it's a light gun it's easy to pump but I only gave it four stars because honestly I think there can be improvements made first of all I must congratulate you for coming up with a very close design it looks cool it has a nice firing to it but with it being a pump gun I think it would be more realistic if you could make the design better by making more like a lever action think that would be really cool.

I love how this air gun features both bbs and pellets. But this gun is only for users who love air guns and are willing to treat it right. Overall I love how this gun can make you feel like a real cowboy or cowgirl, with the right outfit of course.

It's a fun design with a clean finish, and sturdy feel. I prefer pellets in pump rifles for the accuracy and velocity. And this rifle does deliver. Access for dropping pellets in the chamber is the only thing i would really want improving, bit its easily solved with a pencil style pellet loader

I purchased the 1866 for my son. I gave the gun 4 stars because of one thing. I wish the stock would have been real wood. I do wood work as a hobby and will be replacing the plastic stock with real wood soon. Other than that the gun is a work of art and shoots beautifully. Its easy for my son to pump and is pretty accurate. Im glad I made this purchase

Right out of the box it looked beautiful. As soon as I took it outside to shoot it it felt great, shot straight and had no problems. It's the best air gun I've ever bought.

Great purchase. At first thought it was gimmicky. But when I tried it out was impressed with the power of the air gun. Love the old school cowboy look and feel. Not too heavy but not like a toy. Happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

I really like the smooth action of cocking mechanics and the looks of the gun. Especially the octagon barrel. Really nice!

For an inexpensive air rifle this is no mere toy. From a quality standpoint I was pleasantly surprised. Although having a plastic stock I have to say the 1866 is fairly robust. I equate it to the first time I handled an AR A-2. Any prejudices are soon put aside. The power at 10 pumps is amazing. The open sights were accurate out of the box but I did add some color on the front sight to aid in getting a good sight picture (temporarily using a thin strip of bright orange duct tape until I get a paint pen). The length of pull I found to be a little on the short side for my sized frame but still quite usable. All in all, I would recommend the 1866. especially taking the relatively low cost into consideration.

This is a really good airgun that fulfill my expectations. It got some really nice metal parts with a good weight that feels pretty good. That only thing that didn't really convinced me was that not wooden stock (it is a really good plastic) and I expected that the bolt was metal too; besides from that it is a really good airgun and I'm thinking in buying some other barra airguns.
P.S.: Would like that the pumping mechanism was easier but it is good like it is.

But I like about it it actually shot but it doesn't hold air for very long like your manual says it says no more than an hour 5 or 10 minutes is gone
