We bought it for my son's 9th Birthday. He is able to cock it by himself. Which makes it nice. He can hold it up to shoot it without his arms getting tired.
Things I would have changed:The trigger has to much play.
What others should know:It came out of box on site. With the true glow sites.

I like the ease of cocking for this accurate rifle. The quality of the rifle, in my opinion, is top notch.
Things I would have changed:The only thing that I would like to see is a better trigger. Even if it added another twenty dollars to the price of the gun, it would be worth it.
What others should know:I found out this afternoon when shooting it, that the hood over the front site is very sharp! My hand accidentally slid forward and one finger made contact with the edge of it and it cut instantly. I did not have my hand that far out on the barrel, it slipped. But I will be keeping a careful eye on where I put my hand from now on.

Do this gun shoot .22 cal pellets?
It's a closeout and we only have .177 left in stock. Whisper G2 (upgraded/ 2014 version) is available in both calibers.
What is the most accurate ammo for this gun?
I use crosman premier 10.5 grain round nose in my hunter extreme ( very accurate) and even in my daisy 880;s they seem to shoot very good in all .177's.Its just a matter of trail and error keep trying till you find the pellet your gun likes.Hope this helps.
