    Things I liked:

I learned to shoot on this gun. I hold this exact model responsible for the fact that all durring my minitary service when I carried an m-16, I never once missed a target. Now I have given my crosman 760 to my nephew who is also beginning to be a great shot. This is a rifle that lasted a generation and still firing strong. It's a testament to doing a job right in the U.S.A.

    Things I would have changed:

I recently bought another of these. Other than fiberoptic front sights, nothing has changed on these guns. And I wouldn't change them. they are just fine for a beginner.

    What others should know:

Buy one for your kid, he should grow up to be a top marksman.

    Things I liked:

I bought one of these when I was 10 years old, had it for 21 years, got into shooting all kinds of guns and the one thing I noticed is that price does not dictate quality especially if you like to go out wandering to destroy bottles and cans if you. I'm going to put this in the must have catagory of so society collapsed and this is a much needed item such as a SKS, and a 10/22lr or any good light 9mm. great buy for the money!

    Things I would have changed:

Instead of plastic use poly because it wouldn't be so easily broke, (if your not carefull), possibly a two way valve so that you could hook up co2 that would be awsome

    What others should know:

treat the plastic with care over time all plastic tends to get brittle

    Things I liked:

The gun is lightweight, fairly accurate without a rifled barrel, 5 shot pellet clip, fiberoptic front sight, adjustable rear, and easy to pump.

    Things I would have changed:

it is all plastic except for the pump mech, barrel andsome internals, was hard to pump at first but breaks in easily over the next 200 shots.

    What others should know:

good gun for price, treat it well, dont drop it, oil it about every 300 shots and use straight pump strokes and never pump it more than 10 times. add a tasco 4x scope and it is quite accurate.

    Things I liked:

Great buy for $30. Excellent starter rifle for the kids. Provides just enough power to make things fun for adults as well.

    Things I would have changed:

Pumping effort is high. Would make it a bit more easy.

    Things I liked:

Excellent buy for 30 bucks. Accuracy is very good with pellets, have not shot BB's and this is from someone who also shots an AA Tx200 mkIII. I use a scope also.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the pump lever longer so that it pumps easier. Make it so you could load a single pellet without a clip.

    What others should know:

I am shooting JSB Exact Diablo pellets, these normaly contribute to accuracy in most air rifles. Order extra clips with the rifle, they are cheap and quick and easy to load. Keeps you shooting longer.

    Things I liked:

Nothing, for the price it has, nothing else could be ask. Very ligh, compact and easy to handle.

    Things I would have changed:

Add a rear adjustable manual sight, like the old times.

    What others should know:

This is a very good intro to young airgunners, precision isn't bad at short distances. It is very selective with the pellets, I have tried Gamo match, Crosman, Daisy, but mine likes Crosman Premier Hollowpoints. If you are going to buy one for your kit or youngster, don't forget to buy a lot of ammo and an extra 760 for you, it is very addictive recommended for the whole family.

    Things I liked:

Being one of the best selling pump guns out there, it is what it is. It's a bit rough for young shooters to charge it up for a shot, but it's accuracy is good, there's no recoin regardless of pumps from 1-10. Other than that, all I can say is it's a good practice gun for a young shooter. I perfer it over daisy guns which have a reputation to critically jam where a crosman will out perform it year after year.

    Things I would have changed:

After all these years, there's not much to change on a proven design. It's still the same gun I learned to shoot with when I was a kid.

    What others should know:

It will last long enough with proper care to pass father to son for generations.

    cheap.

    Things I would have changed:

Unfortunately, I purchased one of these guns in 1966 when they were all wood and steel. Can't load one pellet at a time so if you lose the clip, you're done loading pellets. I'd rather pay more money for the old model.

    What others should know:

My two kids love to shoot cans with it and for them I guess it's OK. That's why I bought it.

    Things I liked:

I bought the remanufacured unit. Its great. It came with a few scuffs on it so you dont have to worry about messing it up. For the money you cant go wrong. This gun is easy to use and the five shot pellet clip is great.

    Things I would have changed:

The sights are terrible. Get the scope.

    What others should know:

For plinking or small rodent control you cant beat this gun for the price.

price was good ,light ,good feel,on target love front sight . went with 760 because you can use both bb and pellets , rifled barrel you will mess up using very many bb.

    Things I would have changed:

wife has trouble pumping rifle don,t know if theres anything that could be done to corect this unless using co2 don,t want that.

    Things I liked:

PRICE!! The 5 shot clip is great (contrary to my expectations.) The small stature and light weight of this gun make it fun to hold and shoot. I've loved the look of the skinny barrel since I was a young teen in the 80's.

    Things I would have changed:

The fiber optic sight: While it seemed cool in theory, it's impossible to shoot up to the gun's potential, because the front sight is just too bulky. The old standard front sight would be a better choice for precision in my opinion. This would also not compromise manufacturing costs, of which I'm sure every penny counts at this pricepoint.

    What others should know:

Pumping takes minimal effort after you find your method. Rather than holding the gun near the grip, I like to place the palm of my off hand on top of the gun just above the breech near the center of the gun. This is possible even with the 5 shot clip. Then I pump with my other hand, and finish the last 15% of the stroke with the heel of my hand. This seems to minimize cramping. I bought this rifle for a coworker this Christmas. As soon as we opened the 760 box, the high powered spring rifle we normally shoot found a spot in the corner, as everyone now awaits their turn with the 760. This would be a good first time rifle, but it's also a great buy for airgun enthusiasts who just want something simple to take them back to the fun of plain old plinkin'. I had the 760XLS wood model as a teen, and it met it's end as a good gun when I sawed off the stock and the barrel in an attempt to make it look like a shotgun. FYI for the younger readers...... do not modify your guns in irresponsible ways. Take care of your stuff, and keep it forever. A day will come when you would love to have some of your old stuff back!! Thank you Pyramid Air, for the wonderful resource you provide airgunners!

The size and weight makes this rifle perfect for smaller teens or adults who are learning to shoot. it is def the best air rifle in its class and its affordable and well worth the cash.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing i would change idc about the fact that it has a plastic stock and pump grip its 40 bux..

    What others should know:

This is a good rifle for beginners. i have since moved on to spring piston 22. cal pellet rifles. BUT this was my first gun and i loved it. def worth it.

Best value on the market. Most versatile BB/pellet gun ever made! 12 million customers can't be wrong.

    Things I would have changed:

    Can't really think of anything...

    What others should know:

Light, inexpensive, vevy accurate. Even with a smooth bore, Crosman Pointed pellets stay stable in flight. (to at least 25 yards, as far as I've tested yet). Buy this gun, it is tons of fun!

    Things I liked:

Nice power for a starter rifle. It can easily take out an aluminum can from a good 20-30 yards. BB resivoir made it possible to not have to reload very often, which i think is a plus.

    Things I would have changed:

I would give people an option for a wooden stock.

    What others should know:

If you push the out out as far as it can go (without breaking it of course!) and pull back hard and use the momentum of the initial force, its really not that hard to pump.

    Things I liked:

This gun was very accurate out of the box and the bb resevoir held a massive amount of bbs. The pellet clip also allowed you to shoot rather quickly with pellets as compared to many of the other brands. The durability is also great.

    Things I would have changed:

Most of this gun's exterior is made of plastic and the bb's are hard to chamber sometimes. If you lose the pellet clip pellets are pretty much out of the question.

    What others should know:

This gun has great value for the money and will hold up to nearly an abuse you force upon it, although I'm not suggesting that you abuse it. Hope this helped!

Very accurate, very simple internals, extremely reliable. The AK47 of airguns.

    Things I would have changed:

    Wooden handles instead of plastic.

    What others should know:

I gave mine a 4x32 scope. I also made custom wooden handles for it, replaced the barrel with a rifled one from a Powermaster 66, replaced the comression chamber with one from the same Powermaster 66 because it had a broken o-ring after 20 years of not being touched in my grandfather's closet. I inherited my 760, great gun when it was made, great gun now.
