The Hatsan Jet I Convertible PCP Pistol does more than the typical air pistol because it can transform into an air rifle with the help of the included synthetic stock. With lead pellet velocities up to 788 FPS in .177, 700 FPS in .22, and 608 FPS in .25, it delivers the performance and power needed for target practice, plinking, and even light pest control in the higher-caliber versions.
What makes this pellet pistol different than most is that it includes a removable stock that attaches to the top and bottom of the rear of the textured ergonomic pistol grip so it can be used as a light and maneuverable air pistol or a comfortable carbine-style air rifle with a stable hold and additional control.
The Hatsan Jet I comes with a 40cc air cylinder that fills to 3,625 PSI and yields an ample number of shots within 85% of peak velocity for an airgun of its power, with up to 24 shots in .177, 21 in .22, and 15 in .25. In addition, the removable magazine has 8, 7, or 6 rounds, so follow-up shots are both quick and plentiful.
For built-in sighting options for accuracy out of the box, this airgun has a flip-up fiber optic front sight and a flip-up fiber optic rear sight, as well as an additional flip-up sight in front of the magazine. It also has an 11mm dovetail optics rail along the top to enable adding optics including dot sights or a scope, and a side Picatinny accessory rail for items such as lasers and lights.

What extra connector do I need to buy to hook up to a Nomad Rovair compressor?
I've read some people that have bought a Hatsan Jet said their came with a suppressor adapter. Does the Hatsan Jet 1 sold here at PyramydAir come with the 1/2 x 20 male-to-male adapter or does it need to be purchased separately?
Current shipments of Jets have been coming with the adapter.
Will it kill a squirrel and is it loud/
Buck-Rail.com makes an excellent silencer for this air gun and it's inexpensive as well. It's the best silencer I found and I've compared quite a few. As to killing a squirrel, my Jet is in .177 and I would suggest that it's effective killing squirrels and the like add up to 25 yards and I recommend a headshot and the H&N Baracuda Hunter pellet.

I got the 10 for 10 and insured that my guys at PA got a good jet to my house first try.
Things I would have changed:Bigger mags, you can use the Barage mag and get 10 shots per mag but if it came with a 15 round mag it would be perfect.
What others should know:It's not the loudest air pistol out there, but if you use the adapter and put a donnyfl sumo on it you can hear the trigger mechanism click home. You just have to make sure the adapter and barrel are in line mine was of a tad so the pellets were clipping, I machined the adapter and after 10 shots over the Chrono my last shot was still moving well above Hatsan's advertised speed, in fact my first 5 shots were above 21 fpe. Don't fear the bad reviews get the 10 for 10 from PA and the guys will have you plinking cans or picking off small game if you pick the .25 cal... PA air rocks
