Discovery: Small, lightweight. Excellent handling for fps this puts out. Pump: No issues.
Things I would have changed:Barrel seems flimsy, accuracy is not bad, but not outstanding. Larger capacity air reservoir (double it so you can get 50 shots no problem).
What others should know:It took me a while to get used to this rifle. There were minor issues that became non-issues after I experimented a bit.
1) Difficult to load pellets with scope attached - easiest way to load is to set pellet on flat next to chamber and roll pellet into position rather than trying to place directly into chamber.
2) Use high scope rings. Removed rear sight
3) Finish on stock felt "tacky", seemed to go away after some handling.
4) Need a pad to set gun on when attaching hose for pump up.
5) Pump up to 2200 psi, mid-to-high section of yellow on gauge.

Received my Benjamin Discovery just a few days ago and it lives up to all the claims you read about it. Light and easy to shoulder and great power and accuracy. I mounted the scope and set up a target at 20 yards then three shots to zero later I was putting pellets on top of one another with no problem. I had pellets almost blowing through a 3/4 inch pine board.
Things I would have changed:Maybe include sling studs.
What others should know:If you want to break into airguns or maybe just have been sitting on the fence about a PCP take the leap you will be amazed. The folks at PYRAMYD AIR are great. This is my second purchase of an air rifle and I bought my RWS Diana 48
combo from them last year which is another excellent rifle.

Things I would have changed:Make a provision to recharge before empty.Regular lens covers in place of flip open, mine flip open without any help have the same problem with other flip open lens covers.
What others should know:My rear sight was not locked in place and it almost fell off in the weeds before I noticed it.
If you are mounting a scope don't bother to adj.the rear sight I adjusted mine and it interfeared with mounting the scope,I had to lower it, time wasted.
45 shots per charge.

Light weight, simple design, easy to pump, fair number of shots on one fill, decent number of shots within 20 fps of starting velocity, for the money this gun is crazy accurate,
Things I would have changed:I moved my barrel band forward to be flush with the silver band just behind the fill cap and noticed an improvement in accuracy. Only shot it a few times before adding the aftermarket trigger which pulls and breaks like butter
What others should know:With regular Crosman Premier Ultra Mags 14.3 grain I can get all shots to touch at 25-30 yards and at 50 (because of added shooter error at that distance) all shots are easily inside a nickel or at least touching. At 100 yards all shots stay in a 3" group with same pellets.
Awesome velocity spread, mine starts at 866 fps with CPUM's, climbs 16 fps and drops down to 866 again over a 14 shot string. My Trail XL 1100 averages 900-905 with those same pellets! So this gun really does work for a cheap entry level PCP.
If you do some searching there is a site that sells .5" aluminum tubing with a .028" wall that fits the barrel almost exactly, I'm in the process of adding a barrel extension that will be ported on top for added looks and muzzle flip reduction

This gun is lite and swings fast for target aquisition.mine likes the crosman premiers and for a 177 it groups dime sized groups at 30 yards with an occasional flyer, I am to lazy to weigh and inspect pellets. more knock down power than expected. quick work on ground squirrel
Things I would have changed:Add extra barrel band. And a barrel spacer like the 2260
What others should know:Easy to pump to 2000, just pump slow and take a break every 50 pumps to let pump cool so it will last. 1200-2000 psi is about 50 pumps

I've owned my Disco for a few years. I have several air rifles, but my Disco .22 is the one I reach for when I want to hit what I aim at, and hit it hard. The gun can shoot .75" at 30 yards with Beeman FTS. It's also quite easy to smooth and lighten the trigger, especially if you're familiar at all with the 22XX airguns. Nice carbine length, pretty nice stock for the price, easy to use pump. No spring-gun twang or recoil. Easy maintenance, few moving parts.
Things I would have changed:The barrel band isn't the best. A couple of very thin shims inside the barrel band improved accuracy. The gun is *loud*.
What others should know:Summary: for the price, fantastic. This is all the PCP I need. Like I said before, of all my airguns, this is the one I use when it matters.

this rifle is so accurate hole in one at 20 yds 30 yds are dime size 40 the same have shot crows at 50 yds with crosman premeirs likes almost anything you give it
Things I would have changed:the stock although what do you expect for the price i added the kahuna stock pyramide sells for 115.00 that did it it is awesome and my barrel clamp is now further up front
What others should know:i had the benjamin super streak .22 shot over 1000 shots never shot the same with over 10 different pellets. then i invested in the discovery wow what a difference

Bolt action, accurate. stock is nice blueing is decent. The pump is easy to work with and the power is great.
Things I would have changed:METAL TRIGGER!!! maybe a bit lighter too but its not bad.
What others should know:I have worked on my rifle thoroghly and have made it into an excellent shooter. THe day i got it it chronod air arms 16 gr at 700 fps. I was really anoyed that i got a lemon but instead of returning it i built a power adjuster. now i get 10 shots with the air arms pellets from 930-945 fps with outstanding accuracy. i mounted a harris bipod on it and if you use this in combination with chairgun pro a free trajectory software(google it) you will be able to reach out farther than you ever thought possible. with chairguns information i made a custom scope turret that allows me to dial up any range i need. accuracy at 100 yds is darn close to MOA and and at 50 yds 3/8 is the norm. The longest shot i ever made with the gun is 150 yds. any further than that the accuracy deteriorates quickly. for what you pay this is the best value in a pcp. some european guns like the s410, the falcon line and other models will get sub MOA at 150 yds but cost 3x the price. highly reccomended product.

light weight, simple, very powerful and accurate rifle. i have had mine almost a year and have not reviewed it so far because it seemed redundant to add yet another this is the best deal ever review to the pile. but this rifle is just that good.
Things I would have changed:i was very pleased with this rifle except for the stock, which was too short for me. ( i'm 6 feet even so not that unusually tall or long armed for an adult) i replaced my stock with a handmade one which suits me better, but replacement furniture will cost nearly as much as the rifle if you don't have the skill or tools to make your own.
What others should know:this is a very good long range plinker. tin cans at 100 plus yards is not too much to ask.

The stock was ok
Things I would have changed:A barrel that doesn't flex with every viberation. An air storage system that doesn't leak. This one holds air for less than an hour. Not what was advertised. Sent an e-mail as per manufacturers instructions and never received an answer.
What others should know:I will never buy another product from this manufacturer for myself or for my grandchildren. If the bad product was unusual the company would not have ignored my e-mail.

The accuracy is amazing with groups inside of a dime at 30 yards with JSB heavies. There is also plenty of power for small/medium sized game. The pump works perfectly as well.
Things I would have changed:Put another barrel band on the rifle.
What others should know:It is definitely worth buying, but if you do buy another barrel band for it online. Since there is only 1 the barrel can shift and throw your scope out of alignment very easily. If you decide not to get a second barrel band make sure you set down the rifle very carefully after you're done shooting. Also, don't believe people when they say the pump will break on you; if you take it slow and don't pump for more than 5 minutes at a time it will last you forever.

The Benjamin Discovery was double boxed and packaged well and was a pleasant surprise. I had seen several comments about the appearance of the rifle. The stock is not the most expensive walnut but it was a nice looking stock. There were no blemishes on the stock or the blued barrel. Assembly of the pump was easy and the quality was evident.
Things I would have changed:The only thing I would like to see added would be from the manufacture. Detailed instructions on the maintenance and cleaning of a PCP air rifle. PCP guns are not supposed to have regular gun oil used on them. A list of the proper materials would have helped.
What others should know:This air rifle is very accurate and need a good scope to reach the full potential. It is noisey and may cause some difficulties in town but I am in the country so it is not a problem. If you need a quite gun, the Marauder is a better but more expensive choice.

It is a decent gun for the money. Preformes good. the size and weight is nice. will make a good hunting gun.
Things I would have changed:Put a metal 2 stage trigger on it, or at least a metal trigger on it. Put a screw on fill cap. THe loading prort is a bit small. I feel gun should last a life time and with the plastic parts I am not so sure about the Disco lasting that long. Seems that the price is a bit high for what you get as compared to other PCP'S. I think alot more people would use PCP'S if the price was more addordable.

Very nice gun, extremely happy with it, maybe 5 pumps per shot, variations in pressure is not that critical. Nice air gun, well worth the money
Things I would have changed:It would be nice to have the pellet opening more to the side, with a scope on it, kinda tight getting a pellet in, not bad, but that is all that I would change

Bundled pump. 2,000 PSI fill pressure (easy to pump!). Cheap! Short and light. Big scopes on this rifle won't make the package too heavy, and it is powerful enough, you will want a big scope...trust me.
Things I would have changed:Needs better bluing, and wood work. Trigger group is awfully cheap, and doesn't fit with the rest of the rifle's "presence".
What others should know:The report on this rifle is medium loud. It is a powerful air rifle, after all.
This is an ideal entry-level PCP rifle. It is cheap, so banging it around in the woods shouldn't raise an eyebrow. For the performance it has, the price is an absolute bargain. Benjamin/Crosman really hit the ball out of the park, with this one. If memory serves, Tom Gaylord helped with the design of this unit.
It is very accurate, given its low price point. I would buy 6 more tomorrow, if I could afford it, and give them as gifts for family.
Minor cosmetic issues are forgiven, because of its economical price tag. Buy one! Heck, buy two!

This rifle is very easy to carry, does not weigh too much, for the price it looks very good.
Things I would have changed:For this price in a PCP what more could you ask for, except make the loading port or should I say the bolt to go back a little farther to have a little extra room to load a pellet.
What others should know:This is a very nice air rifle for the money,it already had some air in it I would guess because of the Ten for Ten.I pumped it back up to the 2000 psi which was not very hard(I followed Tom G.suggestions on pumping). To pump from 1200 to 2000 is about 40 to 45 slow pumps, which only takes about 2&1/2 minutes, for reference I am 5'7" weigh 146 and am 59 yrs old.In the 10 for 10 my rifle averaged about 870fps with rws14.5.At a 2000 fill my average for Beeman FTS 14.6 was 850.3fps and 23.54 ftp.H&N Bar.21.14 was 728.6 w/24.93ftp.with good grouping. With the H&N from 1600 to 1200 my ave.was 738.3 fps w/25.5 ftp.(best group). After shooting this rifle and repumping it I almost wish I would of went ahead and bought the MROD instead.I was a little leary about refilling with he pump but am not now.Just follow Toms suggestions on pumping and you will have no problems unless you are not in very good shape or are smaller than me.

I like almost everything about this gun. This is my first PCP and coming from a Gamo Big Cat I am amazed with this gun. The accuracy is great, dime sized 7 shot groupings at 50 feet. I bought the gun in .22 caliber and it is more powerful than the Big Cat. The range is great too. Accurate up to about 75 yards with light weight pellets. The pump is nice and easy to use. The trigger is the best I have ever used. Almost all metal construction.
Things I would have changed:I would have liked the trigger and gaurd to be made out of metal.
What others should know:This is probably the best gun for its price. Get it in .22 because the .177 is too weak to be accurite at a distance. .22 pellets don't cost much more anyway.

EVERYTHING--This is the most satisfaction I've ever gotten from a rifle in this price range. I've now put over 2,000 shots through it with not a single problem, not even a jam. Accuracy is stunning. The pump is excellent and easy to use (and for me good excersize lol). It's good to see this quality at a price this low.
Things I would have changed:I really can't think of anything regarding the gun but for the pump perhaps a slightly longer hose by at least 3 or 4 inches - I think the wood & finish on the gun looks quite good. I've read complaints about the plastic trigger but I actually like it - I would of course prefer a metal one but this trigger is very comfortable as it is.
What others should know:If you have easily annoyed neighbors:It's a little loud but they do sell shrouds (noise dampeners) elsewhere online. Because of this gun I'm considering both the Katana & Marauder for future purchase. My rifle seems to love Barracuda Match by H&N

Power and accuracy. Still have not put it on a bench yet to fine tune.
Things I would have changed:Rear sight, not used to fiber optics. is difficult for me to quickly align sights
