    Things I liked:

The weight is great, it gives this rifle just the right feel. Look out varmits

    Things I would have changed:

Possibly having my name engraved in gold on the stock would be nice!

    What others should know:

The scope is not installed properly and does take some time and trial and error to get it right. A instulation manual sure would have been helpful.

    Things I liked:

Good weight and balance. The accuracy and power is really amazing. It's almost as good as my Ruger 10/22. Very nice scope as well.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger adjustment screw seems pretty useless. In order to get to it without risking stripping it required removing the trigger guard. Turning it didn't seem to really do anything. Also, the safety placement seems really odd to me. I'd much prefer a button or lever that is more conventional.

    What others should know:

Accuracy and consistency are top concerns for me. The Whisper excels in that way. I get reliable 6" groups at 50 yards using H&N Field Target Trophy 8.64 grain round nose

    Things I liked:

I enjoy shooting this rifle - it has good power, and honestly is quieter than other rifles I have had in the past. I don't know if its the advertised 52% quieter but its definitely not as noisy. Also, I think the rifle is reasonably priced considering the power of the gun, decent sights, and durability of the rifle. All in all, if you're thinking about buying this gun, I can tell you I'm happy with mine.

    Things I would have changed:

Not a fan of the scope/mount but in this price range, I don't expect much. Easy to swap for a better scope/mount or use the open sights.

    What others should know:

Might want to consider the nitro piston version if you like the gun and don't mind spending a little more.

    Things I liked:

I got my whisper around 4 years ago when they wer still fairly new with their noise dampener. It was the first airgun I had ever seen like this. Naturally I had to have one. The week after I got it I used it to rid my mom's stocked fish pond of a nasty muskrat problem. I was having a tough time getting the scope to stay put so I finally tore the one piece mount off the gun and used the iron sights to get the job done. Since then my gun got new rings a laser and a flashlight. I'm hoping to get a chance this summer to hunt with it again.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing other than the one piece scope mount. I'm not a fan.

    What others should know:

Well built gun. Take care of it and it will last a long time.

    Things I liked:

It's an awsome looking gun. The suppressor mkes it look unique. Very quiet with lead pellets but as loud as my Marlin. 22 with pba.

    Things I would have changed:

Borsighting is impossible due to suppressor. Also not fond of the scope. I found it impossible to sight in over the supressor. The fiber optic sights are nice though

    What others should know:

I imagine with a bit of work the scope could be accurate. I hade mine for quite a while now and never did get around to sighting in the scope. I found a laser boresighter is impossible to use with it due to the suppressor. The laser can't get near enough to the barrel to get it to point in the right direction.

    Things I liked:

Light and powerful. Pretty easy to shoot accurately, and does not seem to be overly finicky about hold. Very light cocking force for a rifle with this much power.

    Things I would have changed:

Deserves to be packaged with a better scope with adjustable objective lens in the package. This is my first Gamo. Rifle locks up solid new, but lacks the ball detent of some of the competitors in this price range.

    What others should know:

Somewhat quieter at the barrel in a subjective side by side shoot shootoff compared to a Hammerli Storm, but "whisper" is a stretch. Out of the box, my rifle generated 714 fps with Crosman Premier .22 14.3g hollow points for nearly 16 ft lbs...that combined with the rifle's ability to be shot accurately should be more than enough for small game. Overall a nice rifle with quality and features commensurate with the price. Pyramyd offered it as a Christmas sale special and shipped it quickly.

The scope is not worth mounting, I could get better accuracy without it. The free binoculars are only good if you close 1 eye.

First two shots right out of the box.......two kills using PBA ammo, no adjustments, haven't even mounted the scope yet!!!!!! Love the feel, the suppresor, great gun.

    Things I liked:

Easy to get set up and start plinking right out of the box. Adjustable trigger pull. Easy to adjust rear fiber optic sight. Scope mounted onto gun easily and was easy to zero in. Fairly quiet for being able to push 1,200FPS. Nice balance. Holds pattern very well. Easy maintenance.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I would recommend getting a couple of Pellet Pens. Makes reloading the gun simple and easy to do with gloves on.

    Things I liked:

Powerful, accurate and quiet. Make sure you have a good backstop if you are using it in the back yard. I had to buy the dogs a new pool after my first shot went through an old lawn chair cushion and a 1/2 inch sheet of plywood!

    Things I would have changed:

Leave the scope out of this package deal. It is worse than useless. I mounted it using the included wrench, which merely stripped the screws, and was barely able to remove that piece of garbage. Put my own scope and mount on it, and it shoots like a dream.

    What others should know:

I cannot stress enough for anyone that buys this rifle to NOT use the included scope. It looks nice enough, but it is junk. Gamo should scrap it.

    Things I liked:

The noise dampner works pretty well. You cannot tell compared to a normal gun if shot with a pellet, but dry-firing there is a huge difference. The recoil is a bit strong at first but you get used to it. The scope works pretty well and is easy to zoom quickly if needed.

    Things I would have changed:

IF i had to change anything, it would be that it came with a different scope. the scope it had works perfect when zeroed but after a while the nobs used to zero it become very hard to turn. I have noticed that the scope can be unzeroed very easily and can be difficult to rezero due to the nobs.

    What others should know:

I've had this gun for a little over a year and it still shoots accurately. It's a great gun and looks pretty sick. The barrel and metal parts on the exterior do rust, but you cannot tell at an arms distance.

    The noise reduction system,

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

If you are using the PBA pellets then it will be louder, they are traveling 1200 FPS and that is faster than hypersonic! If you dont want is so loud use a lead pellet traveling 1000 fps still good velocity without the noise (GOOD JOB AWSOME OPEN SIGHTS)

The reviews made this appear to be a worthwhile purchase

    Things I would have changed:

    Better manufacturing qualtiy control

    What others should know:

This gun broke after a dozen rounds. If you buy this gun, make sure you use it before the 30 day no questions asked refurn period. There's a piece that looks like a bent coat hanger that apparently controls the cocking mechanism. Wonderfully robust design for a .22.

    Things I liked:

Less than 1" groups at 35 yards. Penetrates the pine tree about 2" at that distance. Using .22 cal Beeman pointed silver sting pellets. I am thinking of trying it on ground squirrels that my buddies are currently using varmint rifles on. Way cheaper!

    Things I would have changed:

Check the stock. Kind of heavy. How about half price. The rifle is worth the price but what the heck, if I get to wish....

    Things I liked:

Plenty of power on every shot, unlike CO2, quality build, nice weight and balance, easy to cock even though it says 30-35 lbs, once sighted in the scope is very accurate. The noise level is very tolerable, even lower than I expected.

    Things I would have changed:

can't think of anything. The pricing is a little high, but you get what you pay for.

    What others should know:

No this is a great air gun!

    Things I liked:

I have the .22 cal. I did like the cocking action. There was not much that impressed me with this air rifle. Everything was marginal. I guess that I am use to real rifles/ firearms. This really is just for kids. My intent was for backyard quiet removal of pests. Penetration / impact was not what others had claimed. I dont see this knocking off a bigger pest.

    Things I would have changed:

Dont get it made in China. Change out all the plastic crap including the bendable plastic trigger- what junk. Lower the price for what it actually is worth.

    What others should know:

At 30yards 2" groups and the occasional 3" stray. ( yes even on good bench rest and several different .22 ammo- same results) This just does not have the accuracy that any serious target shooter would require. I will keep exploring different ammo brands- if i discover a good one for this gun I will let you know. I can't say don't buy this rifle, because it does have its uses but be cautious here, as it may not be up to the hype that alot of people have claimed.

    Things I liked:

Shoots good groups with iron sights & bench rest. I added a laser, which improved the groups even more, at least indoors. It cocks fairly easy. I like the overall looks, weight, fit and finish. Several types of pellets shot acceptable groups. The safety is NOT automatic, so you do not have to move it to off for every shot.

    Things I would have changed:

The furnished scope has no paralax adjustment, and had to be replaced with one that did. I removed the laser, and the iron sights so they aren't visible thru the scope, which has low mount scope rings, but this wouldn't be necessary with taller rings. The trigger, which is metal, is harsh, with overly long travel, and heavy pull.

    What others should know:

Not "Whisper" quiet. More like fairly loud, but not enough to disturb most neighbors. I have the .22; the .177 may be quieter. It is good quality for the price. The GRT3 replacement trigger may not fit the new Gamos.

    Things I liked:

I like the light wieght and the feel of the gun in my hands. It seems to have a much ligher coulking effort then it does and the sound surpreser certinaly helps with that. It is extemly accurate for the price and it is much quiter compared to other air rifles.

    Things I would have changed:

Only two things I could think of. The scope isn't the greatest and setting the parlex at 100m is pointless on an air rifle. They should have set it around 35-50m or have it come with a paralex adjustable scope. The second is the triger, it is to heavy and long. It can be adjusted for trigger pull length but not the wieght.

    What others should know:

My friend has a quest 1000 and thier is a noticable difference in loudness. with the whisper being much quiter. It has been extremly windy here but i managed to get out one day when it wasn't to bad to site in the scope. At 25m from a bench with gusting winds (trying to fire between those gusts) the gun was grouping under 3/4in with crosman destroyers. Indoors at my house the furthest distance I can shoot is 15m. At this distance shooting offhand I can group crosman premiers into 9/16in groups. The triger is heavy but it is getting better with over 1500 pelets through it. If you are looking at getting the trigger updated to a grtIII make sure it is metal.
