This gun is NO fun! Being sarcastic, this gun is awesome!. I like the changeability of the gun, as soon as I received it, I installed the Saber Tactical Chassis and looks great. When I said this gun is no fun I met the accuracy, sited it in at 20 yards (first outing) and its mad one ragged hole, with 5 shots, hit everything I aimed at. The stock was well made and did not feel hallow. cocking is smooth and I will be changing it to the left side. The regulator is easy to adjust, as I just watched Tyler's video on adjusting it and was super easy. I also purchased the .177 tube bullpen version, .22 and .25 were out of stock but i purchased the .22 caliber kit. CHANGEABILITY!!! :)

If you're thinking about buying this gun, do it. I owned several air guns and this one is a keeper.

Awesome accuracy I've shot a variety of different weight slugs and pellets and so far I haven't had any issues with any of them it has plenty of power I like the modular design and the adjustability it makes it much easier to make it suit your individual needs

Charging handle gets caught on clothing while using a sling that's really my only issue to make it less likely maybe make the end of the charging handle curve in towards the stock and lay flush against it

This is my first pcp and I haven't used the first gen avenger but I think it's well worth the money and anyone looking for a budget friendly pcp will be very satisfied with it

Being my first PCP airgun, the fit and finish are superb. I have the 177 and when you find the pellet that it likes, lookout. Mine shoots about 3/4 inch groups at 50 yards. That's with Benjamin 10.4 pellet and JSB 13.4 slugs.

Make the stock lighter and take the front hump out.

I got the avenge x in 22 cal for Christmas. I have other break barrel air rifles so this is my first PCP. What a difference. The avenge x is hands down the most accurate and powerful air rifle I have. Out to 40 yards and I'm getting groups under half an inch. In January I ordered the other two barrels .177 and the .25 caliber change kits. For the money the avenge x is the best value for a first PCP air rifle.

I wish it wouldn't take so long to get the barrel change kits (.177and 25 cal) I ordered back in January.

In particular, I got the rifle because it can be switched to left hand firing. The stock has a great fit for a synthetic stock. Overall light which is nice for long days. The action is smooth and the adjustments were easy enough to do. Making adjustments are easier to do on the synthetic stock for sure. Very accurate.

The adjustable stock "pad" is not really all that great. Other than that, the rifle is excellent.

Great rifle. You could honestly spend hundreds more for less.

I love this rifle! It’s well made, user friendly in terms of tuning and maintenance, and shoots dime sized groups consistently! Out of the box it is very accurate. It’s also very quiet, especially with a moderator.

The magazines. Don’t like ‘em! I also don’t like the cheap plastic baffling surrounding the barrel. Metal would be nicer!

I purchased the .177 caliber Avenge-X with the classic synthetic stock. It's extremely accurate with very close shot to shot velocity consistency. The externally adjustable regulator setting, hammer spring and transfer port make this a very flexible gun. The trigger is two-stage adjustable. The shot count is excellent, magazines are in expensive and I really appreciate the high degree of adjustment on the cheek piece. I then purchased a 25 caliber barrel separately and a 25 caliber probe as the caliber change kits were not available yet. So now with the 25 caliber barrel and probe installed I have the same great things to say about this in terms of velocity consistency and accuracy. I'm happy that Pyramyd offers the 10 for 10 test prior to shipping the gun and I recommend that.

The first two I received from Pyramyd air head completely downs from a full tank of air. The first one I quickly returned to Pyramyd Air and the replacement came quickly. With the replacement had the same kind of leak I couldn't detect where it was but again it went from 4000 psi to 3000 psi overnight. I returned that one to Air Venturi for repair. Because of the Christmas and New Year's holidays it took about two weeks to get my gun back but Air Venturi was very responsive and tr support is excellent. Air Venturi said that they couldn't find any leak when they check the gun out. Fortunately I documented the leagu with photographs, but nonetheless, Air Venturi was great and didn't charge me for the repair. I purchased the 25 caliber version and has been the best bang for the buck of all the previous rifles that I've purchased over the years. So many possibilities for different setups it's amazing. I can not be happier with this rifle so far. I've put roughly around 500 rounds through mine, so far over the past couple of weeks and haven't had the first problem. When I received mine the package was nice no damage, major plus for me. Haven't had any air leaks but I did have a tiny regulator creep but after doing an adjustment I haven't had that issue anymore. 55 yards (back yard range) definitely not a problem for this rifle to stack them in to that beautiful bullseye we all want to hit. All in all I'm really enjoying this rifle I could go on for days about the quality of the rifle for the price. Wish I had more money to get a few more for the family and friends.

I feel like the barrel could use an extra brace to avoid maybe tweaking it when I'm in the woods.

Buy more ammo your going to need it because good luck trying to put this bad boy back down.

I purchased the Avenge-x in .25 cal and I think the gun is amazing. I sighted it in at 30 yards and it center punches the bullseye time after time. I usually shoot JSB 25.39 grain pellets but it also shoots JSB Hades 26.54 grain, and Air Arms 25.4 very well I haven't tried my FX pellets yet but I'm sure they'll do great. I shot it at 50 yards yesterday and after some scope adjusting I was able to shoot 5 shot groups about the size of a quarter. My regulator came from PA set at about 2400 psi, I haven't changed that but I did back the hammer spring off a couple of turns to shoot 25 grain pellets around 885 fps, they seem to do very well at that speed. I topped my rifle with an Element Optics 6-24 x 50 Helix scope which makes shooting very pleasant. The shot count is as advertised with about 60 shots per fill the way I have my gun tuned. Over all I am very happy with my setup and look forward to nicer weather so I can do more shooting.

I would like to see the hammer spring adjusting screw a little easier to access. It can be difficult to get a hex head wrench to line up with the adjusting screw, especially in low light. It's a small thing but would make tuning easier.

I was on the fence for a long time trying to decide if I wanted to buy the Avenge-x and I'm really glad that I did. If you're looking for a good quality air gun and a not to big price this is a good one to purchase. You won't regret it.

I wound up getting the dreaded reg creep after adjusting my reg for the first time trying to shoot the 25.39gr JSB monsters. Prior to adjusting it , it was "mint". Just messaged pyramid today to see what we can do to fix it. But as long as you take a "warning shot or warm up shot" it's def plenty accurate. Hopefully pyramid air gets me all fixed up!

The "gripping" areas on the classic stock are kinda smooth. This may affect your grip in wet or cold environments. I'm prob gonna just put on some paint on bed liner in these areas after the warranty runs out, lol.

Synthetic Stock, accurate, light weight, powerful, large mag, large shot count and the trigger is really good.

I emptied the air and turned the reg 1/4 turn, turned 3x on hammer spring. the reg set on 2000 and it sends a 19 gr. slug (i make my own slugs) at 910 fps. the rifle is fairly quiet, but with a good mod all you can hear is the valve being hit by the hammer. At 35 yds, 1 hole groups with slugs and crosman premier 14.3 gr. there is about 200 fps difference between the high and low setting on the transfer port on the same pellet.

Extremely accurate in .177 out of the box nothing touched. Mine was the synthetic stock, but it's a big leap from the old avenger. Add a moderator and at 1040 fps it is very quiet. Also being able to upgrade the stock in the future if I choose to is great. Would have loved the bottle version but I fill off a 74cf Air Venturi tank. With that said in .177 you get lots of usable shots. I have not counted but it's over 4 high cap magazines.

If you are on the fence about purchasing one of these then just do it, what you get for the price is great.

Gun has power, accurate, easy to tune. Like the fact it comes with a regular mag and the extra big mag. Shoots a varierty of pellets and slugs. Just need to adjust your scope when shooting different pellets/slugs . So far 4 squirrels, and a crow and all were laid out instantly between 40-50 yrds. Only had gun for two (2) weeks. Just as accurate as my FX Impact/Crown out to 65 yrds. I brought mine in the 25 cal and order the 177/22 barrel kits.

It's a little heavier than the original avenger, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Also, I can use my FX silencers on the avenger-X and it really quitens the gun down. Fits perfectly. Save myself a few bucks on that deal for a silencer.

I’m new to pcp rifle experience and so far being new to the game i feel I made the right decision with the Aveng-X. The gun has operated smoothly and as far as the accuracy like any other gun i’ve shot in my life depends on ammo and the shooter. I’ve use pellets and slugs in the 25 grain range and accuracy is very good. I can’t wait to shoot it some more to play with the tuning built into this gun. I purchased this gun because of price point and features of the rifle, it will perform my pest control nicely.

Be careful with slugs in the 22 cal.I had one stick.When I pulled it out I calibrated it.Measured 214.So I only use 216 slugs.The new jsb 33 gr.are to long for the magazine but shoot great using the single tray and max power

I am new to the pcp game. It is very accurate with the cheapest pellets you can buy at Walmart. Gun is pretty quiet. For as heavy as the gun is, it’s on the thin side. Gun is top heavy because of mounting scope high enough to clear the clip. All of this said, I absolutely love the gun! Getting lots of remarks and questions about it every time I take it to the range! So far, it is definitely a keeper!

Widen the forearm a bit. Forearm could use some grip ability added.

If you want one, call asap because there is a waiting list. I had to wait 2 months for this one! Also, it’s so new there is not a lot of info on it on YouTube yet.
