Design of syntetic stock and grip. Overall Quality of product.
Things I would have changed:Adjustment of trigger pull.
What others should know:This airgun is heavy and loud. Fells like you are shooting a rimfire .22. Not a problem unless you are shooting in the back of your yard and have neighbours suceptible to this kind of sport. Also don't use Weaver bases for the scope without an adapter because it will tilt your scope to the sides a little. Dovetail 11mm or 22mm or buy the Dovetail to Weaver rail adapter if you are buying a scope that has Weaver or Picatinny mounting rings included.

This gun looks wicked, and has a nice solid feel. It is very accurate, (much more accurate than this shooter is). I'm a left-handed shooter, and was concerned that the pistol grip would not fit my left hand, but the folks at Pyramyd Air checked it, and said that wasn't a problem. They were correct, the fit is very comfortable. This gun has a lot of power, and hits like a sledge hammer, with very good accuracy. I have to agree with the other reviewers that I like the extra mag storage. Also like the adjustable stock, as it really helps setting eye relief for a scope. I've put about 600 rounds through the gun in just a few weeks, and am really enjoying getting back into shooting. This is my first PCP air rifle and I'm very pleased.
Things I would have changed:The bluing could be more uniform, there are faded machine marks that can be seen on the barrel, and on the air reservoir, but this is a very minor complaint given the overall quality of the gun.
What others should know:The cocking is stiff at the beginning, but loosens up as the bolt is used more and more. When cocking the gun, make sure the magazine indexes properly to position the next round. Occasionally it may hang, and you have to pull back the bolt a little harder to make sure it advances. This also seems to get better with use. If you're not sure a pellet was chambered, it's best to lock the bolt in the rear position, remove the magazine, and look into the breach. This will keep you from accidently loading two pellets. I know the manual says there is a feature that prevents this, but I'm not sure how it works. I purchased the Hatsan Air Stripper and it seems to diffuse the noise a little. This rifle is loud, and has about the same report as a .22 long rifle. Purchased the Hill Pump and am very satisfied with its performance. I need to exercise, and shooting the gun is my reward for using it.

I like the extra mag storage on the elite. I really like the adjustable butt stock.
Things I would have changed:It should come with the air stripper
What others should know:This gun is truly awesome with the air stripper, it tightens up the group dramatically. You simply must get the stripper if you buy his gun. I have shot 7 different types of ammo. H N pointed and beeman pointed were the absolute worse. JSB exact kings are the best other round nose pellets are OK not great. Once I had eair stripper in place i have been able to shoot 6 nine shot clips before refilling the gun that's 54 shots and at 50 yards the last shot was about two inches lower than the first fairly awesome. I went with an overkill 6000 psi tank and regulator set up added about 1200 dollars to my gun, but worth it if you plan on shooting a lot. I get about 275 fills after shooting 5 clips. A 3000 psi scuba tank you might get 3 fills.

Hatsan BT65 SB Elite Air Rifle, Black TH Stock I have several other PCP guns. Benjamin Discovery, Benjamin Marauder, AirForce Condor and Hammerli Pneuma Elite 10. They all perform excellently. All I can tell you is after trying PCP Airguns I shall never go back to Springers. I definitely can't tell you which one is more accurate. However this gun stands out. I got mine in .25 caliber and this was my best deal ever. I installed a Leapers 3-12x44 AO SWAT Accushot Rifle Scope, and went to zero it. First shot in the bull's eye. Not 1/8 of an inch to the right or left, not 1/8 an inch up or down but absolutely in the center of the bull's eye at 35 yards. I couldn't believe it, so I shot 5 more shots... All in the same hole. The hole was larger after 6 shots but not that much larger. Unbelievable. And, guys, what I love the most in any gun is accuracy. Accurate is this gun's first name. Ok, the scope was zeroed to the distance I like. The scope can be installed using Dovetail rings or Weaver. The trigger is adjustable but I didn't touch mine as it was perfect for me out of the box. This gun is also beautiful and Powerful. Then it has 3 additional Weaver accessory rails on the front of the stock where I installed a very nice bipod, a green powerful flashlight on the right and a red laser on the left zeroed for short distances like 12 yards. It came with a very nice sling, which is very convenient given the fact that this gun is already heavy, and with all those accessories I installed... well, you can imagine. You can carry 3 fully loaded magazines on the gun which is also very convenient and it's extremely fast to change them in the dark as you can easily feel where they are. This gun has lots of strong points but the most amazing is accuracy. Once you zero a good scope, if you fail it's your fault not the gun. This gun's last and middle name is accuracy. This is a powerhouse that sends .25 caliber pellets down the range screaming at more than 1.000 feet per second.
Things I would have changed:I wouldn't change a thing to this gun
What others should know:I don't hunt or shoot animals but I had to change that policy this year. I have chickens and ducks roaming free range around this little 2 acre fenced farm of mine. In the Spring I had 15 hens and 3 roosters and a few ducks. After 3 years of total absence of predator attacks this Spring and Summer there was a Locust year that happens every 17 years only. Around 25 billion cicadas came from the underground and start mating till the mid July. Every bird and lizard or any creature that eats insects must have had a gastronomic feast this year and my chickens and ducks were full and happy not even paying attention to the supplemental food I give them daily. And up the food chain everyone had a chance to raise many more puppies than ever given so much food available. (At least that's my theory)
When the cicadas were gone all those creatures needed to eat and my chickens were very available and fat. So from 15 hens and 3 roosters I see myself only with 2 hens and 2 roosters and from 5 ducks I have now 4 and one is blind with deep holes in her head and neck while the others are still recovering from very severe injuries. 16 baby chicks I bought from a hatchery house, to substitute the losses, vanished in one night and from them I could only find 3 headless bodies. And they were very well protected (or so I thought). I installed 2 motion activated alarms and only then I realized I was under siege. The alarms were sounding several times during the night sometimes simultaneously. Lots of raccoons were invading my property from several different directions. That's when my Hatsan BT65 SB Elite started to work and shining. In two weeks got 11 raccoons single shot to the head. The last one and number 12 needed 3 shots but I believe it was still a humane kill as it was performed in maybe 8 seconds. I'm sleep deprived and still tired to the bone but I can finally rest thanks to my Hatsan Elite. I believe that in this region the equilibrium between prey and predator was reestablished or is close to it thanks to the efficiency of my powerful gun. Sorry for this long story but I believe that others should know how good this beauty can be to get rid of pests.

Everything is beautiful i chose the BT65 elite 0.25 because is really powerful, powerful is my first PCP and is super accurate has not any recoil when you shoot the rifle, i check every part of the rifle to make sure every screw is tight and place i like the new stock design witch the 2 extra magazines
Things I would have changed:To the rifle Nothing is really Nice but the case come with it is to small if you install a high profile scope won't fit inside the case.
What others should know:Buy 1 you'll be happy with such beautiful piece of engineering from Hatsan

The trigger pull on this gun is as close to perfect as you can get for me straight out of the box You can shot a shotgun shell off of a fence post at 100 yards with the right pellet time after time. Very powerful very accurate and very deadly for medium and small game
Things I would have changed:Redesign the rotary clip holder on the bottom of the for stock, one side is to tight the other falls out. The bi-pod that came with the gun sucks waist of plastic. Install quieter shoulder strap mounts way to noisy thumb hole in the stock had a couple sharp edges easy fix but should have been done at the factory, the adjustable cheek peace looks padded but its not hard plastic feel cocking bolt is a little stiff nothing you cant live with
What others should know:A good scope the right ammo great hunting gun. It is not even close to being a backyard plinker, way to load for that. I bought this gun after reading and watching dozens of reviews on this gun I only felt miss lead buy a couple of things after receiving it the first thing I noticed was the fit and finish was not that great after fixing the sharp molding edges on the stock I then field tested it, I was lead to believe that the predator poly mag pellets would fit in this guns rotary clip and were fairly accurate but they don't when you properly seat these pellets the tip sticks to far out and drag around the breach deforming the tips causing them be very inaccurate other than that this gun is awesome not for young air gunners with out strict adult supervision

just got this in .25 cal on 4/24/13 and this gun is the best airgun i have ever shot. Accuracy is great!!touching holes at 60 yards using JSB exact kings. have shot 2 woodchucks already. one shot kills. will be selling all my break barrel airguns.
Things I would have changed:could not shoot polymags until i pulled red tip out, they still had great accuracy without tip. better bypod would be nice.
What others should know:bolt was stiff, but after third mag it starts getting easy to work. used hand pump to fill, and if i pump it back up after each mag. it only takes a few minutes to get back to 190 bars. you should get this gun if your looking at PSP

Pyramyds service was excellent. This was my first time using them and I am impressed. As for my new Hatsan BT65, WOW, awesome rifle. Beautiful looking, comfortable to hold. The stock is extremely comfortable. The value for your dollar in this rifle is unbelievable. The rifle is very accurate. If you are looking for a PCP but don't want to spend 1000.00 + take a look at the BT65.
Things I would have changed:Noise level, few neighbors thought I was shooting my AR I'm sure. Rifle definitely needs a scope to take advantage of its capabilities. The sling / hooks were kinda cheesy. Safety positioning takes a little getting used to.
What others should know:Can't say it enough a lot of rifle for your money. It's not a DayState or AirArms but WOW.

The look of course, the grip, the power, the ability to add many attachments, mounted 10-40x50mm scope without removing rear sights, very accurate, likes JSB 25.4gr pellets, the trigger can be adjusted down to almost a hair, almost no recoil.I'm very satisfied overall.
Things I would have changed:Pellet magazine does'nt like long pellets,I have 3 tins of pellets that I can't use.A redesigned magazine for longer pellets would be nice.Gun is loud, but I knew that when I purchased it.Not really an issue ,but you did ask.
What others should know:After 3 weeks and about 200 shots the cocking bolt now pops up and then down after each shot.I don't know the reason for this ,but I contacted Pyramyd Air support and after explaining the problem they said send it back and we will exchange it.They emailed a shipping label and said we will send you another one.Does'nt get any better than that.

Feels great in your hands. Its lite but not so much so that it feels cheap. The extra accessories rails are awesome also. I've only used at 20 yds are so but its pinpoint accurate. Squirrels do not stand a chance.
Things I would have changed:Make an elite bt65 w hardwoodstock. Offer replacement parts. Not that I need them but I'd feel alot better if they where atleast avail if i do.
What others should know:This gun is loud!!! Very loud. Becareful your neighbors do not mistake it for a real firearm and call the police.

Great price, well balanced, great groups at 50 yards and a unbelieved sweat trigger after tweeking.
Things I would have changed:Not real fond of the automatic saftey after every cocking cycle.I would rather put the saftey on myself as needed.
What others should know:Not ammo fussy, shoots great with crossman, jsb, etc.

Massive power! I have the .25 cal and it shoots trough 1 inch wood easily! 2900 psi is relatively easy pumped up compared to other pcp rifles. The gun feels solid and has an excellent build quality. I'm sure I'll enjoy it for many years. This is my first pcp rifle, no airgun I've fired before comes close to the bt65.
Things I would have changed:The case feels a bit flimsy. I can get mine in with the scope but it only has about half an inch clearance so its a bit risky, it's a shame it isn't just a bit higher in the middle. For an elite model, a few more accesoiries would be appreciated (like an airstripper, scope or bipod)
What others should know:The gun is loud for an airgun (nothing compared to a firearm though), but hearing protection seems a bit overrated.

Just received this .22 cal version and I immediately purchased a 9x50 scope w/rangefinder. I also purchased four differeent types of .22 pellets with varing weights. I like the balanced weight of 9 lbs and the extra speed loaders that come with it plus makes reloading quick & easy when you need the extra firepower. Tomorrow I sight in the rifle.
Things I would have changed:Nothing, this is an awesome looking weapon that I'm sure I will be proud to own.
What others should know:I'll get back on this with you later.

great gun powerful and it5 seems to be built really well. The stock is excellent you can adjust everything and tune it to your capability. I installed the air stripper it does seem to improve the grouping
Things I would have changed:shoulder strap mounts I would have them swivel. Other than that nothing else
What others should know:If you plane on putting a scope on it make sure you use high mount scope rings so your scope won't inter fear with the rear site. Beware it is heavy and does make some noise when shooting it.
