    Things I liked:

Quality, built like a tank, beautiful, and accurate!

    Things I would have changed:

Scope is the only drawback, but this gun is worth the upgrade!

    What others should know:

I would highly recommend this air gun. Mine is the .22 caliber, and it packs a wallop. Very well pleased!

    Things I liked:

Well made rifle for the money- no complaints. Shot maybe 50 rounds because of weather situation, seems to have good potential to be a good shooter, to early to tell.

    Things I would have changed:

    Should have got it sooner!

    What others should know:

Under 200 dollars and got it in 3 days, like I said no complaints!

Like the accuracy right out of the box, perfect trigger pull set from factory, nice well assembled rifle, really nice comfortable to shoot, well balanced. For a .25 ca rifle you can't go wrong.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not a thing

    What others should know:

Well worth the money, Pyramid Air nice to deal with, will be dealing with them again, fast delivery , love this rifle.

    Things I liked:

Well I guess it may help that I come to the air gun world with no experience as I was blown away with this package. It was shooting quarter sized groupings at 40 yards (H&N) from a bench with a single sandbag. My two sons LOVED the "old school" wood which is funny cause I like the more modern synthetic stock - I do however appreciate this guns attention to detail (nice etching). The scope that many people trash works great for us. Now it did take some time to sight it in (we shot several times before making multiple click adjustments- we do keep doing tightness checks (some times it is needed) but found that we could certainly hit targets with ease= we had fun "pushing" the buttons on an old toaster (bagel, reheat, cancel) from 40 yards. The power to break the barrel is real but does not inhibit ones desire to keep shooting :). We also tried standing from 80 yards and it took 4 shots to hit a quarter sized target. This gun explodes IKEA wood :) and imbeds iFAR into solid wood.

    Things I would have changed:

The fact the I waited this long to shoot my first airgun.

    What others should know:

I use H&N Field trophy 14.66 grains I found them slightly more accurate than the JSP Diablo Jumbo express 14.3 I have never shot another air gun or used a different scope so my "expert" opinion may not carry much weight. We are soooooooo happy with this purchase.

    Things I liked:

This gun is really accurate open sights out to 40 yards. My gun does the best with the GTO 16.54 alloy. The powerplant is best suited for 18 grain on down since it's the same powerplant as the .22 and .177. I dont even use my 4 other tins of .25 lead pellets. All my other guns have scopes. I enjoy plinking with this one open sights. I'm getting avg 775 fps with the gto 16.54= 22 ft lbs. All the other lead pellets I have dont even come close to the ft lbs. Of the alloy pellet. The HN 19 grain alloy does NOT work though. Gun has nice wood stock. Hatsan break barrels can sometimes be a crap shoot to get a good one. Had a Airtact .25 with a bad bore. My 95 .25 is great though. I'm getting about 1.50" group at 35 yards open sites. Yes a scope would do better.

    Things I would have changed:

The quattro trigger is a step up from crosman, Benjamin break barrels but the pull weight adjusted all the way down was still too much in my opinion.

    What others should know:

I would recommend the spring piston over vortex. The vortex has been known to lose power over time. Clean the bore really good when you get it. I use ballistol exclusively. Clean the existing lube on gun and relube. I used 1 drop silicone chamber lube after 50 shots down the chamber. Then every 500 shots after that. The stock screws for some reason never get loose. No loctite needed at least on mine. I have a Beeman R9 .177 also. This hatsan is no where near the gun the beeman is, but this gun is really worth the price. The scope can be adjusted to work but, it does not have mildots or adjustable objective. Grab the back of optima scope above the eyepiece and rotate the 3 inch section left or right to get a clear site picture. Keep turning it to get a clear view one way or the other. Then turn the eyepiece at the end to bring the cross hairs into clear view. Most people dont know how to get a clear view out of the optima scope.

    Things I liked:

First shot spun the target like a top. I like my wallyworld umarex airhawk elite II (.177), this is a .22, but the first shot got my son's attention. Second shot knocked the whole dam target to the ground. Could've been a miss. But I've missed before with the airhawk and never knocked it to the ground. We both had fun with that shot.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much. Sorry, I'm just not going to spend over $200 on an air rifle. If you're in my range, this is a solid choice. I get the RWS 34 and Benjamin Trails are better rifles, and if you're willing, go there. I'm not. Now my son? He might. I'm just not a scope person, YET. Maybe I'll update later.

    What others should know:

There is some serious force required to break this thing to cocking. You don't really have to slap your hand over it like in all the videos to start it, but it will require some serious force towards the end to cock it. Unlike my above mentioned Airhawk Elite II. I really like both of mine. Son's getting a Crosman Vantage nitro piston. At about $100, to start, I'd really go there. Then if you love it, you could decide to go above me to a Benjamin Trail or Diana RWS34 depending on your love of it. This is not a 12-yr-old air rifle. Maybe 16. My airhawk is most likely a "throw-away" rifle. Pretty sure you can rebuild Crosman's nitro pistons and I know you can rebuild Hatsan springers.

    Things I liked:

This is a very good air rifle in my opinion. It doesn't take much cocking effort, the overall weight is good, and my favorite is it looks, smells, and feels like a real rifle without the crack with a .22 lead pellet.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I would change is the wood finish isn't the best. The coating was easily scratch when first used and set down. But that can be easily fixed on my own. Overall great for the price.

    Things I liked:

The rifle is top shelf. I was very impressed with the accuracy of the sights as well as the velocity of the projectile.

    Things I would have changed:

I cannot get the scope to mount properly and I cannot get it adjusted and sighted accurately. Currently useless to me. It came with very limited instructions so if I'm doing something wrong please help.

    What others should know:

Great weapon but scope useless at present.

It looks really good and is fairly quiet

    Things I would have changed:

I would send a different scope with the kit

    What others should know:

When I was sighting it in at 25 yards I had the scope adjusted as far down as possible and adjusted as far left as possible and I still could not get it to where it needed to be and with those adjustments maxed out the lens inside shattered.

    Things I liked:

Looked like it was going to have power but no and breech seal was flat but I had a shim it didn't help and not accurate or well, made chinese air rifles are better made fit and finish on wood seems cheap blueing rough. Trigger is awful bought this rifle from another site and I regret it. Probably seal problem and scope messed up it won't go threw a Gatorade bottle at 25 yards. One word junk! Its going back no wonder they have so many refurbished ones Because they are no good or really poor quality control. German steel? That's a laugh.

    Things I would have changed:

Everything, quality of materials better quality control. Don't know if I'll ever buy another hatsan.

    What others should know:

Crosman and Benjamin are better quality. But is you want something really good buy Rws, and other German made air rifles, more money but way better made.

Great rifle, very accurate even without the scope. Excellent value for themoney. The scope is not perfect, but it is not junk too. Performs extremely well when hunting small game (rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks or rats).Try different ammo to find which you like the most.Knock down power is top notch.Small game doesnt stand a chance at 30-40 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

Went for this one as it is hard to find a .25 caliber at this price. Fast shipping a usual from Pyramid Air. Packing job was great and only outer box was damaged. Great service from Pyramid Air.

    Things I would have changed:

Not sure what all the hype is about the stock. The finish was dull and felt almost like simulated wood. The stock was stained on the forearm with oil. Quattro trigger is not on par with Gamo's smooth action trigger.

    What others should know:

Gun hits hard and is very accurate with the fiber optic iron sights. Think I will leave the scope for a less recoiling gun in my collection. Great looking rifle. Since owning a Diana I have become spoiled in my expectations. This Hatsan is great for my pest control needs. Overall pleased with this rifle as it will be a workhorse not a safe queen.

    Things I liked:

Accurate, Very Accurate. I have an 8 X 6 X 3/8 inch steel plate. It's 65 yards down range. I hit it every time. I am going to set up a smaller target.

    Things I would have changed:

My only concern is with the side to side play on the trigger. It does not have any effect on the way that the trigger functions. I think the mechanism is designed that way.

    What others should know:

I would say that this air rifle is well worth the money. Be careful to keep the area around the brake barrel clean. There are advantages to a soft steel barrel, but it can be dented when the brake is closed after loading a pellet. So keep it clean, be aware, and alert. It's a bit heavy, when you pick it up you realize that it's not a toy. I am sure that this air rifle will last me a lifetime.
