Description
If you like airguns that are faithful replicas of firearms, then the Crosman M4-177 is for you.
This multi-pump pneumatic looks and feels like an M4 firearm and shoots either BBs or pellets. That's a huge advantage over single-projectile airguns -- you can shoot whatever you have on hand.
Since it's a multi-pump, you can pump it up to 10 times to get higher velocities or less if you'd like to do some easy all-day shooting. The advantage is that just about anyone can pump and shoot this air rifle -- from kids to adults of all sizes and ages. Even better, the adjustable buttstock telescopes just a bit if you need a longer length of pull.
Steel BBs can ricochet. The shooter and everyone in the shooting area should wear safety glasses when a gun is being handled (even if it's unloaded). Remember to remove all pets from the area, as rebounding ammo can hit them, too. Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects (including metal targets) or water, as that increases the chance of ricochet.

Things I Would Have ChangedFront lower mount is USELESS. Need to include extra pellet "holders". While scope and mounts seem to be quality I had to shim the mounts and scope to achieve any hits on paper. Maybe it's my rifle but....

I like the variable pump option, the adjustable stock, and the ability to choose from two different ammo sources.

Havent even gotten it yet. I decided to watch a video of someone shooting it, and only then did I figure out it was one shot every 10 pumps. Even the video posted on the page cuts out the parts where hes pumping in between

The M4-177 is fun air gun. Its light and easy to pump. I like the plastic body because I don't have to worry about dinging or scratching it. The pellet reservoir is great. The scope is a basic scope - it does its job - sighting in was simple. I needed something to pester squirrels at the bird feeder without hitting my bird feeder and it does the job. I am surprised how accurate it is (BBs & Pellets). I like that I can pump it up a few times and just "sting" the squirrels with a BB. If I want to take them out it will do that to. The distance is about 10 yards. I am hitting water bottles at 20 yards - free hand.

Very solid . polymer frame...hate it when people say plastic
Things I Would Have ChangedThe ammo container...I put the magazine in the slot and I couldn't get it out. Had to wiggle it out. Tried the second slot same thing. No damage to magazine, but it sucks
