I like the look and feel of the AirMax .25 cal. I like the shot count, so much better than my Hatsan AT-44-10 QE. The cocking lever is smooth and easy to manipulate. The gun is very powerful and shoots accurately.
Things I would have changed:As most Hatsan PCP rifles, they are a bit heavy. Shedding a few pounds off would be nice. Would also be nice if the AirMax had a magazine holder like the Gladius. I am not too thrilled about the fill port configuration. It just has this little plastic dowel that fits in the port that can easily become lost. When you insert the probe it pushes the dowel out the other side. I wish it had some sort of metal cover that slides open like on the other Hatsan rifles. Perhaps make it with different stock options for those that don't like the wood.
What others should know:For those considering the AirMax, I would suggest an air compressor or at least a scuba tank. You really won't enjoy using a hand pump on this puppy! I will be purchasing a compressor pretty soon. Shooting this right after shooting my Hatsan AT44-10 QE, the AirMax is definitely louder. In my opinion it's not too backyard friendly. In my opinion this is a very good gun for the money, as most Hatsan PCP rifles. It has a great shot count vs many other guns. I feel you can't go wrong with this gun in any caliber. Great shot count, accurate and powerful all equals lots of fun.

Is a nice rifle; I like very much . I'm shooting real bullets from my own cast and I don't have to sized jus put some hi viscosity lube and it shoots well at 26 passes , most of the bullets get into one inch dia.
Things I would have changed:More air capacity it will be perfect . It will be very good if make it with a longer opened magazine to feed easily the single bullets for to shoot the real 25 cal. bullets and also for the .22 cal.
What others should know:This rifle is very good I recommend it ...

at 15 yards I can put 8 shots in the same hole

I like the bullpup style which makes it easy to handle. The trigger is pretty good out of the box. I like all the air it is able to hold so you get some good shot count. It is easy to put a bipod on with the picanniny rail already installed on the gun. The magazine is also great and easy to load. With a good scope it is easy to zero and is very accurate.
Things I would have changed:Put a good scope with it in the box.
