It has a nice feel and pretty good balance considering the barrel length.
Things I would have changed:I have always preferred open sights, especially peep sights, which this model provides, yet a lot of adjustment has to be made. Not as accurate as I had hoped. Maybe others have had better luck.

Variable power allows you to hit things light or hard depending on circumstances. The long 10.25" barrel has 10 land button rifling and is quite accurate with the right pellet. This gun is a great value and fun to shoot cheaply for hours.
Things I would have changed:A better rear sight would be nice, and the trigger could be wider. But these are minor and the gun is a great value, just get one.
What others should know:I opted for the shoulder stock which transforms this gun into a mini-carbine and helps improve accuracy with better control. I also installed the steel breech so I could mount a better rear sight or optic. The stock breech works just fine but to get the most from the accuracy potential of this gun you need better optics. The steel breech seems a better option than the clamp type mounts also sold for this gun. The gun came with free Crosman pointed pellets. These proved the most accurate after trying several other Beeman, H&N, RWS pellets.

I love the new design of the front and back grips.
Things I would have changed:I would not change a thing. Crosman was right on target when they designed this gun.....no pun intended.
What others should know:This gun is very accurate and well constructed. And you can't beat the price.

Sturdy, and well-made (shows what "Made in USA" can be!), Easy to load. Reasonably powerful and fairly accurate (with right pellets).
Things I would have changed:Just a bit more power. Screw holding rear sight a tad too small, easy to lose if not careful. Slightly larger peep sight.
What others should know:When I got this, because of the advertised velocity I thought it would be not much louder than, say, a 760 Pumpmaster. Maybe it's just mine, but this thing is LOUD-at the full 10 pumps, shooting outdoors, this little thing sounds like a Daystate Airwolf! Also, accuracy is interesting; at half power (5 pumps) at 5 yards using RWS Superdome pellets, I got nasty groups-2 (yes, TWO) inches between holes! HOWEVER, at the full ten pumps, with the same pellets at the same distance, was putting pellets through the SAME HOLE! A little odd, but still a good buy.

This is going to be a strange review for this pistol, it is a little out of the norm. When I ordered this pistol I had PA install the steel breech kit and I installed an AV Williams sight. I wanted a competition air pistol for backyard pleasure...and I really got one! The comfort is very good and it is easy to pump. The lines are smooth and the new weight is just perfect for the recoil. Accuracy? This combination proved to me that I made the right decision and saved money to boot. I sighted it in at 10 meters off a rest. When finished, I was able to fire 5 rounds, 10 meters off-hand into a 1 inch 10X. At 25 yards off-hand at a 50 yard smallbore NRA target I didn't hit the 10X, but I was able to put 10 rounds into the 10 ring, one group just below and the other just on the right edge. I ,haven't fired a handgun in 18 years... civilian or military. The caliber is .177 and all I used was Daisy Flat-nosed Pellets. I used 6 pumps at 10 meters and all 10 pumps at 25 yards.
Things I would have changed:More weight at the grip, it still has a little too much muzzle weight. The steel breech didn't off set as much as I thought it wood. Ditch the plastic grips and fore end and use a pretty rosewood and this pistol would be a sight to behold! The recoil is straight up like my S&M K22. Even with the heavy muzzle the muzzle points up when fired. Not a big deal after a couple of shots. You just have to follow through to keep it down. Now for the trigger pull.. Probably most would think it is tough to squeeze, And I can understand that for competition. But, for most people, trigger pull shouldn't be a problem. I used to compete in blackpowder comp. in my younger days and I hunted too, everything from a 36 cal. to a 69 cal. smoothbore flintlock. I learned not to think about trigger pull, it will just mess you up. Never anticipate it and your scores will go up. Proff. Competitors need a lighter one than this pistol haS.
What others should know:You really don't need to up grade with the steel breech or rear sight to enjoy this air pistol. A friend of mine has just the basic pistol and he might get another just to have it. It might sound crazy, but I don't regret paying more for the changes than the price of the gun. Again, PA was a great help in my venture.
