Love everything about this gun. I own two both in .22 cal . All my airguns are .22 Liked this one so much bought second one but from someone else. It was a great deal other wise not. Also converted both to a Jet 2 . If I buy a Third one it will be a .177 cal . But probably not.
Things I would have changed:For the price point, nothing they work great!
What others should know:I put a DonnyFL Shogun suppressor on both of my Jets and love em. Even Buckrail works well. All my airguns have suppressors. TKO22 work on my other airguns too. Without one on The Jets, they are loud. Good Luck Have Fun Be Safe.

This is a fun carbine to shoot and not difficult to hand pump.
Things I would have changed:I would remove the fiber optic open sights for standard sights
What others should know:First hatsan jet 1 i received turned out being faulty.. it would not hold a zero with fliers all the time. Ended up it dumping all air in one shot from 230 bar as i was using it..

Love the compactibility of the pistol; .22 cal is easy to attain... anywhere; the sights are decent; much more power than a ton of .22 rifles... even my pcp Sig MCX Virtus! (though that's not saying much. Haha!)
Things I would have changed:Quality control. I received the Jet 1, and filled it up immediately; it subsequently emptied overnight. I tried to get PA to help me troubleshoot it because I hate being without my purchases for any amount of time (bad experiences over the years), but they wanted to RMA it immediately. That's great and all, but not always the go-to answer to everything.
What others should know:Hatsan was AWESOME with troubleshooting. They even sent a new fill valve, overnight, on their dime. It apparently had more than that going on because it still leaked (albeit slower), so Hatsan themselves wanted it back to take a look. Again, on their dime. I bit the bullet and RMA'd it because I exhausted the amount of effort I was willing to put into it at the time. I know some people have their horror stories with a manufacturer, but Hatsan has been excellent with me, and that's why I will keep supporting their products.

Accuracy, size of the magazine, reliable no jam shooting, compact with but stock installed, Nice trigger. Oh yes the price.
Things I would have changed:I can't think of anything a change, but a metal Picatinny rail would be better.
What others should know:I received mine in .177 caliber. I put on a moderator (1/2-20 UNF Suppressor .177 or .22 Caliber with Taper from Buck Rail). The moderator significantly reduced the sound of the shot. At about 40 feet with the Sig Sauer Romeo 5 Red Dot Sight, and on a rest, I shot nice 3/8 to 5/8 inch groups with both the H & N Baracuda Match 10.65g as well as the Gamo 632274054 Lethal Pellets .177 (5.56g synthetic pellet with copper plated "tip"). I didn't chronograph the H&N Baracuda Pellets but I got 950 ft./s using the 5.56 Green synthetic pallet from Gamo. I got about 50 shots out of the PCP tank until my air went down to 1000 psi from fully loaded at 3000 psi. Using my inexpensive compressor, it took less than a minute to top it off back to 3000 psi. This is a nice addition to my other PCP, the Benjamin Armada.

This is my second .25 cal. Jet 1, my grandson, couldn't wait to buy his own! I have an optima scope and green laser on mine and can put pellet on pellet at 30 yards. I'd say 35 yards and it starts dropping a little. I believe a humane kill with small game is possible within 30 yards with this gun. I exclusively target shoot and have had good success with JSB 33.95gr, Air Arms 25.4gr and FX 25.4gr. For high volume shooting, I use Benjamin 27.8 cal. I own 3 Hatsan rifles, the BullBoss, Vectis and the Invader, all .25 cal. The Jet 1 is starting to be my favorite for plinking. It is a bit loud, but I live in an area that it doesn't matter. I noticed an adapter in my purchase from Pyramyd for a suppressor. I also see that my magazine for the Invader and Vectis will fit on the Jet 1. I accidentally found this out when I had all the rifles out, loading the magazines. I have a 4 stage Hatsan hand pump, and it is easy to fill this gun. All in all this was a good 5 star purchase.
Things I would have changed:I was disappointed, some of my optics would not fit the optics rail. {11 mm dove tail}. Not a dealbreaker, my optima scope mounts worked.
What others should know:For the price, this is a good deal in my opinion.

Got the .25 cal and it’s just a nice little shooter put a pinty red dot on it and works great for close encounter shooten with a 0dB suppressor. Mine came with a 20 1/2 adapter with it to screw in I was really happy didn’t think they came with one.
Things I would have changed:Well just the cocking lever it works fine but wish it were made with some sort of metal but that’s it.
What others should know:It’s loud for sure.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PERFECT PCP PRODUCT. THAT BEING SAID MANY AIR ARMS COMPANIES STRIVE TO CONNECT ALL THE DOTS WHEN DESIGNING NEW PRODUCTS. HATSAN WAS NO EXCEPTION WHEN THEY INTRODUCED THE JET 1+ 2 AIR PISTOL CARBINE SERIES. THESE TWO PIECES ARE LIGHT WEIGHT, VERY ACCURATE, CAN BE CONVERTED TO A CARBINE, VERY EASY TO HANDLE, AND THEY ARE REASONABLY PRICED. REVIEW EITHER OF THESE TWO PRODUCTS, YOU WILL AGREE THAT HATSAN HAS CONNECTED ALMOST ALL OF THE DOTS WITH THIS DESIGN AND HAS A SHOT AT THAT TOP DOT.
Things I would have changed:I CANNOT THINK OF ANYTHING YET
What others should know:AIR GUNNERS : AN F. Y. I. THE JET 1 LIKES THE GAMO ROCKET .177 CAL. 9.6 GRAIN PELLETS AND THE WINDAGE ADJUSTMENT IS ON THE FRONT SITE.

A lot to like with this one folks. Great PCP pistol/carbine for under $300. Grip is very comfortable, easy to get a sight picture in carbine mode with the fully adjustable stock that also has an adjustable comb height. Versatile with a single shot tray or 7 shot magazine. Side lever action is nice and smooth. Considering this is a pistol, accuracy is on point even out at 20 yards. Very easy to fill with a hand pump since the cylinder is compact. Even with the small cylinder you will get wo full magazines at full power before it drops off. Also, you can buy extra cylinders, or even turn it into a jet 2 with the dual cylinders. So if you want to initially save some money, don't worry because you can turn this into a Jet 2 down the road. It also accepts a suppressor, which is good as this is plenty loud.
Things I would have changed:The only thing I would change is the box it comes in. It's very thin and cheap. It's not very useful for storage if you're like me and like to keep your boxes for storage. This gun was showcased in a nice Hatsan hardcase in promo reviews, but definitely doesn't come in one when you buy it.
What others should know:Ear protection. You will need it as this is about as loud as a 9mm. Without a suppressor this is NOT backyard friendly unless you have nice neighbors or a suppressor.

I have this in both .25 and .22. They are super light and compact! Includes built in iron sights for both pistol and carbine configurations, and they are very usable! Easy to switch from Carbine to pistol and back again. It has a foster fitting, NO FILL PROBE NEEDED!!!!
Things I would have changed:Accurcy and adjustability. Accuracy seems to drop off considerably beyond around 25 yards, but under that's it's quite respectable. There is no adjustment for the hammerspring or trigger, being able to tune it and adjust the trigger to be a bit lighter would make this an amazing little carbine!
What others should know:The Harsan Sortie magazines will work, so if you're looking for a larger capacity magazine, they are available. It does have both a picatinny and dovetail rail alone the top of the barrel shroud, however, behind the magazine well, it's only dovetail, so plan accordingly if you are going to mount a scope or red dot. Overall, it's a blast to shoot and very easy to carry around, but due to the small air volume, shot count is limited to about 2 magazines (12 sots in .25 & 14 shots in .22) Under 25 yards, accuracy is quite good, while pesting I have already taken a rat with it at 20 yards using the open sights!

Really cool looking light pistol that can be made into a carbine. Fun to shoot, it's pretty accurate, for the price it's a really good PCP gun. Can be filled with a hand pump really easily and you can get about 20 shots from it.
Things I would have changed:Bigger magazine
What others should know:The magazine for the Hatsan shorty fits in the net if you want a bigger magazine for it.

Jet 1 .22 cal, extremely accurate, 21 shots per fill. A very fun gun to shoot. Light weight. Just ordered another in .177
Things I would have changed:Mags are small and a bit hard to get a hold of and load.
What others should know:It will become one of your favorite shooters.

Bought one in .22 as the fpe on the .22 was just under the .25 which meant less expensive pellets. Like the fact it goes from a pistol to carbine easily. Sights are nice, even though I put a red dot on it. It is very light. Easy to fill.
Things I would have changed:I got the Donnyfl double end adapter so I could use my Sumo on it. Extending and threading the barrel would be nice. The pistol grip appears to have a cavity with a cap that snaps in. I haven't messed with it enough yet to take the cap off. If the space is useable for storage would be better to have a rubber cap that is easily removable.
What others should know:Gave it three star ratings for now. I do have an issue with filling it. I will fill it to 250 bar and when I bleed the fill line, the manometer on the gun shows that the pressure drops to about 200 bar. This seems to happen three out of four times when filling. I've emailed PA to see if they have a solution or if I need to return/exchange it. Accuracy is good for plinking and pest elimination out to at least 20 yds. I have not yet found the pellet it likes best. It is loud, but the suppressor makes it quite a bit quieter. However, the point of aim does change significantly with the suppressor on it. Once the fill issue is resolved I'll revisit this review.

My Hatsan Jet 1 arrived in good condition and has worked well so far. I like this new pcp pistol from Hatsan. It's a great pcp at a good price point compared to other market offerings. It runs circles around the P-ROD and is about the size of my Standard AP-16. The optional stock is a nice feature too. It's a keeper.
Things I would have changed:The fill probe, fill probe cover, plastic magazine and the top of the Barrel Shroud.
What others should know:Looks a lot like the Reximex RP but less expensive, more accessible, and more powerful. Functions as it should. The .25 cal smacks hard and produces some noise. Not too back yard friendly. The Fill probe requires a provided adapter.

Super light weight and compact! In .25 it makes 17 FPE with 19.91 gr. H&N FFT's and 18 FPE with 25.39 gr, JSB's! Ample knock down power for short range pesting. It has built in iron sites and comes with 2 magazines and a stock to convert it to a very nice carbine! It also have a really decent trigger right out of the box, and accuracy is sub 1" at 17 yards.
Things I would have changed:While the front site can be adjusted for windage, it's a tedious process, so it would have been great if the rear sites had a windage adjustment. Other than that, I'm really liking this new offering from Hatsan!
What others should know:It comes with 2 magazines, but in .25 they only hold 6 rounds per magazine. The Sortie magazine fits and works flawlessly and give you 10 rounds per magazine. Also, the iron sites are tall enough they can be used with the larger Sortie magazines!

I like the size I've only had it a week and a half and shot about 50 rounds through it at this point
Things I would have changed:Although I know it had a small shot count when I bought it that's the one thing I wish they could change without going to a bigger air tube
