handsome gun, shoots penny sized groups at 20 yds.
Things I would have changed:Cocking effort is quite heavy
What others should know:Likes 18 gr AA and JSB. and Crossman HPs to a lesser extent do ok as well.

Once the scope is zeroed in, it shoots well. No issues with pests, no leaking, owned the rifle for one season, this is my second season. I can shoot two to three full 14 shot magazines with one tank of air, depends on the pellets. I use Exact Monsters and Exact Diabolos. Easy to maintain.
Things I would have changed:I don't know much about air rifles, this is only my second one, but if the overall weight could be reduced it would make the flashpup a fantastic gun. The wood does dent very easily.
What others should know:Just keep shooting, zero your scope. Some bumps do affect the scope, so zero it once every few weeks.

What others should know:It is hand pump friendly but cocking is vervHARD & quick shots are impossible!!
Accurate & quiet but not smooth!!!

Aesthetically, pleasing. the small cc tank makes hand pump topping off wonderful. I pre-charged with 100 bar from a bottle 1st time. Fairly light and well balanced with optic attached. the built in moderator is surprisingly quiet for this price point.so far ,I cannot complain about accuracy.
Things I would have changed:I don't know if this requires a change ; there is some clearance between the forearm and the air tank. If I hold the barrel and wiggle the forearm or the air tank....there is a rattle or wiggle that is audible. For the price and all the other pleasing qualities of this gun...I still cannot complain. I think I can shim the bottom of the tank with a strip or two of tape or felt to minimize that.
What others should know:I thought the trigger out of the box was pretty darn good. I haven't yet messed with it.
IMO this is a great little hunting rig. The shot count is adequate for that and yard pests...Not going the see 100 squirrels 'round here.

I pretty much like everything about this rifle, it's lightweight, compact, powerful, & accurate, looks great! Great rifle for the money.
Things I would have changed:I really like everything but the cocking is to far back to the cheek, makes for slower reload & back to focus on target, but it really does not bother me, it is a bull pup style, still loads of fun.
What others should know:Always buy the 10 for $10 service when you purchase a rifle. PA has great customer service, but the service is more than worth it.

Great light weight and compact rifle. Accurate with the right pellet. QE modulator makes it backyard friendly. The 2 stage adjustable trigger is easy to set. Just an all around fun plinking or pest control rifle.
Things I would have changed:Wish it had a built in regulator and a little bigger air reservoir for more shots between fills and swivel studs for a sling.
What others should know:Good buy. Been shooting this more than my powdered guns. Buy lots of different pellets to see what your gun likes. Then stock up on them cause you wont be able to put this thing down. Get the hatsan spark compressor with the 12 volt converter. Easier than a hand pump.

This is a great PCP rifle to get started with. Got it in 25 cal. Lightweight, about 6lbs. Well balanced and shoulders well. Has a built in moderator, suppressor to keep the noise level down. The 2 stage adjustable trigger is great. Set mine to about 2lbs. This is a very accurate bullpup with different pellets tested so far. Definitely would reccomend this for those starting out with their first PCP or just want a fun plinking or hunting rifle.
Things I would have changed:Swivel studs would be nice to attach a sling.
What others should know:Buy it. Good price. Great bullpup.

The QE shroud does keep this gun very backyard friendly. Very accurate with about every pellet put through it and I use a broad range of pellet styles and weights. A very light gun, after a day of walking the fields and small water-bodies closeby I didn't feel overly encumbered. It is very compact making for very few snags in taller brush and brambles that become a problem for longer guns as the season grows late. It shoulders very easily and the adjustable cheek comb allows me to get my cheek weld and be in the same firing position making a good sight picture attainable almost every time. Used it indoors, outdoors at a range, and outdoors for pest hunting and it performed as expected in all conditions. The adjustable trigger is better than average but would benefit from metal parts rather than composites. Having the manometer on the side keeps one from having to look down the barrel to check charge level. I give it 3 stars good, but not mind-blowing, and had a few niggles to address.
Things I would have changed:When I received the rifle everything appeared to be in proper working order. I double checked everything and made sure that there wasn't any incidental dirt, gave the barrel a quick clean, lightly oiled the moving parts and prepped it for use. Immediately upon trying to operate the bolt action it was extremely heavy, very gritty, and difficult to cock. When moving the bolt forward into the firing position it would stick and require more effort to get it to finally snap into place. It did this with every pellet I put in it. After some use it did loosen up a bit but overall it was pretty difficult to operate. Because of this difficulty I would happily carry a heavier gun because the overall encumbrance on the body compared to the fatigue in the arms, hands, and fingers from firing it repeatedly all day was far less. The back end of the shroud is open causing a puff of air to hit the shooter in the face. It's not forceful but is distracting. The mags fit poorly.
What others should know:It will gain no rave reviews for its fit and finish. Get a wrap or some of that camo tape to cover it because the finish of the wood is easily marred. Because of the angle at which the pic rail sits depending on your scope be prepared to shim it. It has some features that set it apart from an average PCP at an average mid-range price but nothing that puts it over the top. It's a mid-range PCP with a mid-range price and overall that's what you're going to get so I give it a middle of the pack score. It is not bad, it is good, it is not great.

Its an accurate air gun and looks great also.
Things I would have changed:Quality control is important when these are being assembled I did have a few what I would consider minor issues that I corrected after that I've enjoyed many a day shooting this pellet gun.
What others should know:Be aware you will probably have a few items to correct .

It was shipped to me from Pyramid Air very quickly.
Things I would have changed:This is the first Hatsan I have ever purchased. The cocking action is very coarse and difficult. Absence of a regulator makes group accuracy even at 10 yards very poor. I mounted a Nikon Monarch 3 on it but you could just as well put as $50.00 scope on it because of it's poor accuracy. The magazine is difficult to load and is sloppy to fit on the gun. Eye relief is difficult to achieve. I own an FX Impact, an FX Crown and an FWB air rifle and the quality of these guns is miles ahead of the Hatsan. I would gladly sell this gun for $50.00 less than I paid for it.
What others should know:Buy a better quality air rifle!

I got the Flash Wood QE .25 and liked it so well I thought Id try a Flashpup. I waited out the Erfurb waiting list, paid for it "its expensive" and reveived it Oct 27th. Its a leaking turd right from the box. Its no Refurb. They sent me someone elses defective return. The Compression Tube leaks PSI from the Exhaust Valve to the extremetity that it can not be pumped. The rifle came fully discharged and the barrel shroud was loose and free spinning. The Picatiiny Rail screws were surface rusted in place. This wa no refurb. Ironically their tech "Larry" signed off on it as though..... I bet Ive left 100 voicemails to their bunk Customer Service line and a plethora of online forms on their cover bunk website I ordered it from. DONT GET A HATSAN. Im gravely disappointed. I always favored them. It sits there in the floor now with an additional $100 + in it for all the bells and whistkes I ordered for it in anticipation of an operational warranty product. I GOT RIPPIED OFF!
Things I would have changed:First of all I wouldnt send out one that was defective junk let alone sell a customer somebody elses junk return. "Then" Id "If I knew then what I know now" deal with an outfit with a real Customer Service and Warranty. HatsanUSA however do not. No they have some college kid on a laptop doing their thing as a hobby or something. Not a respected reputable professional grade outfit as I was led to believe.
What others should know:I got ripped off because I trusted HatsanUSA.

this gun is accurate and very comfortable to shoot but dont believe the velocities its also quiet enough to backyard shoot
Things I would have changed:i am now on my 3rd gun and the first one was awesome and fast sending 34 gr jsb at 820 but part of the hammer catch broke and i sent it back pyramyd sent a new one because hatsan wouldnt get me the part 5 dollar part im guessing and i should have just made one. anyway the new ones have a complete ly different hammer and bolt assembly and the new one wouldnt even cock and was missing the spacer on the hammer spring so it shot at 550 fps with 18 gr jsbs so they sent me another one and at least i can cock it and it fires at 34s at around 700 now that i tuned it up but only get 1 clip out of it went to lighter pellets and have a good gun but nothing like the first one it was what gave it agood rep new ones have been a cheaper version, blame hatsan pyramyd did solid by me the whole way. so change it back the way it was !!!!
What others should know:its a very accurate gun and great for pesting pretty light and small quality is not what they were wish i had my old one back and i would just make the part that started the whole thing again guys at pyramyd did their part for sure

First, this is my first PCP so not an expert in comparing against other PCP guns. But, the build quality on the $400 gun seems to be very good so far. Gun is very solid and looks great. Purchased in 25 caliber and enjoy having the rotary mags for multiple shots, plus the magazine indexes so you know when you are out of pellets. Added a scope and it took about 20 shots to sight in at 70 feet. Was popping soda cans after about 10 minutes (don't sorry, recycled the empties). As others have mentioned, the bolt action is a little stiff but you get the routine down after a while.
Things I would have changed:Pressure gauge on gun is pretty small...but as long as you keep the needle in the green you have shots ready!
What others should know:I have been filling with a hand pump, and not a good quality one (sorry Pyramid, bought a cheap knock off). Does take some effort but easy enough to do for target practice. Also, paid the Pyramid $10-for-10 deal since some had posted about receiving dud units so it came tested and with chronograph results. I will do this for any gun over a few hundred dollars in the future.

I bought my "Pup" from PA, and once I got the scope zeroed in, we really started to have some fun. The cocking is a bit tough in the beginning but after 8-10 magazines worth, it gets easier. My other rifle is a Diana RWS 34, and I learned to shoot on that before using the "Pup". It put a squirrel down quite easily, I'm using Monster Diabolos from JSB, 13 grain, but the Pup will also shoot JSB Hades and pretty much anything. Mine's in the .177 caliber, but it's great for the backyard as well. Value for the money is wonderful. Fills fine with a hand pump, I use the Hill Pump, and it takes about 3-4 minutes to fill. Mine game with 14 round mags, so happy hunting.
Things I would have changed:Honestly for the price you're getting a lot. Lots of things can be adjusted or upgraded easily, plenty of tutorials on the web. One thing to note! The Turkish Walnut Wood dents very easily, I accidentally bumped it with another rifle on the table from where I was shooting from, and I think a blunt end dented the wood a bit. Nothing severe, but if you are rough with your rifles I recommend the Synthetic Pup.
What others should know:For the money, buy it, use it, and you'll love it.

It's a good light weight compact rifle with good balance . Easily can carry in the woods for hours . I'm getting around 1/2 -1 inch groups at 50yards with hunting .25 pellets. It's really quiet this is only my 3rd pcp . But I was amazed by it my benjamin .25 marauder and disco .22 are much louder than this .
Things I would have changed:I wish hatsan sent a 1 piece fill probe. Not a male fill probe and you buy the other half. I'm aware they are available just saying. I wish this had European side cocking lever . Instead bolt at the rear. I know it saves money but I'd paid extra for it on this gun .
What others should know:You can't beat the price . For what your getting. It's to me more a hunting pcp than target .but it's very accurate.
