Just plain fun to shoot!

When you get this Luger, be prepared to do more shooting.

My 7 year old can hit every bottle at 20 ft. She loves it, yes, she! Looks so much like the real thing, both in looks and function. Really fun to shoot, no regrets.

If they had, use wood, or wood grain for the grips.

If it acts up bad, like jamming open, not wanting to fire. I even had to slam the slide shut.
Then i removed the slide, move the little slider mechanism over (left side), and fire.
What happened to me is 1 bb got stuck under the hammer. Now it's a champ again.
I get about 2 1/2 clips per cartridge
(50 ish shots).
Still, is a lot of fun. Worth every penny.

Everything for the price. Amazed at the accuracy. I am a horrible pistol shot, but this bb gun, I could shoot very well. Lugers fit my hand very well. Other pistols do not.

Nothing. Lots of gripes about black grips. My Dad's WWII bring back Luger had black Bakelite grips. Not the cheap wood ones. This looks very much like his.

I thought had to pull back on toggle to load bb to fire. Once clip is in with CO2, it will shoot if trigger pulled. Like a double action. I will pull trigger from now on, after clip removed, so have to toggle to set trigger if want to shoot. Always loved the original Luger sights. They are not the fat combat sights everyone seems to think they need these days. Fat sights always covered up my target. Lugers have fine sights not the fat ones.

YOU CAN GET STANDARD WOOD GRIPS AND A HOLSTER ON LINE FOR THE P08 . THE GUN IS MACHINED ALL METAL CONSTRUCTION .

I received this pistol and was immediately impressed with the weight and detail. It truly feels and looks like the real deal. I proceeded to load the item and to take some shots in my indoor range. The feeling of the blowback action when firing is amazing. After several shots to sight in I managed to empty the clip into a silver dollar sized grouping at a distance of thirty five feet. Amazing pistol. Get one you will love it!

Loading the clip is a bit tedious but well worth the trouble. I wish the grips were brown but I am going to hand paint mine

I was very impressed with the quality and looks of this pistol. Looks like a real Luger. I expected it to be made cheap but was pleasantly surprised at the machining that went into it.

Because of the blowback design, the number of shots per co2 cartridge is extremely reduced. If you get 50 shots per cartridge your doing well. After that you'll be lucky to be on target

This is the third P08 Blowback that I have ordered, and received. The weight, balance, function and "fun-factor" of this CO2 pistol all add up to make this my favorite BB target gun. The blowback toggle and accuracy really set this gun apart from everything else I have tried, or owned, over my long life (I'm in my 60's). The fit and finish of all the parts is also flawless.

The grips would look much better if they were "wood tone" rather than pure black. Maybe you could offer an optional grip set as an add-on purchase option. Of the three P08 pistols I bought, one was the special limited edition WWII model (only 500 made), and that one came with wood tone grips. Big improvement in the overall look of the Luger.

I had trouble with my first P08 after approximately 1000 rounds of fun. I made the mistake of using REM Oil to lubricate all the moving parts, and the petroleum based oil gummed up the works. The pistol started "double firing" every 5 or 10 shots. I talked to the Umarex technicians, and and found out that the REM oil could damage the various plastic and rubber components. So I carefully cleaned out the REM oil and used the RWS Air Chamber Lube and the problem is gone. Maybe this could be more clear in the ordering info.

Totally freaking awesome!!! Loud and I really like the blowback. Realistic as you can get with a CO2 shooter.

Someone please make wood handle grips for this.

I love this gun. I said it was loud but not too loud as to disturb the neighbors. I live in a condo and I've set up a shooting range in it and I've had no complaints so far. Wood grips would be really nice and someone could make a few dollars if they made them and sold them separately. Try this gun and I bet you will like it too.

The PO8 is as close as I will come to shooting a Luger. The feel, weight and appearance is as close to shooting the real pistol as you can get. Trigger pull is light and crisp and the length of trigger pull is great. The toggle action is smooth and remains open after the last shot which makes it as authentic as you get. Accuracy is very acceptable, it's within 1"-1.5" at 15' when firing for groups.

Make sure you have enough CO2 cartridges on hand because the pistol is fun to shoot.

Its a very well maid pistol, feels like a real weapon in the hand with the blow back action. It looks great on display.

This Pistol is in need of a redesign, The magazines will dump a full CO2 cartridge with one pull of the trigger and will even lock up the toggle action. uses to much CO2 when it was working...

This Pistol worked great for about 4 months then It started shooting burst fire and full automatic with both magazines. I Called UMAREX to have it repaired. They stated to me that this model is NON-repairable and only will be replaced for 30 days. So now I am stuck with a display item only. Do not waste your money on this item.

With the blowback action, this Luger is totally accurate and identical to the original firearm. I even like the black grips. Some owners have said that they would like to see wood grips or more likely at this price, plastic grips that look like wood, but I like the look and feel of these grips. I have done some research and the black grips they are very true to an actual Luger model called the "Black Widow", so the black grips are still very accurate to a scale look of an actual Luger. I also have the Colt SA, and when I got that gun, I thought that it was the ultimate scale replica of an iconic historical weapon, but this Luger definitely takes first place in that category.

I know the blowback action takes some of the C02 away from the FPS, but I have seen other blowbacks that manage to achieve a FPS greater than 300. I know this was done to maintain about 40 shots per C02, but I would like to see a FPS greater than 300. I would even sacrifice total number of shots per C02 to get a higher FPS. Loading 20 BB's in the clip is a little tedious, because the loading hole is not much bigger than a BB. I am still trying to find a way to speed up the loading process.

I read one review where the owner of this gun was complaining about the cost of extra clips, because he said that an extra clip would be handy when he used this gun for hunting. At a maximum of 300 FPS, this gun is totally unsuitable for hunting. Also, the smoothbore combined with BB's and fixed sights limits the accuracy of this weapon. I don't mind this in the least for this is not the purpose of this gun. I have many other guns that have a rifled barrels and use .177 or .22 cal pellets that are far more accurate than this gun. This gun was never intended to be a super accurate target gun. It clearly was designed to be the most accurate scale replica of one of history's most iconic and identifiable weapons.

This is a most awesome pistol the toggle action alone was incredible to watch function. The trigger was crisp and predictable. The blowback action limits you to three full mags but that's acceptable by me

Wood grips maybe. Real lugers have aluminum or wood buttons on the bottom of the mag other than that nothing

Toggle Blowback is cool, but does not make up for excessive gas consumption, poor accuracy, and cheap toy like appearance.

Grips are plastic and make the gun seem like a toy. Black paint finish is terrible.

Airgun Reporter video on this gun is total BS. Only reason I am keeping this gun is to antique it and use it as a display piece.

It has the action and heft of the real thing including working parts and assembly. The trigger is superb I couldn't love it better The magazine and gas chamber is the best design in gun making I have ever seen . And I own roughly 30 air guns. And it feels as though the power is more then 300 FPS For the action and accuracy , I am very impressed

Other than the fact it goes through CO2 fast , the fun factor over rides that aspect, it's almost addictive.

Id pay more if it came with wood grips.

I like the styling and attention to detail. The blow back feature is really authentic, especially when you fire the last round. After only 2 refills, I find that it is more accurate than my rifled pistols.

This is a really nice pistol. It fits well in the hand and can be speed loaded with a soda straw. I'm getting about 52 shots per Co2.

Wow What a Great WWII German Luger PO8 Replica. Looks and Shoots Like Real Thing. All Metal Except Grips and Super Quality. I Broke Mine Down and Used RWS Spring Airgun Oil on All Moving Parts and Then Reassembled It. It's a Blast to Shoot. I'm Retired Military and Was Stationed in Germany for 7 1/2 Years. I've always Wanted a 9mm German Luger But Never Was Able Find One in Great Condition For Sale. So Now I Have One of Each of the Legend PO8's Pistols. I Love Both of Them !!!

Nothing This Is a MAX HOME RUN In My Book !!!

SUPER ACCURATE and First 40 Shots have Excellent Power and After That You Need Watch The Blowback Action and Get Ready Change CO2 Cartridges. I've Read Using Some White Lithium Grease on Slides will Give You Extra 10 Shots But I Haven't Tried It ?!? I Like Stay With Crossman and RWS Airgun Oils to Protect All Seals In My Airguns.

I really like the feel and accuracy. this gun really is fun to shoot.

After several hundred rounds mine started to shot auto mod randomly of bursts of 3 to 5 rounds not sure why. maybe just wore out.
