It's metal, it's realistic, it's to scale of the real McCoy. I purchased the 8" black Dan Wesson first, then just HAD to have the 2.5" and the 6" silver.

As with all these Aftermath Dan Wesson models, there's little I would change. I WOULD like to see Aftermath come up with some "wood look" grips for these Dan Wesson's, that can be ordered as accessories after purchase. These guns would look cool with them. And maybe a bit more positive means of closure of the grip. But honestly, i'm really grasping at straws here, thinking of stuff i'd change !

The 2.5" Dan Wesson model IS less powerful and less accurate than the 6 & 8 " models. And it's clearly stated in the FPS rating for this model. So be aware that coupled with the shorter barrel of the other DW models, this one should not be your first purchase if you want a Dan Wesson model. Get the 8 or 6" one, then get this one to add to your "collection !

Very realistic. Nice weight and feel to it. Easy to load Co2. Shot better than I expected it would for a 2.5" barrel. This is a very realistic pistol, with a very nice finish.

The Speed loaders don't work very well, It gets jammed up against the side of the pistol and leaves a few shells hanging out. The hammer is a little sloppy, it flops around a little when at rest. The shells flop around a lot in the cylinder too. These are minor things, but for $120, they stand out.

I purchased the 2.5" the 4" and the 6", and the 2.5" seems to be the best of the bunch. The barrel isn't a couple of separate pieces stuck together with a seam running down it like the others have, it's one solid piece of metal. I think it weighs more than the 6" because of this. The inner barrel is spring loaded and pushes into a recessed bevel in each cylinder chamber. It helps to rotate the cylinder between chambers before swinging it out. Also, the inner barrel needs to be pressed into the barrel frame when closing to make it a little easier to shut. I wouldn't flick it closed, the crane arm is just cast pot metal, which has hollow cavities inside. It's sure to break with repeated Dirty Harry jam it and slam it play.

s soon as Pyramyd offered these silver 2 1/2" Dan Wesson's the die was cast for me. I had to have one ASAP!!! Placed the order and SHAZAM a couple of day's later it was in my trembling hands. The little pistol was packed in a nifty OEM box - no plastic clamshell here! And the little box was so heavy I thought they must have included 2 pistols in my lucky box by mistake! But upon opening the lid I was shocked to see a single gleaming miracle of a pistol unlike anything I had ever seen. This metallic piece of awesomeness is just a beast and just a real treat to behold. The revolver's cylinder spins like a teflon snowball on wet ice and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

he trigger feels a little mushy but functions great and besides this wonder pistol isn't intended to win it's owner Olympic Gold medals anyway. A pellet version with a rifled barrel would be nice in a future version. It would also be awesome to have an 8" silver version to go with this sweet 2 1/2" thunder munchkin revolver.

If you love airguns then get one of these Dan Wesson pistols. Silver or Black - Long or Short - it's all good. Be sure to order some spare cartridges too along with some ammo and CO2 capsules. Wear your safety glasses. And don't display this pistol in public places or anywhere it could be mistaken for an actual firearm. Have fun but play smart & stay safe.

These ASG Dan Wesson's are totally awesome. I first purchased the 8"Black one,then as soon as Pyramyd got in the other models,I shot open my piggy bank with the 8", and purchased the 6"silver, AND the 2 1/2" silver ones without hesitation. ASG outdid themselves with these Dan Wesson's. They took it to the next level and beyond. And since these puppy's are hard to find, Pyramyd once again proves to be the only "go to guys" for airgun needs and wants.

The ONLY thing I found with these is, the cylinder stop that keeps the cylinder from coming off the crane post when the cylinder is open,should have been made a bit taller.

Be prepared to pass on your plastic air pistol(s) to a friend. You won't want them anymore, once you get one of these baby's in your mitts.
