    Things I liked:

With all the Hatsans I have had the accuracy is great. But for the money it is a great air rifle. The removable air cylinder.

    Things I would have changed:

Would like to have a adjustable cheek rest or comb Try and loose some weight. Better sling mounts.

    What others should know:

A little heavy if you want to free hand a lot or carry all day hunting. Hatsan is a good air rifle may still buy another and I have 4 Hatsan PCPs now..

    Things I liked:

I like the quietness of this gun, the magazines, and the removable air tank..I plan to get another air tank and magazine for it soon. The trigger is good, but not as good as the Marauder I have, I have not tried to adjust the trigger as of yet. With the right pellet I believe it will do well at 50 yards plus.. I will use it for squirrel hunting and 50 yards or so is about what I stay with when hunting.

    Things I would have changed:

I cannot think of anything i would change at this point and time.

    What others should know:

I've been looking at this Hatsan for some time now and finally save enough to make the purchase. My fist purchase was the AT44W-10 long. I like wood and the outer looks of this gun and the feel. When they said it was loud, and this is of truth. Long and short, I started having trigger problems. on the second stage it became hard to pull to discharge. It was very unpredictable and very hard..I contacted PA and they gave me a return on it and I went with the QE....:It was a challenge to come up with the right pellet..JSB's, HN, Crosman. 14.3 gr. to 21 gr. I was at the point thinking I had a lemon. My objective was to find a pellet that would have all holes touching at 25 yards. I was on the verge of contacting Hatsan USA or ordering another barrel. Well I finally tried some Air Arms 16 & 18 gr. Well the long and short; the Air Arms 18 gr. did excellent for me, all holes touching at 25 yards. I guess I should still try more pellets I would hate to think that this is the only pellet.

    Things I liked:

I really like the power and accuracy of this rifle (.22). I had to go through a lot of pellets to find the "one" that groups consistently tight, and once I did...WOW!!! It is very quiet...it does ping, but that can be easily remedied if it really bothers you.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing. I love this Gun!!!

    What others should know:

For me, this rifle (.22) really likes the 21.14 grain Barracuda Power (copper jacket). Avg. 900 FPS for 38 FPE. The next best pellet, almost as accurate, had a minor flier here and there, maybe one out of ten, is the Kodiak copper 21.12 averaging 917 FPS for 39.4 FPE. I have a 6-24x50 scope on it and it extremely accurate at 75 yards. Wierd that this rifle likes copper pellets, as none of my other guns will shoot them worth a darn. The best non-copper jacketed pellets were the 14.3 crosman premier magnum and the air arms 16 gr. diablo field. Although neither of these were as good as the copper. Yes this rifle is heavy, but with a bipod or shooting stick, it's easily managed. I bought the foster adapter and I pump this up with my benjamin hand pump. I'm 57 years old 6'2" & 180Lbs. I really don't find this all that difficult to pump up.

    Things I liked:

Not much....bought a cheap Hatsan that was way better than this one....

    Things I would have changed:

Overpriced, have to look down barrel to see air pressure, a violation of basic gun safety! No 'open sights' as was shown by 'instructions'. Won't fill with standard 'Ben' pump. poor system.

    What others should know:

Very loud "ping", not very quiet. Tried a dozen times to contact Pyramyd air to return with no success. Needs special adapters (I had to customize) to 'air fill', not a well designed system in my opinion. Better to buy single stroke air pump in .25 cal than this thing.

    Things I liked:

this is my fifth hatsan 4 pcp and a bonus alpha striker youth break barrel. all excellent rifles. the at 44-10 ong qe is back yard friendly. whats loud is when the pellets hits my outdoor 30 yrd backstop. smooth lever and trigger. mounted a 3x9x50 mm ao scope regulator and bipod. love the rails. didnt take long to find that magic pellet gun. loves beeman kodiak 14.66 gr. like with the other hatsan pcps, doesnt disappoint in accuracy and workmanship. some people complain bout the stock being dull looking. i use wd40 on a rag and wipe down the stock walla doesnt look dull

    Things I would have changed:

    add a regulator better manual

    What others should know:

longest gun in my gun safe out of all the hatsans i own will need a sling if you hunt out in the woods

    Things I liked:

All I can say is WOW. This rifle is a winner all day long. 6 shots to zero at 25yds. After that I filled it back to full and put 40/40 shots in a 3/4" grouping. This will now be my number #1 goto hunting, plinking, target rifle. It love JSB pellets, LOVES! I received this rifle with what some would call a cheap scope. Doesn't matter in this case, the felt recoil is near none, so it won't beat your scopes up, cheap or expensive. Lets move to noise, this thing is backyard friendly all day long. My pellet traps make 10X more noise than the rifle makes.

    Things I would have changed:

Honestly for the money I would change nothing. Waiting for the right time to buy is key. I got mine for $400 and some change. I should have bought it in all 3 caliber's.

    What others should know:

This is no toy, handle with care. It is a true true true nail driver. I would expect to pay 3 times the money for something this easy to shoot.

At44 long QE 22 accuracy great quit reasonable priced

    Things I would have changed:

Install factory depinger to quit it down more. Make a larger mag to handle longer heavier pellets

    What others should know:

Used a bottle brush in air tank to remove ping works great . Make sure wire on bottle brush is stainless steel to avoid corrosion. Or you have to check ever so often to make sure it is not rusting

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Great for plinking & hunting small game. Very backyard friendly it's so quiet.

    Things I liked:

I like how nice this guns feels in my hands. The weight is very nice, well balanced gun. In my opinion this is a good quality made gun. It shoots very accurate, shoots a quarter size pattern at 25 yards very easy. I had it zeroed in within 3 shots. It's not as quiet as I was expecting but still very quiet. Almost zero kick.

    Things I would have changed:

For the price range I wouldn't change anything. Very well made gun.

    What others should know:

This gun only comes with 1 mag. Get extra mags. I was able to refill it from 50 bars back to 200 bars with my hand pump in about 20 mins. I plan to purchase additional mags and additional air tubes. I purchased the AT44 10 QE Long .22. The cocking lever is very smooth, which allows for easy target acquition. This gun shoots JSB pellets very well. It likes 18 gr and heavier pellets.

    Things I liked:

Accurate and quiet. At 25 yards shooting a blue berry isn't even a challenge and at 75 yards groups are less than 1 inch, everyday.

    Things I would have changed:

It is long and I would like if it came with the same performance in a smaller/shorter package.

    What others should know:

Unless you are strong, holding this thing up to hunt will be hard because it is heavy and long. So get some sticks and that will help a ton.

    the idea

    Things I would have changed:

    everything

    What others should know:

Yep the stock is discolored not good doesn't clean off , stock is hollow quite noisy going out in field the sling banging against it doesn't help. The pic rail underneath the fore stock is molded off and the rifle leans to the left. I have tried different bipods including a rather expensive Harris. Lucky to get 2 rotary clips worth on a 200bar charge. Which in turn is affecting accuracy? Less than impressed with the trigger at least out of box will play with it little on the spongy side and not crisp. The Jsb exact jumbo heavy 18.13 .22 averaged 967 at the muzzle and did not group well at 35yards , 3-5” size . have tried some other weights and brands results not much better at least from the bench. The barrel has been bedded and cleaned .the rifle has also developed a leak in the reservoir. The threads for it were also malformed and made for a pore mechanical connection. Sent in for warranty which they did honor and the decision was made to send a new reservoir and it arrived scratches all over it bunch of tape residue a dent on the gauge the O-rings have chunks missing. Overall the idea of the rifle is good for the price point. Unfortunately with the lack of quality I personally cannot give a good rating for this product. The warranty replacement part really just put it past a reasonable acceptance. So this will be going to a good home to someone on craigslist and will wash my hands of anything made by Hatsan, this makes 2 for 2 bad products from Hatsan.

THIS IS MY 5TH HATSAN and this one is in .25 cal--very hard hitting-very accurate--GOOD BANG FOR THE BUCK

    Things I would have changed:

very heavy-THE PING IS WAY TO LOUD AND the suppresser is VERY LOUD-- THE QE SYSTEM WORKS ON A .22&.177-- BUT REALY NEEDS TO BE BEEFED UP BIG TIME FOR THE .25 CAL--Hatsan PLEASE FIX THESE PROBLEMS-when & if you do you will have THEE best .25 cal for the price--PS. please send me the up grades

    What others should know:

if you miss your first shot the ping and noise from the QE system(which does not work on the .25 cal) will flat spook all the critters you are shooting at even up to 100 yrds away

I have the AT44-10 QE Long in .25 cal. I never had a Rifle that would shot 3/8 grouping at 60 yards wind at my back .

    Things I would have changed:

Keep the steel barrel and order a moderator , the QE barrel flexes just a tiny bit if lay it on anything at all . I have a AT44-PA Short in .25 cal it is rock solid because the barrel is solid steel and shot fantastic it was loud at first not back yard friendly now it a Dream to shot I get 1/2 grouping at 60 yrds. with this baby . My experience.

    What others should know:

I also use Burris"Zee" rings make sure you get the inserts they are extra but the factory is good about sending you what you need . PS you have to open the scope ring base to fit the Weaver rail on the Hatsan so it slowly or you'll break the tab off the base of the rings. Look it up on You -Tube it's a Great way to adjust your scope if you run out of adjustments on your scope turrets. I have these rings on both rifles. I use JSB .25 cal. and Benjamin .25 cal thy shoot so close to each other I can't choose one over the other.

    Things I liked:

Powererful, like shooting a .22 rimfire in my back yard! Quiet, the pellet hitting the back of the trap is twice as loud as the muzzle report! Accurate, with the Hawke HK5172 3-9X40 AO scope mounted, I'm driving tacks @ 20 yards, I have no doubt that this gun will be accurate out to 100 yards

    Things I would have changed:

I wish it had a more conventional bolt, similar to the one on the BT65, the sidelever on the AT44 is somewhat bulky & awkward to operate, if you are willing to spend another $200.00 on the BT65, do it. however don't let this discourage you from buying the AT44, this is my 1st PCP rifle & I have no regrets about choosing the AT44. FYI the instructions that come with the gun are useless & if you are new to PCP airguns I highly suggest you have one of Pyramid Air's experts walk you through the filling operation!

    What others should know:

This is a great gun! Out of the box accuracy was amazing. After cleaning the gun it only got better. 50 yard shots are easy with this gun, and it remains simple out to about 80 yards. I have had this for a few weeks now and have put over 1000 shots through it and I haven't had any problems with the gun itself. This gun comes with a sling and I do not reccommend that you use it. After a week of use with the sling the front latch came undone and my gun fell, breaking my scope. I was not pleased with that. I had worries that the gun was damaged, but surprisingly it was perfectly fine. Not even a scratch. If you do use the sling secure the latch with some tape, trust me, you need it. And I do reccommend the use of a sling, as this gun is pretty heavy. If your'e going to take this into the woods you definitely need one. All in all I am very pleased with this rifle and I definitely advise you buy one! For the money it absolutely cannot be beat!!

    Things I liked:

I am very impress with this PCP HatsanAT44-10 Long QE air rifle. I never shot one never. so I was very unsure about getting one, site unseen mail order. I must say Pyramydair is top notch. I ordered the air rifle in the .22 cal. size with a UTG 4-16x44 Accushot Scope. 4 days latter it was delivered. The packing was very good to with stand a rugged ride so there was no shipping damage. Unpacked the gun; the feel of gun is you know it's not a toy. The weight is not bad and is balanced good. The gun came precharged 200bar. So I put on the scope and set a target out at 35 yards. I loaded the 10 shoot mag. ready to shoot. From a bench, target in site safety in a good place to lift thumb up and push button forward very nice and smooth. trigger finger pulling the trigger then spit whack. Knot very much noisy when it shoots. First shoot hit 8 inch low and 14inches to the left. Cocked the gun for a second shoot. Cocking is easy and the safety goes on automatic. Ready to shoot again. Aim, safety off and shoot. Hit the same spot. I started adjusting the elevation. 10 clicks at a time.and shoot. the shoots where lining up straight little higher at a time but straight in a line.On the 10th shot I was at the right elevation. Reloaded 10 shot mag. Adjusted to the right shoot. As I was adjusting to the right same thing it was making a straight line. After the 6th shot bulls-eye.Finished those 10 shots destroyed that little bulls-eye dot about the size of a dime This gun shoots very good. Loaded it up again put a new target up 105 feet = 35 yards Hit Bulls-eye after bulls-eye Then it started to hitting low not much I looked at the pressure and it was about 105 bar. So from 200 bar down to about 105 bar you get about 40 solid shots then its time to charge the gun back up. I hook up the pump and went to pumping. The pump was leaking air where it plugged into the gun so I replaced the o-rings on the fill nozzle and plugged it back in to the gun It worked great. Pumped it up to 200 bar. It's pretty hard to pump the last 10 or so pumps to get the 200bar. It can be done. I was ready to start shooting again. Moved the target out to 50 yards Was hitting silver-dollar size groups I think that's real good for a .22cal pellet rifle. I shot 40 rounds Pellets hitting hard and on the mark. This gun is very good for the money. I went to charge the gun up again, Pumped the pressure up to 200 bar. Took the pump off the gun and the cylinder was leaking air.it leaked slow but down went the pressure. I hooked the pump back up and pumped the gun back up to 200 bar. I took off the pump and the cylinder on the gun is leaking. So I called Pyramydair to tell them what happened to my surprise they told me know problem Just pack it up in the original packing and they would send a shipping label to my e-mail so I could ship it back to them and they would send a new one back. A day latter they sent me an e-mail telling me that the .22 cal was on back-order. So I called them and asked them since the 22cal was on back-order if they could send a .25 cal instead. They said there is know problem with that 2 days latter the Hatsan AT44 long QE Air Rifle in the .25cal was at my door step. Those people at Pyramydair well they get a big thumb up in my book the way they handled things. Top-notch. I will buy again from them because they believe in there products so they stand behind them. Its hard to find companies like that. Keep up the good work Pyramydair. Be sure to check them out...

Get the .25 cal (and pair it with a great mildot scope)... it is a beast! I've had the rifle for about two weeks now and mounted the Hawke Sport Optics 6.5-20x42 AO Sidewinder Tactical Rifle Scope (Pyramid Air: SKU Hawke Sport Optics 6.5-20x42 AO...). Same scope Ted uses in his "Ted's Holdover" U-Tube Vids. Today (no kidding) I hit a pigeon at 123 yards...wish I had a camera mounted to record the shot :( . Great rifle and very quiet. (my neighbors don't hear a thing)

    Things I would have changed:

Too bad Hatsan does not make a Bullpup : ( This rifle is pretty long after all.

    What others should know:

Best value for the money! Excellent cocking. Easy to load the clip. I get about two full clips (18 shots) before I to refill it.

    Things I liked:

I have watched Rick review these rifles for a long time. I own a couple very high dollar Daystate and Air Arms PCP rifles. All in .22 caliber. I am a hunter. So an add appeared for a used AT44-10 QE long and I bought it a couple months ago. The seller was totally disgusted and told me upfront so, and sold it to me for $200 dollars. I did in all honesty tell him to try a different scope but nope, he was mad at that rifle. Lol!

    Things I would have changed:

I tossed the scope that was on the rifle in the round file and installed a high quality Hawke scope. Yes the rifle with scope and bipod is a bit heavy, but hey, buy yourself a decent carry sling and rig it barrel down and it is not much more heavy than any other rifle, maybe a couple pounds.

    What others should know:

I have to simply say, this rifle is just as accurate as my high dollar rifles. It likes the JSB 18.1 pellets and really hammers them on the target, when the pellet hits a squirrel you can hear the pop. I am sure some cannot say this, but I am just a private individual and I have to say, for the money this is the best deal around. I do not fill it all the way up, just about just under full as at full charge it will send a couple flyers the first two or three shots then settles right down, so I just do not fill it to max. I still get 30 plus accurate shots and hey if I cannot get a mess of squirrels with 30 shots I need to use a a shotgun......(Grin) You can beat this one up too, and not be worried about scratching the stock or actually using it in the field. It can take it.
