Things I liked:

This is a great air pistol. For those of you that are firearms users I recommend you get one of these to help with your technique with shooting. Great accuracy

Things I would have changed:

Has an odd way of loading the pellet and for right handers the safety isn't very convenient. It is on the left side of the frame.

Things I liked:

Not much, sent mine back to Beeman, and they gave me a real hard time.

Things I would have changed:

Buy the HW40PCA instead. There is no point in trying to rescue the Beeman turd.

What others should know:

Mine was poorly put together, varied widely in MV (120-350 FPS over 100 shots, no pattern). Safety didn't want to disengage roughly 30% of time, edges of polymer pieces not trimmed and polished (lots of rough, sharp! edges...come on!) Buy the Weihrauch (HW40PCA), it's orders of magnitude better than this.

    Things I liked:

This gun is phenomenal tremendous accuracy. The trigger is unbelievable. I wish all my Pistols had a trigger this night. The chamber is tighter than the P7. If you shoot inexpensive pellets, they are harder to push in far enough. I made myself a little plastic pellet cedar. I’m shooting Norma pellets in the Gun just absolutely loves them.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing maybe the price

    Things I liked:

Everything accuracy fit and finish I have the Beeman 17 this is nicer materials

    Things I would have changed:

Make this gun in a PCP

    What others should know:

You would have to put a scope on the three and on the 17 and bench shoot it to be able to tell if there is a difference in accuracy but if you can afford it three is a better gun I have 2. 17s and 1. 3 trigger on the three is a little bit better but the triggers on the 17s are excellent also.

    Accurate, cheap to operate, fun

    Things I would have changed:

    not a thing, really.

    What others should know:

The Beeman P3 is fantastic. I bought specifically to practice at home (I have 10 meter range at in basement). This pistol saves a ton of money compared to going to gun range. It costs about 2.5 c per shot, compared to 12c for 22 or 40c for 9mm,. In only a few weeks this pellet pistol greatly improved my performance at the range with my powder burners. I have other pellet pistols that are CO2, but many times I only want to take 10 - 20 shots, so this pistol eliminates the need and pressure to burn through a CO2 cartridge. It is way more accurate than I can ever be. It is quiet enough for practice at home and I get 1" groups. I find the fiber optic sights to be a bit bright, but w/tweaks they are spot on. I shoot at 10 meter targets at 6:00 sight picture and this is almost always in the 9 and 10 rings, and I am beyond satisfied with that. I am a very fit and strong 58 year old retired guy, but cocking this pistol is definitely not for anyone without solid upper body strength. A keeper.

    Things I liked:

The pistol had enough power, it wasn't heavy, the sights were easy to use.

    Things I would have changed:

The pistol needs to be broken in somewhere between 150- 1000 pellets before the power and accuracy settles down. It shoots very high, about 2 inches at 10 meters, so maybe it is set up for 25 yards, I look forward to shooting my pistol after the brake in period ends!

    What others should know:

I live in Canada, so with the new strict laws for pistol ownership, this pistol is a good alternative to owning and enjoying shooting a real pistol. The 10 shot trial at the store with the pellet speeds may have helped it clear Canadian customs.

    Things I liked:

very accurate. well built. trigger is perfect. nice little "pop" sound

    Things I would have changed:

its not cheap. grip is a bit too smooth/ almost slippery. its too accurate, you will become bored hitting every target every time.

    What others should know:

paid $200 many years ago. still shoots perfectly after hundreds of rounds. get one

    Things I liked:

The trigger is excellent and the pistol is easy to cock and generally easy to load. Its not as loud as I anticipated; the sound level is comfortable in my smaller, two-car garage without the use of hearing protection.

    Things I would have changed:

I would prefer a rear peep sight; it would provide a more consistent sight picture in a variety of lighting angles. An option to not have fiber-optic sights would be nice too; that way I could have a thinner front sight blade which would lead to greater accuracy.

    What others should know:

The pistol currently outshoots me and I am looking forward to seeing how accurate it will get. For reference, at about 7m I am easily putting five pellets (Crosman) inside a 1-inch circle, but I have only been shooting it for a couple of days. I highly recommend getting one of the .22 LR bullet traps for indoor use with it.

    Things I liked:

A great pistol. Not cheap, but worth it. I have fired mine several times and I love it. It was hard to pump for the first few shots but is a lot easier to pump now. The trigger is superb. The gun is accurate, and far more capable than my abilities.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, other than the trigger is sensitive.

    What others should know:

The trigger is sensitive and thankfully the safety engages for every shot.

    Things I liked:

Very nice trigger. I like the "automatic on" safety each time the pistol is cocked.

    Things I would have changed:

Loading the pellet takes a little finesse - especially for someone with large fingers - not a lot of room to access the chamber.

    What others should know:

Takes some strength to cock/close, but shoots very nicely.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate @ 10 meter. you can mark some pluses on a page, go from one to the other, close center each shot off hand. Nice balance. Tricky to load at first, couple dozen pells, then piece of cake. Fantastic trigger. at least mine is, n got even better after a couple hundred wadcutters.I didn't find it hard to cock, maybe not used to the angle stroke. This is not designed for large vermin, cutting holes on paper, a ragged one!

    Things I would have changed:

    don't mess with it!

    Things I liked:

The gun is hard to cock and load a pellet BUT!!!! this gun is a joy to shoot. first gun in many years that I can shoot with just open sights. feels good in my hand and as others have noted very accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Not sure they could change any thing with out fixing something that is not broke

    What others should know:

The gun is what it is Hard to cock. hard to load pellets [hence the 4 stars] But again a blast to shoot I do not regret my purchase one bit

    Things I liked:

My # 1 Best Thing is, The Trigger pull,..Which is as light as a Feather!!,..The weight is right, and the Accuracy is excellent, Three shot groups @ 10 meters easily covered with a dime. This gun is built solid, the weight, the ," Feel ", of this gun says it is made to last.

    Things I would have changed:

Loading the pellets can be difficult right at first, but becomes an easy and natural movement with practice.

    What others should know:

I believe that this gun is one that will be in my grandsons hands one day, still shooting tight groupings and bringing smiles to all who get to shoot it.

    Things I liked:

Very consistent with accuracy, excellent practice pistol for training of trigger control and front sight focus. The long life of the o-rings with no care at all.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, learn to adapt the firearm in your hand, make it work.

    What others should know:

I have had this pistol for 15 plus years. It was getting very hard to cock. The issue was, that it has had over 22,000 pellets down the barrel and no lubing of o-rings. When I rebuilt it, the chamber o-ring was just dry. I did replace this seal, since it was apart. When rebuilding, I soaked the o-ring with Slick 50 ONE LUBE. It has never cocked so easy. It did take about 25-50 pellets to settle back in. Other air pistols I own, Beeman 65, Beeman 102, Beeman 103, IZH46 the trigger is just as consistent as all of these.

Very accurate and easy to get on target

    Things I would have changed:

The pistol is very cheap feeling because of the plastic handel and fake slide

    What others should know:

This pistol shoots best with 7 grain pellet not a hole lot of power at 400 ft. per second

    Things I liked:

It's a very accurate, well-balanced pistol. It is also much better made than the cheap P17.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. I'm used to the hard-cocking Beeman P1 and this is no worse.

    What others should know:

I bought a tin of Crosman Ultra Magnum, 10.5 gr. pellets because they were the only Crosman domed pellets I found. I wanted domed pellets because of the pellet traps I am using indoors. Unfortunately, these pellets will not reliably chamber in the P3. If you try to force them completely into the chamber they will be distorted or jam in the chamber. I'm betting that these pellets are 4.52 mm in diameter and the P3 wants 4.5 to 4.51 diameter pellets

    Things I liked:

Overall an excellent, accurate and affordable gun. The Beeman P3 is a very accurate gun and provides an accuracy level typically found on much more expensive guns. It is a safe gun, single shot and the safety is automatically engaged when the pistol is cocked. The overall gun weight, feel and hand grip are very comfortable for a variety of shooters - my wife, adult children and 3 grandchildren (ages 11 - 17) all feel comfortable shooting the pistol. The fiber optic front and rear sights are excellent and the rear sight is adjustable for windage & elevation.

    Things I would have changed:

Overall, I have not found anything about this gun that I have not been satisfied with. My only issue has been that while the gun is not to difficult to cock, over an extended shooting period my hand gets sore from pressing down on the ridged areas on top of the barrel. However, I remedy this by putting on a lightweight cotton glove - which completely solves the issue.

    What others should know:

This is an excellent, accurate and affordable gun. I liked the first one I bought so much that I bought a second one and both have been excellent.

shoots a bit better than the p17 (beemans under 40 dollar Chinese clone). Only time will tell if its worth the 5x price tag. Super accurate, fully adjustable rear sight with a super adjustable trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

The pistol grip could be a bit beefier,I find it a bit small for my hand.

    What others should know:

In the beginning cocking and loading this gun will give you a bit of trouble, but within a few weeks of use you will not believe you had such a hard time of it.
