Instructions on adjustment of trigger pull and over-travel. References to one affecting the other are confusing.

Accuracy #1, Consistency #2, ability to fit (file and sandpaper is a must). This pistol has really helped with my trigger control and sight pattern.. When I go to larger calibers AKA: 357, 45 etc.. These tools are essential. Sight, close eyes, open...Where are you?

Since I have limited experience with air pistols, I selected this Pistol by the reviews and the accuracy numbers. the 47 reviews were right!

Excellent pistol. excellent trigger. excellent trigger adjustment. multiple sight blades and extra parts included. I have put about 500 shots down range and the gun just keeps getting better. Good balance, good sight line. Great pistol to get you in the game.

I do not know if I would change anything. This is a popular pistol at a great price and it shoots great.

This gun is not capable of top flight accuracy, but it is really close. It is easy to customize and easy to adjust. Easy cocking stroke.... it is a great gun. I consider this my starter pistol to get back into competitive shooting... so far it is great! And very fun to shoot. I pulled off the grip and used the dremel to sand it down and carve it to my hand...roughed it up a bit and restained and re-finished. It is great.

Fun to shoot, very accurate for the money, well balanced.

Needs a tad more velocity to cut targets cleanly even using 7gr. pistol pellets targets tend to tear, no problem with rifle velocities.

Very accurate. The grip is somewhat crude yet functional. Good value for the money.

Value for price is out of this world, fit and finish is excelent, accuracy is excelent. I would like to give this pistol a poor rating to keep the price low, but I can find no faults. As soon as I can raise the money I plan to buy 8 or 10 for a junior pistol program

I dont know if you can get this in a left hand version, if not that is the only change I would make

Right out of the box this is an awesome match pistol. As long as you are steady enough you will be making one hole in the target. Metal and wood this feels like a well constructed pistol. First shot was in the bull.

The grip needs some sanding and some putty, but that is why they made it a little big, this way it will fit like a glove.

This pistol is a little heavy. probably not the best for a kid, but awesome as an adult match pistol.

The Grips, they are a little tough to get used to. I have moulded them to suite me but still not quite there. I think there has to be a better way!

This is a Ten Meter target pistol. Around 33 feet. Anything after that is not practical.

Terrific accuracy. Expensive and inexpensive pellets shot equally well from a rest at 10m. I'm a beginner at bulls eye pistol, but by my 10th target I was keeping 10 pellets per target inside the 8 ring at 10m. The pistol's innate accuracy, light trigger and good ergonomics inspire confidence and foster good shooting. Grips large enough to allow customization to fit the hand. I expect scores to climb as I get more used to the discipline and customize the grips to fit my hand.

Instructions need to remind the beginner that once the charging lever is moved to the forward position the breech is unlocked, but then it needs to be manually raised to both cock the trigger spring allow the air piston to be charged. Pyramyd shipped the pistol in advance of the item showing in stock on the web page. There was no email notification of the shipment so its arrival yesterday was a very pleasant surprise.

High quality. Detail work. Very good design. Good sights. Light trigger. Adjustable grip.

Packaging. Some spare parts came loose in the box instead of being bagged.

Rge spare rear sight plate was unusable because one of the screw holes was not threaded. I mailed it back for correction or replacement. Every several hundred shots, the pistol fires itself when I push the breechblock down into place. This has happened three times so far.

Great trigger, accurate gun, easy pumping, the scope mounting rail fits perfectly and the red dot was mounted and ready to go. The case holds everything safely and firmly.

I opened the case at 7:30AM, fired three H&N Sport Finale Match Pistol pellets through the IZH 46M, adjusted the BSA red dot four clicks up and took off for my first Silhouette Air Pistol indoor practice match at 9AM. Everything worked perfectly. This is the most accurate gun I have ever shot. I ordered RWS R-10 match pellets, RWS Meisterkugeln pellets and the H&N finale match pellets with the gun expecting to test a couple to find the best pellet for the gun. I used the H&N first because of Paul Capello's video recommendation and that's all I needed. The H&N chrony'ed at 440 fps and gave me as much accuracy as I am capable. I practice shooting at dots about the size of a dime and the 5 MOA dot size on the BSA covers the target dot completely at 33 feet. As I get better with this gun I may consider a red dot with an adjustable dot size, say 2, 4, 6 MOA. The adjustable red dot brightness feature is great and I use the number 4 setting indoors. I fully expect to shoot a perfect score at a Silhouette Air Pistol match in the future with this set-up.

If there was anyway to give it 6 stars I would. This is a remarkable air pistol. I've had mine for almost a month now and have put about 3000 pellets throught it. I love the fact that the grips come oversized and rough cut to allow you to completely customize them to YOUR hand. A few hours with a dremmel tool with a sanding drum installed and the gun is completely transformed into a work of art that is truely one of a kind. The workmanship is flawless. Its extremely tight and should last my chilrens lifetime. My kids and I have really enjoyed adding this to our already extensive line up of air riffles. The Red Dot sight is easy to set up and has performed flawlessly as well. GREAT COMBO!!

I can't think of anything on the pistol I would change. Once you have the grip to your liking, it feels like an extension of your arm. The only negative thing I can say about it is that my scope mount had some tooling marks on it. It doesn't affect the performance of the pistol, but given the fit and finish with everything else I was a little surprised with the scrathces, However a couple of dobbs with a black sharpie marker and you never see them.

We have a 10 meter range in house and shoot an average of 1000 rounds a weekend. This was a great addition to our riffle lineup. This pistol likes heavy rounds such as the RWS R-10 match heavy or H&N final match rifle. The heavy pellets seem to be more stable in flight. All in all, you will enjoy this pistol.

A very high quality air gun for a low price. Easy to use, very accurate, and the grip comes overly large so you can fit it to your hand. Mine will be used for silhouette shooting with a red dot, and it is perfect in this role.

The trigger seems like it would be a little difficult to adjust, and it is a pretty complicated mechanism. The setting when I got the gun however seemed perfect to me, so I'll probably not have to change it.

I would pay the extra $10, and get the 10 for 10 Pyramyd offers. My first gun had a problem in the trgger mechanism, so I had to return it and wait for another. They shipped the second gun out 8 days after they received the first one back, so I had quite a wait. Pyramyd also said they would do the 10 for 10 on this gun before they shipped it, but I don't think it was done. The gun was still sealed in the box, and there were no chonograph results. I will continue to buy from Pyramyd however, because they are very friendly, knowledgable, and usually very prompt with shipping.

Great accuracy(find right brand of pellot first),adjustable grip,quality,and looks.

nothing.this will nail a yellow wire nut at 35 feet, free hand, every time.Trace fingers with pencil,sand with dremel sander..finish with 220 grit sand paper or finer.You now have a custom grip!

Buy alot of different brand ammo...keeping near the 7 gram weight;as this is not a powerfull gun.I also push the sleeve forward after a pellot is loaded (a plastic ram rod gently easing in pellot)and don't let it slam the locking mechanism.Then gently release sleeve.

Outstanding accuracy. This gun shoots better than I can. Trigger is truly match and one of the lightest I have ever shot. Cocking is easy. This has become one of my favorites

Grips are one size doesn't fit all, but if you like to dremel away you can modify them or you can buy 3rd party grips like I did.

The price for this air gun is cheap considering it can hold its own against FWBs and the like. Thinking of buying an extra one with red dot to practice for outdoor summer league where we use things like Ultra Dots.

Very accurate, great price, awesome looks and feel. Get one... you or you will be sorry.

I had a problem with the 1st 46M sent to me. Called Pyramyd Air and they provided me with a new one and returned bad unit at there cost. Now that is service with a capital S. Just love these guys...

Great Air Pistol. The grip is intended to be shaped by user. Plan on a wood rasp and other tools to customize shape for you. The sights are big and sharp and customizeable. There are three front blade widths and 4 rear sight widths. This is great for the perfect sight picture. Accuracy is better than I can hold. If I do my part it makes very tiny clusters or smae hole groups. Trigger is still stock and amazing out of the box. This is not like most russian weapon you have seen. Fit and Finish are excellent.

From the pictures the gun should be front heavy. It is not. I might add some weight to the front of the cocking lever to help my stabilization. Baikal should pay some air gun forum person $200 to write a better manual for them.

Comes with replacement seal and a multi tool screwdriver thing. I even get good accuracy out of crossman SSP lead free pellets. I use these indoors so I have no chance of a child getting a hold of a lead pellet.

I like designing , able of a gun , and easiness in the usability , I think , I will order in the future ,

This gun is so fun to shoot! It feels great in my hand, didn't cost me a fortune and it shoots better than my ability right now. It's great to have a gun you don't worry about taking out and pumping a few hundred rounds through! I'd imagine if I had a 2600 dollar PCP I wouldn't shoot it all the time because it'd be a "special" gun. This 46M is special without breaking the bank. Quiet enough that I can shoot in the house without bothering anybody. Accuracy is unbelievable! It really likes the H&N Match pistol, and H&N finale match pistol pellets. I can take 5 shots and wind up with a single hole while bag resting. :)

It would be great if the manual gave some information on how to file down the grips for your hand. This gun is really comfortable in my hand without any work, but now that I've been shooting it for a while I want it to be like a glove. :)

Make sure you go over the gun before you shoot it too much. It comes from the factory after being very beautifully built, but for the absolutely best performance out of it you'll want to go over things for piece of mind. After about 500 rounds I noticed that the rear sight had loosened up so I took some time to move the blade over and retighten the assembly. Make sure you buy a lot of pellets for this gun because it's fun, effortless and you won't want to stop shooting!
