    Things I liked:

In my opinion, this is the best value for a hunting PCP on the market right now. I got the .25, because I also have a Benjamin Marauder .22, and I wanted the extra knock-down power of the bigger pellets. The Marauder is a nice gun, but this Hatsan leaves it in the dust. The trigger is fantastic, when adjusted properly (which is pretty easy to do). I wasn't sure about the sidelever action when I was considering the gun, but I absolutely love it. It's much easier and more natural to operate than a bolt action. The magazine system is simple and foolproof (and made of metal!), what more can you ask for than that? Mine liked JSB Kings best, with Benjamin domes a close second. Five JSBs will go into one ragged hole at 30 yards, 1/2 inch at 40 yards, 3/4 inch at 50 yards, and 1 inch at 60 yards, if I do my job. It's louder than my Marauder, which is to be expected with a .25, and it does have a bit of a "ping", but overall it's still very quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

It is long and heavy, but I knew that going in, so it's not really a negative for me. I'm a big guy though, so that might be something for a person of smaller stature to keep in mind. The bigger air cylinder does take more pumping with a hand pump to fill than by Marauder's, but you get a lot of good shots that way too, at least 20 off a full fill by my count. The first couple of shots after a full 200 bar fill do tend to hit a little off too, though not a lot - maybe half an inch to an inch at 50 yards. One thing to keep in mind when adjusting the trigger is that you CAN lighten it too much. It doesn't say that in the owner's manual, but I apparently turned the screw too far, and the gun discharged (just air, I did not have it loaded). The stock could be a little less "clunky", and the overall appearance isn't going to win any beauty contests, but that doesn't matter at all for hunting.

    What others should know:

The scope and bipod sometimes sold with this gun are garbage. The scope is foggy, and the crosshairs move when you move your head, even when the parallax is set. The bipod is cheap and unsteady. The sling is pretty lousy too. I wish Hatsan would just keep their accessories and knock another few bucks off the price of the gun. I'm currently using a CenterPoint 4-16x40 AO IR Mil-Dot scope and CenterPoint rings on this gun, and they're working great.

    Things I liked:

I anguished for almost a year before picking this rifle, the choices between 25 cal. and 22 cal. and was also looking at the marauder. I did a lot of research on both, videos , acticles etc.I like the 25 cal. for knock down energy but i like the 22cal. because its more easily found at a chinamart , plus theres so many good hunting pellets available, the 25 cal. isn't found in stores usually and must be ordered. The hatsan has so many cool features, removable air reservoir, extras are available, a 10 round metal magazine in 22 cal.. which i choose, higher shot count, backyard friendly very quiet. I really like the sidelever cocking arm much better than a bolt. Was glad this rifle doesn't come with a scope , this should be up to the owner to pick what they want , everyone has there favorites.

    Things I would have changed:

This rifle is about pound heavier than the marauder and very long like the title says at 49 inches stem to stern, but it balances perfectly , feels great to hold. If i was knit picking i would say the stock seems kind of cheap , it could be improved , but i would rather have an accurate rifle than a pretty stock. This isn't a 2000 dollar Daystate or an Air Arms.

    What others should know:

It took me about 8 rounds to sight this rifle in , was hitting the bulleye constantly shot after shot, very accurate. Im not sorry i picked the 22 cal. Great value for the money. Sweet trigger. Only about 80 dollars more than the marauder but the features make it worth it.

    Things I liked:

Everything great gun for price !! Quiet & hard hitting , very accurate. I bought it for hunting in the .25 caliber the knock down power & penetration @ long distance is awesome !!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing but the sling that comes with the rifle.

    What others should know:

This is an awesome gun . I did alot of looking & research for a quiet pcp gun and came across the airgun web review on this rifle. That was all it took for me 2 decide & for the price i think its a great buy !!

    Things I liked:

Accuracy is amazing !!! Right up there with the daystates I've owned maybe even better. Love the sidelever, and magazine system. Very quiet for its power. Best value in PCP rifles right now. I really wanted an fx royale 500 but with this gun I'm having a hard time justifying it.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish this came in a bull pup. As its name implies it is very long. Trigger is good but can be tricky to adjust.

    What others should know:

I have taken raccoon, jack rabbits, hundreds of prairie dogs, crows, pigeons and other critters. My average group size for 18 shots (two full mags) is 0.7. If I limit my shots to 5 or 10 like most reviewers do than it is more like .5 with JSB Kings.

    Things I liked:

I purchased the .22 cal model. Replaced the scope with a sidewinder 6x24. I live in an urban area and can shoot this all day long without disturbing the neighbors. Took me quite a while to find a pellet that would group well. The JSB 18.3 would still scatter at top of tank and then as the pressure went down started to group. I went to a Stoeger 21.2 grain and my groups immediately shrank to under a dime at 20 yards. The 230 cc tank is easy to fill with a hand pump. I find that if I limit myself to 20 rounds it is very easy to top off the cylinder back to 200 bar. Cylinder is easy to change out. I purchased a spare and that really helps when your out in the field.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like a wood stock option but I have no complaints about the one that came with the gun. You have to be picky about scope mounts as cheap ones will block the magazine release knob. The air cylinder needed some filing around the air fill port as the sharp edge keep cutting the fill O-rings.

    What others should know:

A very powerful but quiet air gun. Urban compatible right out of the box. As with any air gun try lots of pellets until you find the one that works really well for you.

    Things I liked:

The weight, the feel and the fact it has a magazine.

    Things I would have changed:

    - That "PING" when you shoot. - The baffles should be more like the ones the AF rifles use. - When I opened it one of the screws that holds the barrel in place when rolling around in the bag but wasn't a big deal to replace once I found where it went. - There was some discoloration one the stock. Not sure what that was. Didn't seem to come off but I didn't try any cleaners because I wasn't sure if that would make it worse.

    What others should know:

A tank of a gun, very heavy duty. Seems like a great gun for the price.

    Things I liked:

I just received the rifle in 25 caliber and from the packaging out everything was well done. It came fully charged to 200 bar so after cleaning the barrel, mounting a scope (not the supplied scope) it was taken out to sight in at 20 yards. It is amazing how quiet this gun is you hear the ping, a small pop and the pellet hitting the target is louder than the gun. That will be in a video review soon it is being edited. After sighting in the next 12 rounds made one ragged hole with 2 different shooters on the gun. Shot it down to 100 bar at it was still on out to 40 yards. Good times. I had done a lot of research of this gun before the purchase and all of the claims made were proven once I started shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

On this model I am happy with things just as they are. An option for a wood stock would be nice but that is just a personal choice and has nothing to do with how great this gun functioned.

    What others should know:

This is not a light gun but it also isn't a killer for most people to carry in the field. Yes it is a hunting gun not a plinker. It is also long at close to 49 inches so if you need a shorter package look at the AT 44 10 QE not the long version. This gun has a little rough spot in the cocking lever just where the safety resets and this will smooth out in time. I would not hesitate to buy another one of these, period. Value for money spent is about as good as it gets.

This rifle is boring. I have air rifles costing over twice as much as this gun And they don't shoot any better than this Hatsan. Gun is not pellet fussy at all, which is very nice. Same hole time after time at 30 yards. Even with Crow Magnums!

    Things I would have changed:

Make the gauge a little easier to read.

Everything..the rifle is extremely powerful and accurate, I have a crow decoy set up at 90 yards and hit every time, I use a Leapers 4-16x44 scope and get great results.

    Things I would have changed:

Hatsan must update their User Manual. It's way too vague, especially when it comes to filling the cylinder. If it was easy' t Pyramyd Air' s great customer service I may have ruined mine.

    What others should know:

As stated above the User Manual is a joke. Read it carefully & contact ether Hatsan or P/A customer service if you have any questions.

    Things I liked:

I recently purchased the AT44 QE Long in .25 caliber. It is extremely quiet (a dull "ping"), extremely powerful, and has a very smooth and easy to cycle action. I haven't had a chance to shoot beyond 20 yards, but at that range I'm able to repeatedly shoot small clover leaf patterns with JSB Exact Kings. I highly recommend buying a scuba tank and regulator. It takes a few hundred pumps from my Benjamin Discovery pump to get the gun to full pressure. After shooting 3 clips (27rounds) it still has plenty of power to spare.

    Things I would have changed:

I didn't like the existing sling swivels. I unscrewed them and carefully drilled and installed larger ones. The quality of the stock is decent but should be better for the price.

    What others should know:

The power and accuracy of this gun is superb. I don't regret my purchase at all. This rifle is extremely long. When wearing it on a sling I suggest having the stock up and the muzzle down.

The rifle is very accurate and it is very quiet. It is a gun that rivals any of the quality PCPs.

    Things I would have changed:

The barrel seems loose. A secure barrel mount would be welcome. I sent the first one back for this reason but the replacement was the same so I assumed that this was the norm!

    What others should know:

If you are seeking a powerful, accurate PCP, this is your gun.

I have 3 Hatsan PCP's-AT44 PA--BT65 Elite but I talk about the new Quiet Energy long barrel--this is one quiet-hard hitting-accurate rifle-the cocking lever action is outstanding smooth and easy-you wont get a double feed-mags are easy change-I only have about 500 rds through it with Benjaman 14.8's accuracy at 50yrds from a 10rd mag is 1" groups and quite often I can stick my little finger through the whole--I use a 10X40X50 scope with low 30mm rings--I get 50rds per fill with the last 4 dropping off about 1/4" --my fill is from a 80cu 3000psi scuba tank with the Hatsan fill station I probably have some 60 fills and still have more air in the scuba tank--with tax herein Utah it cost $13.00 to fill the tank-there are places that are further from me that charge $8.00 plus tax but my local dive shop is just 5 min away--this is one outstand PCP you can not go wrong-Hatsan's quality is outstanding--performance is second to none-quality price hard hitting great trigger fast accurate quiet
