I was of course first drawn to the gun because its design - the way it looked. Next was/is the oddly low price. They are such fun and so cheap, I now have 4 Bandits - 2 in .17 and 2 in .22!!
Things I would have changed:The grips are huge, even for me, and I have XL hands. I was able to order grips from an out-of-country outlet, and they are smaller and more comfortable.
What others should know:Not a $2,000 target PCP, but they are GREAT fun, and keep working like troupers. I've taken countless rabbits and squirrels with each one. Guns you could take the whole family plinking with!!

I am very happy with this air pistol. I like the PCP setup even though it has to be pumped up after about every third magazine of ammo I shoot out of it. It took me a couple of days to get used to it, and I ended up replacing the open sights with a red-dot I had laying around. From 30' I can put all 7 pellets into an area about the size of my thumbnail. The trigger breaks very cleanly and I am just loving this bad boy.
Things I would have changed:One of the magazines I bought seems to be causing the bolt to stick as it slides forward, hoping it just needs some more usage and will get smoother.
What others should know:For the money I don't think I could be happier. I didn't need some competition-grade gun but something better than the crappy old Crossman I've had for several years. Very consistent shot placement and just a pleasure to play with. I wish I could afford an electric pump to charge it but the hand pump is OK, I only shoot 20-30 times in a sitting so it is not a huge deal.

Everything from accuracy to power. At age 57 this gun requires very little effort to fill with my Air Venturi G9 hand pump.
Things I would have changed:Nothing

The gun is accurate,it can and does shoot reapeadily in the same spot.2, the look and the feel.3, Simple to use
Things I would have changed:The only thing I find annoying is the fact that it will only shoot arround 16 to 17 rounds between re-charging the air pressure. I do this via the hand pump
What others should know:Overall I like this gun very much, I own many other types of air guns, this being my first PNC , I think it is a good choice for an entry into this type of air gunning.

This is one of the best buys for your money. Accurate with a great punch. I tested it with my Crono and averaged 632 fps. I get 42 shots per fill. Really impressive pistol.
Things I would have changed:I would add a barrel ring just to be safe. Ordering one for mine. The barrel is long and this would be a great mod.

This is the very first PCP gun we have ever purchased, I did so for my wife whom is unable to practice shooting her EDC on our range due to the ammo shortage and we though that this would make a very nice facsimile for the trigger control and target acquisition she needs practice with. I have had many springers and pumps but had not made the transition to PCP due to pump/compressor costs along with inflated PCP gun prices. The trigger is adjustable, the sights while minimalistic, were right on and the reservoir is small enough to use a hand pump to top off without exhausting her. The bolt is stiff but is doable and as we left the section of tubing on the handle, it is also easy to grab and operate. Accuracy is not our top priority but from my Ransom, it shoots better than I though it would with a cleaned and fouled barrel, JSB Diablo Exact, 10 meters, hole in hole accuracy. Not too bad for a sun $200 pistol with plastic sights? My wife is ecstatic, she called her friends to shoot it!
Things I would have changed:Barrel band: That is why I have yet to buy the Storm, I want more support for the barrel. The grip is incredibly chunky, if I buy one for myself, I will lay this sucker down on my belt grinder and sand the sides down a good 1/4" to get rid of much of the "retro" grip and reshape what's left to suit modern design.
What others should know:Go with the .22, I see no reason to ever use .177 as its underpowered, susceptible to light breezes and does not have the weight to take small game past a few yards.

Everything about this gun is awesome for its price point. Power...ie...16 grain pellets leaving the barrel at 685 FPS from shots 6-15 is amazing, but the power doesnt drop off right away even from a 55 cc air cylinder. Accuracy...a mag will fit under a dime at 30 yards...all day long with most pellets...not pellet picky. Shot count...about 5 mags before needing refilled with air out to 30 yards.
Things I would have changed:The magazine needs to be like the Liberty's/Mauraders,Aspen,Freedom, and the Avenger. No backward loading crap for the first pellet/slug. Honestly...I personally hate those type of magazines. Every pellet should load from the front the first time...is it a deal breaker??? NO IT IS NOT!!! Still the magazine has not given me an issue whatsoever to be fair. Regulate this platform with the left handed bolt as is. Thats about it. The moderator works great, the power and accuracy is great for pistol distances. Listen for 180$ you are getting much more than what your paying for in the airgun industry. My advise...buy it and run. Mine is in .22 and I would also like to have one in .177 just because it has been that good over the 1-1/2 years that I have had it. No issues and the perfect truck gun.
What others should know:If you dont buy this and settle for a CO2 or pump gun pistol...you are doing yourself a disrespect. Hand pump fill in a minute, superior accuracy for pistol range shots, left handed bolt, 7 shots per mag in .22-.177 I think is 9 shots, 685 FPS with a 15.89 grain pellet, also shots slugs...FX Hybrids lights out just for giggles. Amazing value, amazing accuracy, more power than my Benjamin Sheridan 392 PA .22...and by the way if you dont know...that is a rifle! Yeah...a hell of a lot of bang for the buck and a terrific value of quality, accuracy, and power.

Wood handle, overall look and price.
Things I would have changed:I'd put the PSI gauge in a safer location and make the suppressor easier to interchange with the regular muzzle.
What others should know:Good value, comes with a magazine and a single shot slot loader.

Things I like the weight, the accuracy, the power.
Things I would have changed:Things I would change needs a rail on bottom for maybe a laser or a bi pod. The manometer should be someplace other then by the muzzle.
What others should know:air gunners should know this thing kicks butt, I hit a 6"x6" steel plate at 40 yards, at 20 years some really tight groupings.

Overall A lot of gun for the money. Seems to have pretty good power, have been using JSB heavys. Havent put a scope on it yet but the iron sights works well.
What others should know:First time ordering from pyramid air and was really disappointed as they sent me a used bandit. A bolt was stripped holding the mechanism to the grip and fingerprints were all over the thing. Look up reviews of their site, A lot of angry people recently, seemingly of the same thing happening.

Accurate, lots of shots per fill, pump friendly and fills in under a minute with my Hatsan air compressor.
Things I would have changed:No, its an absolute joy to shoot.
What others should know:People complain that it needs a barrel band. I don't find this at all. Very accurate at 25 yds and consistent up to about 40 shots per fill shooting .22 Crosman 14.3 hollowpoints, which also is much better than has been reported. I was considering a regulator based on reviews, but my real world usage has been so good I don't need the regulator. Also, not sure if they made the grip smaller, but its perfect for me. People were complaining it required large hands. I don't have huge hands and its perfect. There is nothing in this pcp pistol price range that can touch this gun. Absolutely wonderful gun.

Things I would have changed:Though this gun is very light, I would make the moderator removable.

The pistol feels good in my hands even though my hands are not large.Cocks and loads easy.It would be a good pistol to plink just as it is,but I did add a small scope. It is accurate out to 30 yards and probably farther.
Things I would have changed:Add a barrel support. The barrel flexes as it is.Include a standard air fill port. Why have a separate small part to keep up with?Make it part of the pistol.
What others should know:This is a very well made and nice looking PCP Pistol .I would buy it again .

It is very accurate, great sights, well balanced. Great overall air gun.
Things I would have changed:It was all I wanted in a PCP air gun. But quality control should be better. Mine did not come with a moderator and it was way to loud for in the city shooting. Had to return it.
What others should know:It is a great air gun. I am going to buy it again. It is worth the wait. Just make sure it has all the accessories.
