    Things I liked:

Well made as far as initial impressions go. Half a tin down and it's settling in nicely. Best shooting was with a modified weaver stance. It's big, and heavy, an Olympic stance didn't work as well.

    Things I would have changed:

More pressure in the ram. The cooking effort is pretty easy. Also the detent for barrel locking is harsh, a nice ball detent would be preferable, but keeping it cheaper is good too.

    What others should know:

The grip is a sled that the firing mechanism rides on. If you hold it in your hand it flops side to side a bit- BUT when shooting the sled is flat and no wobble. It does a very fine job of making recoil almost non existent. If I could post pictures I'd show you 10 pellets, half from this gun and half from an R7. You couldn't tell the difference. So it's hitting as hard as advertised.

    Things I liked:

    Rapid pellet delivery...with grand accuracy!

    Things I would have changed:

    What others should know:

Over all, I enjoy this machine...and 'cause my needs with it, do not exceed 40 yards, I shall not be mounting any sights other than the fiber optics that it has. However, one problem I did experience the second day I attempted to use it...it would NOT lock-shut...after loading. The silver steel, beveled, piston, that is just below the breech itself, (& which locks the barrel closed) was 'stuck solid in its' bore. It refused to rotate or (more importantly) slide down in its' housing...and against its' spring. Pell Oil did not help, but WD40 did...after allowing it to soak-down the bore. The manual does not advise oiling that piston. It should.

    Things I liked:

A very well made pistol with excellent fit and finish. The bluing is deep and the metal parts well finished. The rubber grips are well formed and fit the chassis exactly. A very nice feature is the adjustable front sight. This allows for compensation for any barrel droop or rise. The barrel extension with ventilation (air stripping?) is extremely needed in order to cock this thing. A nice feature is an O Ring to seal the extension to the threaded barrel and add a little bit of friction to help it stay tight.

    Things I would have changed:

The configuration of the front "blade." The optical tubing is round in cross-section and it is held in place by a round, molded "strap" (which is actually a singular molded piece with a hole for the optical tubing. I would form the optical tubing NOT as a circle (again, in cross section) but as a triangle with the apex up. The chassis, then, of the front "blade" would taper to the apex so that it would describe an arrow point. The purpose of this proposed change is to make the point of aim more precise. The round optical tube in the round fitting makes determination of the point of aim on a black bullseye very difficult.

    What others should know:

The Vortex Supercharger is very, very consistent and accurate save for the somewhat difficult front sight picture. The slight "wiggle" in the piece is irrelevant to its consistent accuracy. It is Magnitudes better than its competition from the Benjamin Trail gas ram pistol; indeed, THIS pistol is the one to purchase!

    Things I liked:

Received my M-25, Vortex powered, pistol today and sent 30 rounds down range in my basement near 10M range. Within 30 shots, I was able to stay in the black on the 10M rifle bulls that I routinely use for both pistol and rifle practice. This pistol is now capable of single hole groups and is extremely smooth in its firing cycle and the trigger is first-rate. My only negative is the stiffness of the break barrel action, particularly the locking cam - but this will loosen with time and use. This Hatsan has an adjustable front sight which is a very welcome addition. It can compensate for barrel droop. It is much better "down front" than its cousin, my Browning 800 Mag that lacks this feature. While I paid the premium for the rubber L hand grips, they are very comfortable, seem well molded and fit up perfectly on the pistol chassis.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much to quibble with. The dampening mechanism results in a slight perceptible movement in the piece, but it is not significant. Maybe slightly BIGGER phototubes/dots on the rear sight?

    What others should know:

This thing is BIG, especially with the cocking assist screwed on (that is very nicely given additional friction by virtue of an "O" ring). It requires a good deal of force to cock; like my M-135 .25 rifle, you have to want to cock this thing - weaklings need not apply. It would be nice if Hatsan came with ambi-grips. Fortunately, PA sold the L hand grips at a savings over the Hatsan website and I purchased this pistol and the grips. They are a nice rubber and provide some grip and comfort. Well done, Hatsan, well done.

    Things I liked:

The look, the power, the accuracy...

    Things I would have changed:

The press fittings in the front sights...a longer stem on the rear sight wheel...fix the slop in the handle to barrel connection...sell it with a tactical stock because it is too heavy to be a pistol...redisign weapon to handle power plant..

    What others should know:

First shot & rear sight popped off...After 68 shots, the powerplant began to rattle the rest of the parts off the weapon... It is NOT designed to handle its own guts...the vortex thing is nice but no redesign of weapon was considered & that is the downfall... I do not recommend this version of the model 25 until they beef it up... Returned & purchased an Air Force Talon SS

    Things I liked:

    Keeping it simple everything.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

End is threaded and the air stripper from hatsan for the pcp air guns fit and is strong enough to use as an extension.
