    Things I liked:

In my opinion, this is the best air rifle out there for the money. Beautiful walnut stock. The gun is extremely accurate and hard hitting. Was accurate with open sights right out of the box. Hard to break initially, but gets smoother with every use. Really like the safety and adjustable trigger. Fairly quiet once it settled down (several hundred rounds). Easily knocks down rabbits and squirrels at 50 yards. Performs really well with the JSB Exact Diablo in 18 grain.

    Things I would have changed:

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the marginal Optima scope it comes bundled with. The view is not very crisp or bright and came loose several times while in use. I changed it out for a Leapers UTG 3x9 - this is an awesome scope and completed the package. Wish the gun was sold without a scope to begin with.

    What others should know:

I am planning to purchase this gun for my boys in 22 caliber as well. Am considering the new QE (Quiet Energy) version which supposedly produces 50% less noise down range.

Great air rifle, hard hitting. Very happy with it. Made of quality wood and steel.

    Things I would have changed:

Rifle very heavy, stalk a little long.Haven't been able to sight in scope.

    Things I liked:

The wood quality, fit and finish are above average. The finish could be improved but, this is not a $500 weapon. Metal finish is very good. So far, the Quattro trigger exceeds my expectations, crisp, light pull and smooth.

    Things I would have changed:

The included scope is not up to the quality of the rifle. Sell without the scope or offer an upgrade. I removed the scope and installed a Bushnell 3200 Elite. Much improved. The rifle is a bit hard to cock but the effort required is as advertised and is smooth. I would like to remove the open sights, but will wait for the warranty to expire.

    What others should know:

Lots of dieseling for the first 100 shots, but decreases over time. The rifle is heavy but great for training and offhand use. I recommend changing the scope mount to a one piece mount with a stop pin, like the Leapers Accushot. Much more secure than the supplied rings.

    Things I liked:

The gun is beautiful to look at and feel. You can tell it is well made and uses quality material. The trigger is easy to engage and very sensitive,I love the automatic safety feature. Has a lot of power and is not very loud! The combo scope was fine for me.

    Things I would have changed:

It is a little heavy but probably due to the quality of material.

    What others should know:

Make sure to be pointing away on the 1st. shot, the trigger is precise and fired before" I knew it"! was not expecting such a quick fire. The cocking pressure is a good workout but not too excessive.I sat the entire time and rested the butt of the gun on the seat portion of the chair for leverage as I broke the barrel, really easy and not tiring.

Value and craftsmanship! A lot of people talk about the scope not being good, don't believe everything you hear! Get you some blue loctite, let it cure, and zero in. It will hold a zero and great for small game/pest hunting!

    Things I would have changed:

    0

    What others should know:

Don't hold it like a centerfire rifle or shotgun just let the air rifle rest in your hand!

    Things I liked:

Look, weight and balance. Solid rifle, nice trigger, good accuracy. Perfect location for safety. Happy with purchase, I recommend the 95. Have the 135 on the way. Hatsan is doing something right, kudos. Performs as advertised. Very pleased with whole process

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe bundle a better scope, but the Optima serves it's purpose pretty well.

    What others should know:

I use my guitar polish on wood stock, works great. Stock is a little dry and needs proper care. You don't want such a beautiful stock becoming dry and brittle. It's the esthetics that make this a looker

    Things I liked:

The walnut stock is beautiful and finished well. The trigger is decent. Hits very hard, took out a possum at close range with ease. Cocking effort is no problem. Shoots h&n ftt great out to 20-25 yards. Predator polymags do well a bit further. Jsb are just ok.

    Things I would have changed:

It's a little on the loud side. I have about 1000 rounds through it so far. It dieseled for a long while out of the box. Throw out the scope.

    What others should know:

Gotta be very conscious of your hold and place your off hand in the same spot every time. Be careful of the stock screws as the strip very easily. Don't over tighten the stock screw behind the trigger as it will interfere with the safety switch.

    Things I liked:

I liked the price, the feel of the rifle (it doesn't feel like a toy), this was my first air rifle and started an air rifle addiction, trigger is great.

    Things I would have changed:

Instead of a dove tail it needs weaver scope mounts, the scope stop puts the scope to far forward

    What others should know:

I found this rifle to be very hold sensitive, I trashed the original scope (its junk), the recoil of my rifle is very bad I have had a hard time keeping the scope on the rifle (had to get BKL 6 screw 11mm to weaver adapter), once I figured out how to hold this rifle it is shooting very tight groups with JSB 15.89 pellets.

    Things I liked:

Despite what i read about Hatsan quality, I did not find anything wrong with the appearance or operation. The stock was real walnut and beautiful. I can cock this with some effort but will eventually get more automatic at it and do it with one arm. Glad i did not get the 1200 FPS version since it would be difficult to cock - this one is just right. I would put this 22. Cal air rifle up against a 22 cal firearm anytime. It cuts though a can an leaves a large hole on exit. I have put 30 rounds through with no issues. Hit the target at 20 yards - open sites - no wild shots. Grouping is around 1" - but sure to get it better once broken in and familiar with it. Using Crossman 14.3 grain hollow points since they were $6.47/500 cheap as i am a first timer with an air rifle. Reserving the expensive rounds for game. This rifle would have no problem taking a squirrel or possum with one shot. I believe i could do in the coyotes around here. The Power is there. Trigger is fine

    Things I would have changed:

First Impressions (after 1 hour) Make the open sites larger, easier to see for a 60 year old with glasses. little fuzzy but still getting good groups. Just have to check the sights more often when making a shot. The scope will be a big improvement - I will report in on the scope performance when I get it mounted. The forearm of the stock is a bulky compared to a 22 cal firearm rifle. If I were Hatsan, I would trim the stock down and reduce weight/bulk.

    What others should know:

Pyramydair service was great - call them when you have questions during pre-sales. I do believe its a best value for the money with the features it offers - walnut stock, Quattro trigger, and German steel barrel. Price was more than i wanted to spend but you can't get this rifle for less with other manufacturers. It is a full size rifle at 7.8 lbs, it feels heavy, it is a solid rifle with no fear about handling it. Front open sites are small - difficult to see. Transition to a good scope. The 10 for 10 is worth it so you can have a final QA on the rifle before it goes out. Mine showed no issues. got up to nearly 900 FPS with 11 Gr. Hobby. Expect this to average out around low 800's once broken in. Get the quality 4 boxes of ammo added to the order and shipped with the rifle without theaddition shipping costs. Practice, Practice, Practice. Carry it around, Get use to your rifle - use up that first 500 box quickly so you can improve your skills and familiarity with the rifle

    Things I liked:

This is the Air gun i was waiting for, the gas ram version!!! When it comes to almost the perfect break barrel on the planet for a very reasonable price this is the one!! I like everything about this combo, the stock is beautiful it is comfortable and has very nice checkering. The steel workmanship is top notch, nice bluing and very good fit and finish. Has truglo sights. The trigger is very good and crisp a little on the heavy side but can be tuned to your liking. The vortex version is very smooth and vibration free just a nice clean whack when it shoots, with little recoil and produces up to 800 fps with lead pellets. The scope and mounting rings are a good bonus given the price of the rifle and are very sturdy and functional. Out of box accuracy is great, performs very reasonable with most pellets but likes RWS superdomes and produces a single ragged hole at 10 yards (remember this gun still has to break-in!) The weight is just right for this gun, not too heavy not too light!!

    Things I would have changed:

NOTHING!! This is as good as it gets for under $200 bucks in my opinion but that is not to say that they could not add sling studs, a better scope, a better noise suppressor up front and add a tin pf RWS superdomes!!! but then it wouldn't be under $200 bucks would it!!

    What others should know:

If you like German air rifles like the Diana/RWS that are between $400 to $600 dollars for their look, feel, accuracy and quality, then the TURKISH made HATSAN mod 95 has all that and more for under $200!!! In my honest opinion with a vortex gas ram it has the German springers beat!!

    Things I liked:

Only thing i will say about the included scope is this. Its perfectly acceptable out to 35 yrds or so. and damn good out to 50... Thats good enough for me, BUT but... what i really like about the included scope is that it mounts high enough,, that i can look under it. And still effectively use the rifles fixed sights for shots closer up. Im sure other scopes offer that, but on this hatsan rifle, the included scope is fine. side note, never put a scope on any rifle til i prove it with open sights. I have considered just taking the scope off this Hatsan pellet rifle, cause i have beemans and crosmans scoped already. its really fun to plink around, and alternate between a scoped shot, and looking under at the iron sights, and bouncing the can around.

    Things I would have changed:

    its fun enough for me.

    What others should know:

we all know its cheap fun!!

Beautiful stock. Accurate with the right pellets and your rifle's preferred hold. Powerful.

    Things I would have changed:

Metal finish quality a bit less than the stock but very good buy for the price. Rifle is more accurate than the sights. Put a scope on that meets your needs.

    What others should know:

Really like this rifle. I have the .177 caliber. Mine prefers pellets with larger head sizes, 4.53 and 4.54 mm. I sort Match Crosman Premiers and Match JSB's with a Pelletgage to get best accuracy for my rifle.

    Good looking/feeling.

    Things I would have changed:

Another heavy that just slung (multiple) pellets all over the place. Couldn't Hold it - from pure Artillery, to Death Grip. Besides, the front pin (of the 3 at receiver end) drifted out. A blessing, really, so I could send it back as "Defective".

    What others should know:

If not for my UmaRex Fuel .17, I might conclude that a Gas System can not be Held. But my Fuel proves that it is possible. Maybe I just got lucky.

    Things I liked:

The trigger. Good looking and hefty piece.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it better than simply a slinger of pellets. Caution: make sure you have a really big backstop when sighting - even shooting. p.s.: I've shot about 10,000 "rounds" thru 6 rifles, and 18 pellets/types, so "been there - done that".

    What others should know:

And finally, the 1st forward of the receiver pins simply drifted out - pushing it's way thru the "wood" stock. Refer to "Rex's" (most critical review). THAT was the final straw for me.

    Things I liked:

I purchased the Hatsan model 95 .22 cal. gas spring about four months ago and even with a few minor problems, it's a great rifle. Right out of the box it was accurate compared to one of my other springer's that took better than 2000 rounds to break in and settle down. The 95 is very solid and the level of precision is impressive for a gun in this price range. The advertised fps is 800 with lead pellets. After 1000 rounds mine was still shooting around 800 fps + or - with 14.3 grain pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

Leave out the scope and rings, or give an option to purchase a good AO scope and better rings.

    What others should know:

As impressed as I am with the rifle, I am equally impressed with Hatsan USA. Questions that I e-mailed to them were answered in one business day and my rifle did develop a mechanical problem that they took care of promptly. They received my rifle on a Monday, repaired it and shipped it back to me on the following Monday.

    Things I liked:

Power is as advertised (.22); furniture-grade walnut stock; moderate cocking effort; reasonably quiet; quality construction; good (but not great) trigger; fixed sight option; pretty good accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

Included scope is adequate at best...offer scope upgrade or no-scope option. The scope-stop places the scope too far forward and is not adjustable rearward. It's a heavy fella. Thumbhole option? I haven't found a hold which really keeps tight groups consistently...maybe I have the twitches, or it's the cheap pellets. Replace the dovetail mount with a Weaver/Picatinny version...clamping one on the dovetail holds no better.

    What others should know:

Walnut stock is oil-rubbed and scratches easily...be careful. Hatsan allowed me to upgrade the 3-9x32 scope to a 3-9x40AO model for $19.95, and it is a much better product. I added a Leapers one-piece mount, but it still needs Loctite (and wait overnight)...after that it was relatively stable. Now, about that trigger. Out of the box it was a bit stiff. I have a Hatsan 25 with the Quattro trigger, and it is a gem...not so this one. It's adjustable, but beware: The included trigger adjustment instructions contradict those on Hatsan's web site, both written and the nice Rick Eustler video. The manual may have simply reversed screw numbers, but be sure and see the Hatsan FAQ's for proper trigger adjustment. The front screw is too short to have any meaningful value, but you can use a slightly longer one if you're handy. I can cock it one-handed, but it's just easier using two. Keep the bolts tight. Noise is low, even though it does not have a silencer...just a cocking aid.

    Things I liked:

Nice looking rifle right out of the box with a medium length and weight. The rifle is not too hard to cock, shoulders pretty well and shoots surprisingly hard with good accuracy. The low price is obviously what makes this rifle so attractive. But buyer beware.

    Things I would have changed:

The two most disappointing things on this rifle are the trigger and the scope. Of course the scope can easily be changed to a Bushnell or Hawk, but the trigger is entirely a different problem. Needless to say after my experience I am not a fan of the Quattro trigger. A trigger upgrade would be a big improvement in my opinion.

    What others should know:

The trigger was very disappointing for me. The side to side movement was ridiculous and the trigger on mine totally failed after only 4 shots, so I had to send the rifle back to Pyramyd. I have to say that Pyramyd was very understanding about it. I would highly recommend the 10 for $10 when purchasing this rifle and ask the tech department to pay particular attention to the trigger mechanism.
