I've played and used plenty of air rifles and this one is one of my favorites. Shots true, and my favorite feature is that safety, because you always have to make sure that its off before you shot. Great way to teach shooting and respecting guns

Great deal, good for daughters first rifle. Easy to use, looks amazing, feels like my first .22. Little accuracy issues on target but they could be operator error and obviously not a whole lot one can do. Only downside, is the 'easy pump'. Not a huge fan of the long lever, purely cause I'm an adult, but daughter loves it. Overall good air gun. Highly recommend if you need a low power air rifle to teach kids basic weapons safety and usage.

I purchases this gun for my son, he loves it and he goes out daily to use it. My only frustrations are the multiple steps to load load it. I feel like the design could have been much easier.

Like the color and only takes one pump dont like how flimsy the pump is

Bought it to go shoot with my kids. They have Red Ryder BB gun's. This shoots great will get the Rosie for my wife. I love the automatic safety! Its great for kids

We bought the 1866 junior for our 11 year old son. My husband took him to a safe location with plenty of targets to shoot at, like aluminum cans and milk jugs. He had the best time and it showed us that he had a great eye. This gun will shoot pellets and bb's. You have to pull back the chamber this will show the bb going in, then pump it, pull back the hammer and you will see a very powerful shot. This is a great starter gun to train your children before they move on to bigger more powerful guns.

I love this little airgun, I've been hitting pretty accurate shots with it, and my little sister loves it too! Definitely worth every penny, I'd have given it 5 stars but the boxes the junior and the 1866 regular were too similar so I had grabbed the junior in my haste. Other than that, great gun, I love it.

It's a good looking pretty well made air rifle for the kids to have fun and learn on. They are so excited for all the fun to come. It's easy for them to use and light enough for them to handle on there own.

The junior model does not come with sight mounts, so you will have to find another way to mount your optic

Our new Barra bb and pellet gun has provided us with hours of fun. It's got a great look and feel to it. Also shoots really accurate.

I bought the Barra 1866 pellet gun just for my son and I to use target practicing. This is without a doubt my favorite BB/pellet gun I have ever owned. It's easy to use and pretty accurate and my son LOVES it. We will definitely be buying more!

At first when removing air gun I kind of had mixed reviews as the pumping handle was plastic and felt as it would break. After readying gun and shooting it with my 8 year old son, the rifle proved my first impression wrong. Gun was very accurate and strong. Rifle was way more powerful then the d#isy that I grew up shooting. You won't go wrong with this air rifle for a starter gun.

I was really only purchasing the Barra 1866 Junior because of the very sleek look it has. Upon getting it home and loaded and thus firing it at my make shift shooting range, I was very surprised at the power it contained at the one pump cocking. The ease of loading, cocking and firing makes this an easy user for a young shooter. I will be investing in a couple more for my family and I will be upgrading to the multi pump one soon.

I bought the 1866 junior for my son, he absolutely loved it. Bringing back the classics. At first getting used to the mechanics of shooting it was a little difficult, but after he got the hang of it, it became easy. I also appreciated the automatic safety button, that made it difficult to misfire

I love how u only pump the jr. One time. It's a great first gun for kids. Shoots great.

Over all it does seem to be a good gun, my son likes it a lot. Though there are multiple steps to firing it on the pellet function it is probably better for children for there to be lots of steps. Also although the stock is plastic it does make it light enough for children to carry easily.
It is very unique in that it shoots both BBs and pellets, my son loves that is does both.
