    Things I liked:

I am very impressed with this rifle. With very little effort I have been getting sub 1" groups at 50 and 60 yards. Also punches through a 2x4 at 15 yards. Should make a very effective hunting rifle. It seems to like JSB heavy pellets best.

    Things I liked:

My first Marauder purchase was a .177 with Crosman barrel. Vey accurate. I purchased this in .22 cal Lothar/Walther barrel. This combo takes accuracy to a whole new level. This gun came out of the box tuned to shoot 18.13 JSB at 890fps. With .241 accuracy at 30 yrds. Fit and finish perfect. Upgrading to the Lothar/Walther barrel well worth the price.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I was considering a purchase of an FX Dreamline or Brocock Bantam. I decided to try the upgraded Marauder at far less money. Very satisfied with my decision. Thoroughly cleaned barrel and coated with some Ballistol prior to mounting my Hawke Vantage scope. Less than 10 shots to sight in at 30 yrds.

    Things I liked:

Excellent air rifle. Great accuracy and very quiet. Nice to use when in an area such as Miami where people are not so accepting of gunshots going off next door. Seriously the most quiet air rifle I have ever seen and very accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine is a little tricky and hard to get use too but review a couple you tube videos and you should be fine.

    Things I liked:

I HAVE HAD MY BENJAMIN MARAUDER (SYNTHETIC STOCK) FOR 3-4 WEEKS AND HAVE PUT ABOUT 3-400 PELLETS THROUGH IT. IT IS VERY ACCURATE WUTH CROSMAN AND OTHER PELLETS EXCEPT WADCUTTERS. THE TRIGGER PULL AS IT CAME OUT OF THE BOX IS ABOUT PERFECT FOR MY TASTE. IT IS HAND PUMP FRIENDLY UNTIL THE LAST COUPLE OF STROKES. I FIND THAT FOR ME IT IS GENERALLY BEST TO SHOOT BETWEEN ABOUT 2800PSI DOWN TO 1000. THAT STILL GIVES ME A GOOD SHOT COUNT AND IS JUST A LITTLE EASIER ON MY 70 YEAR OLD BODY. I THINK IT A HIGH QUALITY , STANDARD OF THE INDUSTRY PCP AND WOULD UNRESERVEDLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANY ONE THAT WANTS A GOOD LOWER PRICED AIRGUN.

    Things I would have changed:

THE ONLY THING I WOUULD LIKE IS TO HAVE A MORE ROUNDED SHAPE FOREND, AS WHERE THE LEFT HAND GRIPS IT. NOT A BIG DEAL.

    What others should know:

IT IS AN AWFUL LOT OF FUN TO SHOOT!

    Things I liked:

You can believe almost all the reviews. This rifle is just what we all say it is, I tried scenco pointed pellets I tried gamo rockets, J.S.Bs, Crossman ,Benjamin H.N Crow magnums H.N Sniper magnums and more. This rifle is NOT pellet fussy and ALL my groups were m.o. raccoon brain the best were predictably J.S.Bs crossman & HN Sniper magnums. I'm a little disappointed in the sound of this excellent rifle, usually with something as powerful as this you get a very satisfying CA BOOM, didn't happen all it did was a little metallic fart. Power is impressive, a five shot group with the Scenco ( steel) tips and the Gamo Rockets both PENETRATED my road sign back stop! I bought Pyramid Air's premium package and I'm happy with it so far. Americans are getting flabby and spoiled, that hill hand pump takes some work but nothing we real men can't handle and it fits in the side pouch of the carry case with the rifle and lots of pellets.I bought extra magazines and I'm glad I did as they seem to be

    Things I would have changed:

the weak(magazines) link, two of them broke on me but the EXCELLENT staff at Pyramid Air took care of me in rapid and very effective manner(thanks again guys)

    What others should know:

Order extra magazines and be gentle with them, I broke mine (my fault) loading them wrong.FOREWARNED if you get one of these you will be "springer spoiled" and that will likely be followed by an abundance of s--t eating grins and downed game

    Good gun.

    Things I would have changed:

PYRAMYD is putting "Material: BJ MARAUDER 22 CAL LOTHAR WALTHER BARREL" on the tracking label on the outside of the box!!! First rep I talked to said no way does PYRAMYD do that , but the second rep that was female said that PYRAMYD might do that if regulations require it since it is " limited quantity" hazmat with compressed air and then ultimately hung up on me. I dont think the contents should be listed on the outside of the box for security reasons AND it's probably the reason My box was opened before I got it at my door!!!

    What others should know:

My box was opened and the RIFLE was taken out of the most INNER most box and the STRAPPING TAPE was already cut on the BENJAMIN logo box ! It was carefully retaped but the tampering was evident. Maybe it was ATTEMPTED theft or a "hazmat" content inspection by UPS because the box understandably had a "limited quantity" label. The fact the tracking label outside the box said "B.J. MARAUDER 22. LOTHAR WALTHER BARREL" , and that I can't get 2 PYRAMYD reps to agree if they so marked the label is what bothers me - especially being hung up on by the female rep! I have to say that I will want to buy high value products from a more discreet shipper or at a local store. The uncertainty created when I realized the box was TAMPERED with is worth paying more somewhere else. The RIFLE is good to go even though somebody handled it after it left PYRAMYD AIR.

    Things I liked:

Adjusted the port, spring and throw length to the values on my other two Marauders. Results were consistant at approximately 875 fps with an 18.13 grain JSB. Accuracy is great and probably slightly better than the other two Marauders. Get 40 plus shots per fill.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate with the Lothar Walther barrel. At 50 feet almost every shot touches, well within a dime with 50 shots using about 1000psi. Very quiet, sometimes the squirrels stick around after the 1st shot, neighbors never notice. Easy to use, can't wait to try it at 100yd paper target.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing unless a bit lighter.

    What others should know:

This air rifle far exceeds my shooting abilities. If I miss, I know it's me.

    Things I liked:

Exceptional accuracy! I've only sighted it in at 25 yards, but this gun is a tack driver using crosman premier dome pellets in .22 caliber. It will shoot dime-sized groups (at least my gun will) from that distance between 2000 and 2600 psi.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see a more durable finish on the barrel and gas chamber, but I suspect that not having a better finish keeps the price down. I'm worried about shooting it in inclement weather, but probably still will and just wipe it down each time.

    What others should know:

This is a great PCP air rifle in my opinion for the price. I use a 3-9X40 centerpoint scope on mine. It could go higher and be even more accurate. The gun seems to be able to outperform my abilities as a shooter.

Very accurate. Once centered I can hit a circle the size of a dime at 30 yards 5 out of 5 times. Easy to use. Great for Iguana hunting. If you can see one, its done for.

    Things I would have changed:

Gun is too heavy. I bought a monopod to use in the field.

    Things I liked:

This PCP rifle is not only very accurate but is very quite, it can be shot without bothering anyone from in your home if your are shooting in your basement to even outdoors. I have never fired this rifle beyond 25 yards and the accuracy is exceptional, but what I like the most is the quietness of the air rifle. My wife use to complain about the neighbors but now she does not even shooting in the base with my grandchildren.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing a great rifle

    What others should know:

Pyramyd Air is a great company to do business with, especially if you have a problem with anything you purchase from them as long as you do not abuse the product. I would strongly recommend Pyramyd Air to any air rifle or hand air gunner. There support team is excellent and I cannot say enough about both.

    Things I liked:

I like the power, accuracy, and that one gets at least 30 consistent shots on a charge. It zero'd right in with the scope that came with the packaged deal. It is very quiet. The loudest noise is the pellet hitting the backstop behind the target. The trigger is smooth and consistent.

    Things I would have changed:

The bolt action is a bit stiff and has two stages of pull. The first, easy part puts a pellet in the chamber. The second, much harder part enables the trigger to release the compressed air charge. Initially, it was difficult to know if I had pulled the bolt back far enough. So when I went to fire, nothing happened. After pulling the bolt back a second time, it fired two pellets. I am getting used to this, but would it not be better to have the hard part of the pull at the beginning of the stroke? Also, I think that I would prefer the option of open sights. I do not think that I am ever going to be shooting squirrels at 100 yds.

    What others should know:

This is my first PCP airgun. I was curious if it would live up to expectations - it does. I would not buy a normal .22 rifle again.

    Things I liked:

Took it to the local range and sighted 8t at 25 yards to start. Running JSB diablos through it I was getting tight groups with my elbow on the shooting bench. If I were sitting this thing would he a tack driver. Plenty of power out 3 magazines through her with no noticable drop and oh so quiet. The pellet hitting the target is louder the the discharge. Very well made and cant wait to get a chrony to tune it! It's a little heavy when scoped but not as bad as carrying my Walther talon magnum.

    Things I would have changed:

11mm dovetails are meh. Would watherbsee this come with weaver or picatny rails. Perhaps supply an adapter. The edges on the cheek rest are sharp. Need to run some sand paper to take the burs off. Otherwise wouldn't change anything.

    What others should know:

Wont be disappointed with the Marrauder. I'm glad I went for this over the "entry level" rifle I was looking at.

Havent been able to shoot it much so far, but for what I have done I love it, One ragged hole groups at 25yards and blowing through 3/4inch plywood seems great so far

    Things I would have changed:

Make the forend a little stiffer, Lengthen the Jose on the pump so I dont have to lay my gun on the ground to charge

    Things I liked:

The accuracy, adjustable trigger, the stock and the easy maintenance. The magazines are nice to and very reliable their also cheap so if you want to buy spares you don't have to spend a lot of money.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing other than Crosmans packaging. When I got my gun it had dust and quite a few minor scratches on it.

    What others should know:

Right at first the bolt might seem to stick a little bit but the more you use it pretty soon it is as smooth as butter. Also with age the gun seems to get more and more accurate. I am able to get half inch groups at fifty yards using JSB 18.13 grain 22cal pellets,I even split a playing card with it at thirty yards. Also the gun looks heavier than it actually is it doesn't weigh as much as you think a gun of this size would.

I am a 78 year old handicapped person. Hand pumping is hard, but doable. Accuracy is very good and is quite comfortable to shoot. Noise level is low enough to not bother neighbors. With small varmints if you put the hole where you should, they are quickly dispatched.

    Things I would have changed:

Would like a single stage trigger.

    What others should know:

Spend the money you will not regret.

    Things I liked:

I needed a .22 quiet enough to shoot off my deck without letting the neighbors know. I like the power and consistency. It's not as quiet as I thought so I did some simple modifications. Other than that I really like the gun, it's definitely well made, has plenty of power and should it last a lifetime.

    Things I would have changed:

It's not quiet enough out of the box for my needs. I live in a Suburban neighborhood with at least a half-dozen houses close enough to hear the crack of an airgun so I added some modifications to it. I installed a Hill de-pinger and a Hill8 LDC Suppressor and I purchased a shorter Shroud, a from Hill Airguns, so the rifle wasn't as long with the suppressor on it. Now it's perfect. I stand a few feet inside the door and shoot at a little metal pellet trap about 50 yards back into the woods. The only thing anyone can hear is the ding of the pellet hitting the metal! So, in the end, I got exactly what I needed. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet airgun that has lots of power. With a little extra money and some simple modifications, you can make this quiet as can be.
