA-10 is not as good as the Sig Sauer or some other pistols, but the performance makes up for any aesthetic downfalls.

    Things I liked:

Its durable and easy to handle. Shoots fairly accurate and easy to load. The magazines can be swapped out fairly as well.

    Things I would have changed:

the magazines could hold the ammo (especially the BB's) a little tighter.

    What others should know:

It did NOT come with CO2 cartridge or ammo. I thought that was kind of cheesy and cheap of the dealer

    Things I liked:

Shoots multiple types of ammo well: pellets, lead BBs, lead balls. Nice blowback, crisp and tactile. Cool styling modeled after Salient Arms. Accuracy is good. Especially for a blowback, mainly due to rifled barrel and use of pellets. I like the spurless hammer. Good trigger. You have to get used to a long trigger reset so that you can allow for the manipulation of the rotary magazine but the single action is quite nice. Nice heft. Feels like a real polymer frame/ metal slide firearm in weight and balance. Reminds me of a Sig Sauer or H&K. Full drop out magazine. Unique design with the 3 rotary clips. A lot of fun. I have put around 1,000 rounds through it so far without a single jam. It is reliable and fun. I get about 10 clips (8 shots per clip) on one CO2 or about 80 shots. Thats good for a blowback that shoots around 400 FPS. The price is actually really good. A solid performance for under $100 is a real deal in blowback CO2 action pistols. I would recommend.

    Things I would have changed:

Honestly cant think of much to change. At first I was thinking make the rotary clips out of metal, but thinking it through, the plastic material is perhaps what allows for multiple types of ammo to be held in place by tension.

    What others should know:

Ive owned 3 blowback CO2 pistols. I have had the Walther PPKs, the Tanfoglio Witness 1911, and now this SA10. Blowbacks will eventually fail, break, etc, due to the abuse they take by the operation of the reciprocating slide. But the fun factor and realism is worth it to me. And every time one fails, I get to them purchase and try something different. Its hard to say how long any individual gun will last. It depends how often you shoot. But they seem to have a lifespan of 5 to 10 thousand rounds in my experience. So, for me that might be 2 years or so as I shoot very often. About 5 days/week on average. This SA-10 seems solid so far and I am hoping for at least 2 years out of it.

    Things I liked:

Super realistic blowback. Gun just looks cool.

    Things I would have changed:

The thing starts to jam after a while. And when it jams, it destroys the 8-round clip. WHY IS THERE NO OPTION TO BUY REPLACEMENT 8-ROUND ROTARY CLIPS??

    What others should know:

Okay airgun enthusiasts, I absolutely sung the praises for this gun for quite a long time. It has many amazing things to like about it. But the one deal-breaker disadvantage which renders this gun a paperweight is the fact that NO ONE SELLS THE 8-ROUND ROTARY CLIPS! YOU MUST PURCHASE A NEW MAGAZINE TO GET MORE CLIPS! I started having pellet jams after awhile. And clearing jams with this gun is a serious matter of trial-and-error. When a pellet jams stuck, you have little other option but to wiggle back and forth the rotary clip till it allows the clip to drop free. And in the process, the little 8-round clip more often than not, severs in-between the pellet casing, thus rendering the clip useless. Once you rack up enough broken rotary clips, you have no other recourse but to buy a whole new magazine. You cannot just but the cheap little clips. I've searched high and low. I refuse to buy a THIRD magazine. I am left with a VERY EXPENSIVE PAPERWEIGHT.
