    Things I liked:

Mostly metal and a good realistic weight.

    Things I would have changed:

Im not sure if its just me or the product, but even off saftey i cant pull the hammer back. I have to do a bunch of weid movements to pull the hammer back and the cylinder doesnt move unless you do something that isnt in the manual. The instructions have clear easy to follow steps, but they don't work.

    Things I liked:

The heft of the revolver and appearance are almost spot on. Action was perfect after a puff of powdered graphite onto the trigger and hammer pivots. It harks back to the quality and care put into these revolvers like those of the first Colt SA CO2 revolvers brought out by these folks a few years ago. The grips with inlaid medallions are beautiful in and of themselves.

    Things I would have changed:

The manufacturer could add some molded in screw heads on the ejector side of this fine revolver and ditch the 'molded in bumps' they have where screws would normally be. The hammer has a sprung pin so I would assume that they are working towards having it lay flat in the frame as a standard Colt SA hammer would.

    What others should know:

The round portion of the frame that the hammer falls through had a couple of minuscule burrs on my example. A minute with a fine touch diamond file had them removed without altering the appearance of the revolver. This is a fine airgun for the cash outlaid and as noted before, any fan of the 'Expendables' should have this close copy of Barney Ross' revolver. ;o)

    Things I liked:

Just a bit unique, nice size for a plinker ...if you like Western revolvers, a nice addition to your collection.

    Things I would have changed:

What is the deal about 3 sights? The sight adds an interesting visual element, but I can not see swapping them out. Grip scales are a little frail feeling.

    What others should know:

    A fun toy

The quality, heavy, functions like a real SA revolver

    Things I would have changed:

Mine came with three front sights...they are all the same. Doesn't bother me though as the one that was installed works fine.

    What others should know:

If you're looking at this, just buy it, you won't regret it.

    Things I liked:

great little six shooter. emptied 3 co2 cartridges with NO leaks. very happy with this gun. gets around 110 shots per co2 cartridge. accuracy is very good at 21 feet.

    Things I would have changed:

    wouldn't change anything.

    What others should know:

if you are buying this gun to fan the hammer, you might want to read the article by Tom Gaylord on the pyramid air sight. though the design is specific for that purpose, its not recommended that you do that. i like this gun and would recommended it. STILL WAITING FOR THE 4 3/4 INCH BARRELL PELLET VERSION.

    Things I liked:

Great copy of the Barney Ross "Expendables" gun. I removed the front sight for an authentic look. Fanning is easy with the modified hammer, and if you run your thumb across the hammer it's easy to cock manually. Can't wait for it to stop snowing & dry out so I can shoot it!

    Things I would have changed:

Get rid of the safety warnings on the ejector rod. Ruins the looks. Any gun savvy person already & should know proper safety rules!(If you don't, you have no business owning a gun!)

    What others should know:

If you're an "Expendables" fan, grab 1 of these!

    Things I liked:

Very nice! I own an actual 44 like this and it is as close as can be "almost" to the original. Accurate and fun to shoot, i purchased from big5 for this same price of $119 and it is worth it. My father absolutely loves it! I will be buying one from here on payday for him, big5- i got the last one and they are sold out.

    Things I would have changed:

I don't understand why they made the front sight blade removable, the three it comes with are all identical... makes no sense, should have made it like the real one.

    What others should know:

Get some extra cartridges aka bullets.

    Things I liked:

Saw this little beauty on the site before it was available, but just recently ordered it. Thought it would make a nice addition to my John Wayne Peacemaker and Remington collection. As with other UMAREX/Legend pieces, the quality and fit are first rate. Really like the unique hammer and ebony like grips. The weathered finish and the additional removable sights are nice bonuses at a reasonable price point. Also has that neat built in grip CO2 lug remover that the Peace makers have. It is full metal except for the sights and the grips, and has a nice heft and feel to it. Have not yet shot it, but will probably use Smart Shot bbs with it. I would expect accuracy should be similar to the Peace Maker models. It should be fun shooting at those little yellow silhouette animal targets.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. Even comes packaged in the usual UMAREX nice, vintage style box.

    What others should know:

Am looking for a shorter/cut down version of the Legend leather holsters available on site. Any suggestions would be appreciated..

    Things I liked:

Normally I would wait until I have run Chrony tests before submitting a review but I just received my Ace in the Hole today and after running a number of rounds through the pistol I had to drop a few words. Wow! Wow! and Wow! This is a fun peacemaker to use. Weight and balance are perfect and the accuracy is right in line with my 6 other peacemakers. Accuracy is between that of my SSA 7.5" Fort Smith Bicentennial and my 5.5" Peacemakers. Using a bench rest setup on my basement range, I was able to consistently keep in the black on a 4" target at 25 feet and scored a number in the 1" center quite often. Looking forward to running Chrony data soon and will update when I do. However, this Legends replica is just plain fun to use and twirl. I also found I could put that last bit of gas in the cyclinder to good use by fanning the Legend until the cartridge was empty. That was an added fun bonus.

    Things I would have changed:

There is not much I would change after my first use except the front removable site. I like to do accuracy shooting from a bench rest and find the front sight to be invaluable. Not sure why anyone would want to take it off of the Legend. I would buy another Legend with an integral fixed front site if it was available, ala Bat Masterson's excellent short Peacemaker. As one reviewer said, I am also not a great fan of the 'weathered look, so a nickel version would also be better, in my opinion. All else considered, I would not change anything.

    What others should know:

Aside from getting ready with lots of pellets, extra cartridges and gas cylinders, just be ready to not be able to put this Legend down. Using it is addictive. It is a perfect fit into the Peacemaker line. For a 3.5 inch barrel, this baby gives up nothing in accuracy to its 5.5" brothers. You will be surprised at the accuracy.

Weathered look, love the emblem in the grip, non intrusive warning markings, rounded hammer for fanning.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Great addition if you collect Colt SAA pistols. If your hands are small, rounded hammer might be a little awkward, I have big hands so it doesn't get in my way. It's a little bigger than you think it might be but I'm very happy with it overall.

    Things I liked:

I use several cartridge type SA airguns for quick draw practice and this pistol is ideal for that purpose. My test for accuracy at 20' was with a steadied two hand stance. I placed all six pellets in a ragged elongeted hole that measured just .75 " using the supplied "snap in" front sight. Quick draw fan cocking and fanning gave me consistent center mass hits on a NRA "Tombstone" target at 15' to 18', great fun! I did not find the rounded "fanning" hammer a problem for single shot cocking and found it very fast when used for rapid fanning. I measured the trigger pull at about 2 lbs. 4 oz. which is on a par with my other SA airguns. I did notice a slight creep to the trigger. The creep is so slight I can not say it affects my use of the pistol at all, especially when fanning. "Feel" is hard to define and is very subjective however this pistol feels solid and well balanced in the hand. Although 2 1/2 " shorter than a 5 1/2 " model it is only 1/2 oz lighter giving it a neutral balance.

    Things I would have changed:

I am not a great fan of the "weathered" look on any airgun but that is just me. I would love to see a "sheriff" model in chrome or blue.

    What others should know:

I matched this pistol with a DeSantis cross drawer holster Model 083/53 made for a Colt SA Sheriff model, it fits exactly.

    Things I liked:

As Michael stated in his review, this pistol is deadly accurate! However, it's designed for fanning, which is what I especially like about the gun. I toss hickory nuts and walnuts into my pond and "fan-shoot" at a distance of about 20-30 yards. I also love the longer grip, which allows all of my fingers to wrap around the butt. With my SA Army Colt I must rest my little finger beneath the butt.

    Things I would have changed:

Just leave it alone; it's perfect.

    What others should know:

I own many other pellet and BB pistols, and I gotta say this is my very favorite.

    Things I would have changed:

POA & POI needs to be addressed by UMAREX...I tried 4 different pellet weights from 7.0 to 7.9 Gr. and all shoot to the left.

    What others should know:

MEISTERKUGLEN PELLETS...GROUPS WERE 2.2 TO 4.2 INCHES...SHOOTS LEFT OF POA...SEVERAL FLIERS 6 ROUNDS OF 7.33 GR. JSB DIABOLO PELLETS...4.1 INCH GROUP...SHOOTS LEFT OF POA 6 ROUNDS OF 7.5 GR. CROSSMAN PREMIER SUPER MATCH...1.3 INCH GROUP...SHOOTS LEFT OF POA THE HEAVIER WEIGHT PELLETS HAD THE BEST GROUP BY FAR AND IF I HAD ADJUSTED MY POA TO ABOUT 3 O'CLOCK ON THE BLACK, I THINK ALL THE ROUNDS WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE 7-10 RINGS.

    Things I liked:

A fast handling , deadly accurate sa revolver. Thought the sights and hammer would be handicaps ,but not so. I shot this revolver against my 5 1/2 John Wayne 177 pellet at 25 feet wit h7.0 gr Meisterkugeln wadcutters. The groups were dead center from both and ,barely larger groups from the snubby.

    Things I would have changed:

Would like to see a Colt marked revolver with standard hammer , same barrel length with the same sights as used on the other Colt Peacemakers. Nickel finish, as well as polished blue, Same grips as the ACE but with Colt medallions as well as Colt medallion poly ivory grips

    What others should know:

If you like sa revolvers ,and love the Umarex Peacemakers ,grab one of these pronto like
