    Things I liked:

Well made accurate gun that's fun to shoot. What could be better fun shooting plus a workout with this pumper.

    Things I would have changed:

Plastic breech and sight aren't the best but work well enough. It would be nice if there was a scope mount on it.

    Things I liked:

Love just about everything about this airgun. The size, weight, and accuracy are perfect for a "take anywhere" plinker.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock sights are the only weak point. The front can rotate on you and change the windage. Most people will add a steel breach and scope it, so that's not much of a factor. I'm going to make some quality iron sights for mine on my mill. It just seems more appropriate to have irons on such a small, light gun.

    What others should know:

Out to 25 yards my gun will keep all it shots inside a nickle. What more do you want from a $75 airgun?

    Things I liked:

Affordable price, .22 cal, easy to pump

    Things I would have changed:

Go back to the 14.5" barrel

    What others should know:

Out of the box it doesn't have very much power, however, after a few mods, the gun shoots at approx 750 fps

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice if it came with some pistol grips. Other than than that I would not change a thing.

    What others should know:

I put a red dot scope on mime and I Really like it.

    Things I liked:

Short, easily deployed and very accurate! Very pleased with accuracy and speed, my chrono shows a average of 480 FPS with 10 pumps and a 14.3 grain pellet. Quite impressive with such a small package!

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger is heavy but very easily fixed. Back pack is so small it is pretty much worthless, meant for a very small child.

    What others should know:

Targets and pellets provided are a nice bonus to a already very well priced package. Bought two more after the first because of all the mods you can do to this pellet gun.

    Things I liked:

I like the overall size & weight, and the Accuracy. I added the Steel Breech & a scope and can shoot one hole groups with Meisterkugeln .22 wadcutter pellets at 15 yards. Technique is very important -- the light weight + heavy trigger pull will throw the shot if you rush the trigger pull.

    Things I would have changed:

The Pump Arm is a bit short - it requires a lot of strength from a woman to pump it up, and she can get pinched. Crosman should drop all the "BugOut" kit stuff and instead put the Steel Breech on the carbine from the start. I would go back to the 14" barrel length and make the pump arm longer, & use the steel breech. Also, Crosman should go ahead and put the pistol grip screws in the carbine stock - the stock loosens up quickly, and the grip screws are needed. If I really need to remove the stock, having to use a screwdriver is better than having a loose stock -- I don't plan to be removing the stock -- the gun is extremely short as is.

    What others should know:

The Steel Breech is NICE. The bolt feels much better, & there is a lock screw that locks the breech to the barrel (in addition to the tight fit). The stock can be tightened up by installing the correct length of 6-32 screws -- just drill holes where Crosman has molded circles in the stock, and the part underneath is already threaded. If you find the right pellet and use good shooting technique, this little carbine can be extremely accurate. We got to eat more figs and blueberries this summer thanks to the extreme accuracy of this inexpensive little carbine.

    Things I liked:

I like ANY permutation of the 13xx line, and this is no exception, sturdy, easy to mod, powerful, accurate great new forearm, takes down and assembles well..I have had none of the "shaky stock" syndrome that some reviewers have mentioned.

    Things I would have changed:

Ummm, nothing really, it is at a fair price, and the backpack and other geegaws are cheap, but they work and can easily be upgraded --- especially the first aid kit and backpack. You probably have an old bookbag or laptop case laying around - use that to store the rifle and stock, either will give better protection to the sights and thinner parts of the stock casting, Add a couple of pellet pouches with your favorite pellets in 'em, add some military surplus hardware to the first aid, a couple of cliff bars and transfer whatever gear that is likely to get dragged through the mud to the Crosman pack and you're off to the races.

    What others should know:

In our headlong dash to buy expensive PCP gear, we often forget that virtually any springer or multi-pump gun can be modded for very reasonable money to exact humane kills on some pretty tough medium game, especially if we quit overlooking .20, .25 and .30 --- yes .30, PCP only at the moment, but, who knows. I myself will gladly leap into PCP when: the power goes up, the price goes down and somebody comes up with a 20 or 28 Gauge PCP shotgun, even a muzzleloading light steel shot trap gun.

    Things I liked:

This was my first .22 cal,I can stop shooting this gun. The kit is nice, I have used the bag to travel. The gun is quite, how the pump has a bit of a bang to it. I have put over 1000s rounds though it. The crosman pellets that come with are a good match. I can hit a pop can at 130 feet, if miss the pellet still has enough power to stick in to my wood target board.

    Things I would have changed:

I think that the pistol grips should come with or at least the bolts for the grips.A 500 round tin, instead of 175.

    What others should know:

The sights are not the best but still good enough, the stock does get a little lose, neither of these complaints are bad enough to keep me from buy another soon. I feel for the price I got a good deal.

I love this rig. Accurate, stout enough for most small game and handy sized.

I would have the Crosman steel breech and Williams peep sight mounted on it.

    Things I liked:

Fun black out powerful backyard critter eliminator. The kit contains a few extras like the backpack, a tin of pellets and first aid kit. This class of Crosman air gun has a who underworld of accessories. Simple easy fun air tool for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

It does take ten pumps to get critter knock down power for critters. Always flip the rear sights for aperture. Much better for target acquisition.

    What others should know:

It does take time to pump up for second shots on critters. It is important to make the first shot count.

    Things I liked:

Great gun for the price! Super accurate barrel and tons of upgrades available.

    Things I would have changed:

Lose the accessories and sell the gun separately for less.

    What others should know:

-Bought the 459MT intermount scope attachments and it doesn't fit well. There's a little space on the bottom of both sides because the barrel is raised from the pump, so with my scope on it keeps wobbling left and right. I guess I'll stick to the iron sights... not gonna take long shots with this thing anyway. -Also, the backpack is a bit smaller than dimensions given, basically a child's backpack. Not really useful as a "bugout" bag, but it holds all my air-gunning accessories fine.

    Things I liked:

Nice little carbine with pretty decent plinking accuracy. The accessories are pretty nice too.

    Things I would have changed:

Sights are a bit lacking. The standard pistol type sights suck, so I switched them around to the aperture style sight which made it a bit better.

    Things I liked:

Nice ergonomics, super nice handling overall. Trigger is about 6 lbs. but mine is nice and crisp. Very cool little package for under $100. I was pretty impressed with the accuracy right out of the box. Using RWS match grade wadcutters it was shooting a group the size of a nickel at thirty feet after initial sight on. Pretty good for a brand new gun in its first fifty rounds of shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

Rear sight could be precise. Otherwise it is a great little package!

    What others should know:

I would recommend this for kids and adults. It is no toy, but most suitable for targets and plinking due to low energy level. Very good starter rifle as it is light, accurate, and relatively quiet for indoor or backyard shooting.

    Things I liked:

The "Doomsday" concept adds a bit of "fun factor" to this package. The airgun/stock combo works well, and makes for an easy to carry, assemble, load/pump/shoot package. Accuracy is as good as could be expected for a short-barrel "carbine", and the .22 caliber adds impact on the target. I, personally, like the accessories, as it is nice to have a first aid kit "just in case", and the water bottle can come in handy when hunting or just roaming the woods "plinking" - the same is tru for the targets.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice, and fit the "doomsday" image better if the backpack was in "camo" or at least an earthtone (tan, green, or brown). Black is an un-natural color, and isn't good for the woods, etc..

    What others should know:

    Nothing I can think of...

    Things I would have changed:

I love the handle my friend has this gun and let me borrow it for a week I find that this gun is the better better quality gun rather then the 1322.

    Things I would have changed:

The kit is kind of pointless but my friend uses it for hiking. It would have been better if they toke the kit out and lowered the price.

    What others should know:

This is a good kit for hiking rather then a bugout kit, that's what I use it for at least. The backpacker is great and extremely accurate! Pyramyd air is probably one of the only places you can find it. They always have great deals!

    Things I liked:

This gun shoulders nicely and the stock allows for a very steady hold. The gun has a rather pleasant balance and handles like a joy. A really fun piece to tote around for plinking and varmit control.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock sights are, as I anticipated, rather inadequate. I ordered the steel breach kit with mine which REALLY increacses the flexability of this gun. I am waiting for the Crosman Mim sight to be available. That should put this gun on my "first to grab" peg! Until then a Bug Buster scope suits these eyes just fine. (Knocks hickory nuts off the tree at a really far piece, should do the same fer a squirrel)

    What others should know:

Pump grip is a bit noisy, OK if you are keeping an eye on a young'un practicing. A few minutes with a rasp and a bit of rubber tape sure fixes that with no visible change to the appearance. The catch for the wonderful removeable stock is, at first, a little sticky. Be sure to check that it fully extends. It will work better the more it is used. The stock sights work well for cans out to 20-30 feet, but as I noted this gunn is capable of really much greater accuracy with better sights. I'm no gunsmith, fer sure, and I put the steel breach on mine sitting in my easy chair in about 15 minutes including the time I spent pickin' up stuff I dropped cause I didn't read the instructions first. Think by now I'd know better.

    Things I liked:

I guess because my first airgun was Crosman's 760 Pumpmaster I have a penchant for pneumatics. I still love my 760 and wanted very much to have a .22 version of it. That is why I bought this version of the venerable 2289. I do plan to acquire a replacement barrel that is at least 8" longer to improve accuracy and ease of sighting. It seems like a fairly quiet gun and firing 22's is a blast in itself. I do want to replace the plastic stock with a fine quality wood one. I've been looking around on the Internet and there is some amazing creativity being done to this gun! It's a great start for customization! The so called "bug out" kit is a bit silly.

    Things I would have changed:

The barrel is too short. Forget the "B.O. kit" and charge extra for that really cool stylish skeletonized beautiful walnut stock and a nice 16 x scope. Charge $175 for that and you've got a sweet deal! What do you think P.A. ?

    What others should know:

Basically a really nice gun. Fun to shoot. A clever piece even so. Don't wait very long to buy this carbine. P.A. has lowered the price a sweet $10 .

The backpack needs to have a dedicated posket for the water bottle.
