The M4-177 is fun air gun. Its light and easy to pump. I like the plastic body because I don't have to worry about dinging or scratching it. The pellet reservoir is great. The scope is a basic scope - it does its job - sighting in was simple. I needed something to pester squirrels at the bird feeder without hitting my bird feeder and it does the job. I am surprised how accurate it is (BBs & Pellets). I like that I can pump it up a few times and just "sting" the squirrels with a BB. If I want to take them out it will do that to. The distance is about 10 yards. I am hitting water bottles at 20 yards - free hand.
Things I would have changed:For the price I can't think of anything to change. I have only had it for three weeks and so far so good.

Things I would have changed:Front lower mount is USELESS. Need to include extra pellet "holders". While scope and mounts seem to be quality I had to shim the mounts and scope to achieve any hits on paper. Maybe it's my rifle but....

What others should know:The front lower rail is useless. I tried putting a bi-pod there and you can't pump it. You'd think that would have been checked but nope.

I like the variable pump option, the adjustable stock, and the ability to choose from two different ammo sources.
Things I would have changed:There is a lot of plastic on this item, but I knew that going in. It is a little lighter than I expected.
What others should know:The combo with the scope is cool! The mounts are high quality aluminum and the install was easy.

Havent even gotten it yet. I decided to watch a video of someone shooting it, and only then did I figure out it was one shot every 10 pumps. Even the video posted on the page cuts out the parts where hes pumping in between
Things I would have changed:More shots per 10 pumps
What others should know:Very deceiving as far as how fast you can shoot it... I searched a video of someone shooting it... ONE shot per TEN pumps, not what it looks like.

The eight the feel although when you read the description and when you get it it won't have the carry handle bit it will have front and rear iron sights and scope

What others should know:Buy few extra pellets don't shoot BB through this only pallets and it will last longer

I just love shooting this gun.i ordered the carry handle separate just due to my own preference
Things I would have changed:the sight adjusting tool's flat blade deformed during the very first use, so that needs to be made more durable,also, I am a full grown man, the stock could be another 4"long.
What others should know:I suggest getting an extra 5 or 10 pellet mags to increase your shooting pleasure,and urge you to use the small peep hole sight to sharpen your shooting skills.now get ready to have a ball!

If you like the look of tactical, replica firearms, this gun is great - particularly if you add some accessories. I shoot primarily indoors, so the multi-pump doesn't bother me too much, since I generally only pump it about 4 times for each shot, which I would estimate puts it in about the 425 fps range. With the fixed, rifled barrel, accuracy at 10m is pretty darn good. So far, the CenterPoint scope seems to be holding up pretty well...it took me about 20 rounds to get it sighted in fairly well and hasn't seemed to drift at all after my first several sessions.
Things I would have changed:A little more heft might be nice, just to get a more realistic feel, but the light weight certainly makes it easy to shoot for a long period. I wish it included a swivel mount for a sling as well as making the attachment on the stock a little wider to be able to clip to. I used two 1" split key rings that I ran through the sling attachment points so that I could easily and quickly connect/ disconnect from these rather than risking stretching/breaking the plastic every time.
What others should know:For $80, you can't go wrong on this combo. I really like guns like this that shoot well above their price point.
