    Things I liked:

The accuracy and the zero recoil are the main things I like about this air rifle. I used to own a Gamo Shadow 1,000. The Gamo used to kick off my mounted scopes after five shots. However, I have not had this problem with this rifle. I sighted my 3-9 x 40 Centerpoint at 30 yards. I could place a target at 60 yards and still get a solid grouping of five rounds in a two inch diameter circle. Crossman Hollowpoint rounds are the best and the .177 cal has the best ammo choices: Gamo PBA gold plated, RWS plastic, Crossman Hollow Point and Magnum (10.5 grains). You can pump the resevoir with air and leave it in for days without firing problems. PCP is the ideal air rifle and this one is a good start.

    Things I would have changed:

The dovetail rail system I definitely would change. I never had a problem with it with this air rifle, since it has a threaded hole to secure the front ring of the scope. I wish it had a picatinny rail system because these systems are so stable for optics.

    What others should know:

Get a scope with this air rifle because the fiber sights on the rifle are good for short distances. The fiber sights are not adjustable. I would reccomend a good 9x scope.

    Things I liked:

This thing's a shooter, very accurate, good trigger, and good looking , too. The service was great. I tried about 10 brands of pellets. The 14.3 gr Crossman hunting pellets are my choice (domed). Excellent accuracy and performance in the wind. I put a low mount 4x scope on it for hunting and added a sling. It is perfect, and made in America!

    Things I would have changed:

Not a thing. I'll know more after a season or two.

    What others should know:

The degasser tool is over priced, but it is handy switching to co2 and back. The first pump-up took 120 stokes, after 30 shots it takes about 80 strokes to recharge. It's louder than my old spring gun, but that's no big deal unless your neigbors are crabs or you're doing something nefarious.

    Things I liked:

I just got my new Benjamin air gun and found it packaged very well, with every thing as ordered…. It took me about 170 pumps to bring it up to pressure… I found the zero to right on, the crow magnum seem to be the best hitters so far but the hollow points do a very nice job as well….. The fit was very nice.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock was les than great, looked like it had been sanded with 80 grit paper….. the good news is that when I called Crosman they said they would send a replacement ASAP… find it kind of hard to load with the scope probly would be better with high scope mounts

    What others should know:

This thing is a bit loud not 22 loud…. Also it hits hard! Go’s through a ½ inch plywood back stop @ 25 yards so make sure your back stop is in good shape. This is a small riffle but I am able it quite well and I am 6’4”…

Accuracy and power is great. in .177 five squirrels at 80yrds attest to it, do your part and the Discovery will do its part.

    Things I would have changed:

    Things I liked:

The Discovery was my first PCP (like many of you) and has been among the most accurate rifles Ive shot. Its relatively small size and light weight makes it easy for smaller hands and children but is not so light that it takes away from its balance or feel. It took about 100 pumps (give or take) for the first fill and I was able to get about 30-40 solid shots out of it before I noticed a difference in velocity. While the first discovery I received had an issue with the barrel the replacement came very quickly and I could tell Pyramid Air had inspected the second one for any issues. My discovery has since proved itself to be an extremely accurate and fun rifle. Its not too difficult to fill and yields sub-dime sized groups at 25 yards effortlessly. My Discovery really enjoys the H&N Barracuda (21 gr.), JSB exacts (13.43 gr. and 18 gr.) , Crosman Premiers, and especially the cheap Crosman hunting pellets. They all have given me pinpoint accuracy and chronied from the mid-high 700's to the mid 800's on a full reservoir.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much, a better trigger and maybe a slightly larger or differently shaped stock. Neither of those are what I would consider an "issue".

    What others should know:

You will love this rifle. It is 100% worth the money and the ideal intro into PCP rifles. Buy it now.

    Things I liked:

By far the most accurate air rifle I have ever owned. I'm getting dime sized groups at 60yds in an indoor range. The leapers 3 to 9 is a deadly combination.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger pull is a little stiff but I'm learning to adjust.

    What others should know:

Crosman preimeir domed pellets are the best so far. The folks at pyramyd new what to hook me up with and the service is second to none! All my springers are going to the dump!

    Things I liked:

Light weight, easy to charge with air or gas, simple bolt mechanism. Mounted optics on this one. It has a grooved "receiver" that readily accepts the proper scope rings. Accurate. Maybe not paper competition accurate though I suppose with more time and pellet types this opinion may change. Certainly hunting and field comp capable. Money for the rifle and pump is a good deal.

    Things I would have changed:

Add a front barrel band? That's really about it. Love this for teaching the children basic marksmanship, but with air it is a bit loud. CO2 is the better option there.

    What others should know:

The muzzle blast is approaching .22lr loud with full air charge. Not quite earplug level but close for the un-initiated. (no bullet crack, of course) Plan on CO2 for the indoor stuff. Buy the degassing tool. Especially if you decide to dual fuel, which I happen to think is the only way to go.

    Things I liked:

Price for value! Accurate. Pushes eunjin 28 grain pellets with good accuracy to 25 yards easily. 30 plus full power shots per fill. Light weight. Easy to fill with the pump. Good enough stock for what I will be using as a utility rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

One more barrel band. Include the degassing tool standard.

    What others should know:

I got the .22 cal version with scope, case, pump, some pellets, and ordered a variety of other pellets. It seems that the Disco likes the heavy 28 grain Eun Jin domed pellets and groups them well. The 14.3 grain Discovery hollow points also group fairly well. My Disco doesn't like the H&N 21.14 grain match pellets at all! I thought those would work well and the pellets do seem to be very well formed but the best group I got from them was 4" at just 25 yards! Wow! Also bought some Gamo Hunter impact 15.43 grain pellets. Those are just plain junk and a 6" group at 25 yards is the best you can expect from them. The Discovery package is a good deal if you are not already set up for PCP.

    What others should know:

Cameron, at Crosman, finally contacted me about the gage problem on the gun. Seems my original trouble ticket got lost in the holiday shuffle. It happens, no big deal. She is sending me a new gage to install so I don't have to ship the gun back and warranty will still be good. I could have exchanged the gun with Pyramid, no problem, but I liked the way the stock on this gun so I was hesitant about sending it back and waiting for its replacement. Thanks to Pyramid, anyway, for having a great customer satisfaction exchange policy!

    Things I liked:

EVERYTHING - Accurate, light, powerful! The pump is alot easier than I thought it would be - I'm getting about 30+/- powerful shots from 2000 PSI. Have yet to try it with Co2 which will give you more shots. I've read a few reviews below about the quality of the wood/finish etc but mine seems to be pristine & beautiful! Easy to read air pressure dial. I also LIKE this trigger, I know it's a heavy plastic but was really pleased by the feel - I also prefer the slightly heavier action of this trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

Wish it had come with swivels installed like the Marauder & Katana do but they're easy enough to intall on ones own. Almost sounds like a .22 rimfire, needs a sound dampener.

    What others should know:

Install some sling swivels and get the UTG bi-pod - awesome combo. Like me you may also have to remove the rear sight to install your scope but it's very simple to do.

    Things I liked:

For the price I like everythig about this air rifle. The accuracy is awesome. I have the .22 cal. Benjamin Discovery with the Center Point 4x16 x 40mm scope and high rings and the accuray is mind blowing. I am using the benjamin discovery .22 cal pellets and I see NO reason to spend the money for the more expenssive stuff. My gun will easily put 8 shots into a group smaller than a dime at 25 yards, and yes it is a true 25 yds. measured with a nikon yardage pro 800 , range finder.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger could be metal intstead of plastic. And it would be nice if it were a little quieter.

    What others should know:

Probably too powerful in .22 cal. and too loud for close quarters city dwellers, but is great for country folks.

    Things I liked:

Light weight, accurate and a good buy for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger would be the main thing to change. Plastic is OK but the trigger return spring is to heavy , the pull could be lighter (perhaps 31/2 lbs) and a trigger stop would be nice. Perhaps a built in degasser as well.

    What others should know:

If you're looking for a rifle with a bright blue finish, you'll need to spend more for a PCP gun but, it may not shoot any better. You could consider the Marauder? It's a step up from the Discovery but the Discovery would be the better choice for a field piece, i.e. lighter and less expensive.

    Things I liked:

Affordability and I can fill on my own with the pump easily upto 2,000psi.

    Things I would have changed:

    Lighter trigger and power adjustment.

    What others should know:

I have a trigger and a power adjustement screw mod added and it shoots like a dream. I've ran a .177 and .22 barrels on it. I mainly stick to the .22 barrel nowadays. It's a lot quieter at lower power settings for indoor shooting with a higher shot count. The discovery is awsome as is, but for tuners an exceptional value. As is, it's would probably remain a hunting rifle for me. If you don't want the hassle or expense of tuning it up, then I would recommend the Marauder. Also, mine likes the predator pellets. Also, if needed, a second barrel band mounted up front can help with accuracy.

    What others should know:

It is important to know that these come without a walnut stock. Several websites still show them as walnut as do the box they come in. Mine does not get the shots they say I should and I am still evaluating it. So far, it has been a great squirrel gun.

This gun is by far the best I have purchased to date. Extremely smooth to shoot, easy to pump up. I got the 22 cal. version, and so far it is very accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Would like it to be a little longer gun, but no way is it a problem the length that it is.

    What others should know:

If You are considering your first pcp gun, You will not be disappointed with this one. If You mount a scope You will be driving tacs!

Accuracy is very good with right pellets. The rifle feels good to hold. Stock looked good and was nicely finished. I find the trigger to be fine as well. I really enjoy this rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The bluing of the barrel was less then average. Very uneven and spotty.

    What others should know:

I am shooting from a bench rest at 10 meters. Beeman Laser did not perform well. RWS R10 and H&N High Speed performed well. RWS Meisterkugln, at a much lower cost, wasn’t quite as accurate but pretty close for the money.
