Things I liked:

My first PCP rifle. took it to the range to zero and it was amazingly accurate right out of the box. Put about 100 rounds through it and was surprised at how loud it was for an air gun. I loved the feel and heft of the rifle.

Things I would have changed:

Maybe a little less noise would be nice.

What others should know:

Took it pig hunting and was worried about the noise. Don't worry!! about it got a 278 pounder 1 shot and he never heard a think. If you want a larger caliber this one is a good place to start.

Things I liked:

Looks, style, metal magazines.

Things I would have changed:

Different operating system for the magazines

What others should know:

I had to return 2 of these guns because the magazines would not turn correctly when cocking the gun, got another brand of 30cal instead

    Things I liked:

Accuracy is really good. and the gun looks good. Adjustable trigger is a big plus

    Things I would have changed:

The baffle system it does keep the gun quiet. But I had some issues with mine effecting the accuracy.

    What others should know:

If the gun is not shooting accurate, try taking the baffles out and leave the muzzle cap off and see if accuracy improves then you will know what the problem is btw mine shoots 3/4 inch groups at 55 yards using JSB 81 grain pellets with the baffles out

    Things I liked:

I knew these rifles were around. I have a heavily tuned Recluse .357, tuned by Will Piatt. RIP Will. But I wanted something a little more tamed, polite? My son in law bought an FX MK3. I saw the FX Crown made 90 fpe and 955 fps. So I splurged and bought one. $2700, with scope! A total waste of money! It made 46.6 fpe. FORTY SIX! I know a airgunner in Leetonia Ohio. He said he had a .30 cal Carnivore, used and tuned. Since I had al lot or .30 cal JSB's, I made a deal, a good deal. This rifle filled the void I wanted. My first shot I was convinced. It shot that JSB 44.75 955 and 86. Filled at 200 bar I run through two seven shot mags and it runs down to 140. I have my beast Recluse at the top, the Carnivore then my sweet Hatsan Neuron Star, also tuned, bringing up the rear. That joke FX? It sits all by itself in the closet. I'll sell for $1500.

    Things I would have changed:

I'm handicapped and this rifle is heavy. I took the stock off and even though it's plastic it weighed more than the rifle. I may look into doing some shaving. Maybe Hatsan can come up with a woody? The sidelever is a big improvement over that joke rear bolt. The open metal mags are a little tricky but I'll get used to them. Seven shots, the .357 holds 6, there's room for a larger mag.

    What others should know:

There are rifles that make more power, are lighter but cost more. I like the traditional look. Metal, and wood. That's why I like my Recluse and Neutron Star. The Carnivore is plastic, but at least it has a stock! Son in laws Fx 3 looks like a buzz gun from a sci fi movie. Not for me. And I'm pretty sure my Neutron Star makes more power. 975 and 69.8 using a 34 grain FX? Recluse, 215 and 940 using g 146 grain. I like power, now I have it. Groundhogs are on alert!

    Things I liked:

Excellent precision, good for hunting up to medium size game. Not for Deer or big game hunting. Very well constructed and comfortable to shoot. Good magazine system and very nice good looking rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Would like to have little more power for Deer and big game hunting.

    What others should know:

Not for Deer or big game hunting.

    Price weight and suppressed

    Things I would have changed:

If it didn't blow air out of the breach when you shot and accuracy could be a lot better. I tried multiple pellets and slugs best group I got was 26" at 25yrds. I'm no professional shooter but I known I can shoot better than that.

    What others should know:

Typical Hatson so close to a great product but they cut corners where it really counts. All 3 guns I had did have bad barrels. 2 of the three were even bent!

It's very accurate, powerful, and easy to shoot. I love the trigger on this rifle. I like the way it feels even if it is a long rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

    Sell it with sights.

    What others should know:

Don't buy huge pellets because they have to fit in the revolver.

    Things I liked:

I have the .357 shooting fx 82 grain pellets. Once you figure out how to hold this long gun it is capable of about 3/4 to 1 inch groups at 50 yards. I shot a hole through a 1x4 at 50 yards. Mine has side lever action and is not even a little stiff and cycles very smooth through the mag. Now for how quiet the gun is. I live on about 2 acres backed up to state land and my wife cant Hear me shoot it from in the house. It will smack the target and make a cracking noise. On here it says it is capable of 730 FPS with 95 fpe, not sure how correct that is cause on the hatsan website and the box it says 760fps with 105fpe.I would recommend this gun!

    Things I would have changed:

Besides maybe a little shorter, other then that nothing it is a hefty quality made gun.

    What others should know:

The automatic safety has not worked on mine since brand new. I dont care Im not a fan of automatic safety I would rather place it in the safety position myself so I know it is fully engaged.

The effort to pump up with a manual air pump. A video of what it really takes.

    Things I liked:

Ordered the .30 cal 6/17/21. It just arrived at FedEx office for pick up today, 6/25/21. Initial inspection reveals item poorly packed for shipping. NO paper wadding in shipping box, to prevent "slide-hammer effect" during shipment. Factory box had what appeared to be a box cutter slice on one end corner. Inspection of actual rifle reveals ZERO pressure in air cylinder. Also numerous scratches here and there on the barrel shroud. Rifle came with 2 rotary mags. One of them was already seated in receiver block. That particular magazine had very pronounced tooling marks on the assembly screw head (common screw driver slot), like a person did not know how to use a screw driver properly. And didn't care about damaging the screw head. The rifle did cock easily with the side lever action. That is a big plus versus the super heavy bolt tension on previous generation of this BT big bore. I will add to this initial report when I get a chance to air it up and test fire with my new chrony.

    Things I would have changed:

Proper packaging by PA employees. At almost 10 pounds, sliding around inside the shipping box is not good. Paper wadding at both ends and on the sides would help prevent damage. Bubble wrap would be the best. Perhaps an option to pay extra for better packing for shipment?

    What others should know:

Update coming soon on this Hatsan BT big bore qe sl .30 cal.

    Things I liked:

The rifle is very comfortable to hold. Looks great and is pretty dam quite considering the size of rounds its shooting. Action is smooth and very easy to use. Not much recoil. My 9 year old daughter shoots it.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice if I could use slugs from this rifle and get any kind of reliable accuracy. Its not very heavy when shooting from a bench but after one night of run and gun style hunting this thing gives you a work out. It would be nice if you could get a lighter wooden stock for this. The synthetic stock is very heavy.

    What others should know:

THIS IS NOT A RIFLE TO SHOOT SLUGS...... PELLETS ONLY..... I wish I would have known this when I was looking at it. I have tried lots of different slugs and they just dont group worth a dam. JSB Diablo pellets I can group them with in 1.5" at 50 yards easy. With an 81 gr pellet I would have expected to see very close to the fps that is stated but no. 81 gr pellets are only getting at best 716 to 712. Unfortunately I would return the rifle but my wife tossed the box so I am stuck with it. Ill be playing around with trying to tune and modify it to make it a more powerful rifle.

    Things I liked:

Looks good, feels good, they listened and its now a side lever not bolt action. Thats huge for this gun. Its stupid powerful and the gold tackey accents on the air cylinder and magazine bolt are black. For me its not heavy. I can hold it and flip it with 1 hand in any position with just my wrist held by the grip by the trigger. With harris bipod and 30mm scope on board. Im a big guy. If your a lightweight, jr or woman, it may be heavy to you. The cylinder seems to fill quickly with little depletion from your charge bottle. At 3 charges im still at 2960 from 80 cu ft scuba bottle. nasty in stock settings. Have not tuned it yet but will expect to get 850 fps with 81 gr.

    Things I would have changed:

The degasing cap came steel not brass like all ive ever seen. The thread is not correct and will not thread on my cylinder. Pyramyd was contacted and have not heard back yet. Its loud. If you want this kind of power loud is a byproduct. This is my second hatsan. I sent back a hatsan flash because the bluing was bad thinking it slipped through quality control. This bt65 blue is just as bad. Had i known i would have kept the flash. If pristene blue is for you a hatsan is not. These are minor dislikes. This is a beautiful gun which i highly reccommend. Loves jsb

    What others should know:

This should not be a first airgun unless you have previous firearms exp. Should take a pig or deer out to 50 yds with well placed headshot. An amazing airgun

Power to spare for medium game. You can easily drop a couple hundred pound pig with this weapon.

    Things I would have changed:

Holy crap this things long!!! It's as long as my b t 65 with a wolf airgun moderator on the end. If you plan on hanging this on a wall, no problem, but if you want to put it inside of your cabinet and you have an upper shelf you better break out the tape measure.

    What others should know:

Bring your biceps, this thing is very long, very weighty. If you don't have the arm strength it's hard to hold and control. To get what it's truly capable of throw it on a bench have a great time up to and beyond 100 yards. If you're going to carry it you better go to the gym first.

    Things I liked:

This gun is very accurate. Havnt had any issues cycling the mag or with the safety. Gun delivers exactly what is claimed on fps and fpe. Also like the features of adjustability of the stock. Love the fact of just purchasing extra air tanks for the gun and simply just unscrew to swap air tanks. Makes hunting alot easier instead of carrying around a fill source.

    Things I would have changed:

Only thing i would change is where the air pressure gauge is mounted. I would rather have the gauge on the side instead of towards themuzzle end of barrel.

    What others should know:

The gun is little heavy. To me its about the same weight of some of my PB rifles. Its not to where i cant carry-it hunting tho but im used to it. Also some say it cant shoot longer slugs like some other big bores. I knew this before purchasing it. For the price you cant go wrong for a pellet shooter in .30 i plan on using for small to medium size game.
