Description
Umarex is the king of firearm lookalike pistols, and this P.08 is no exception. The realism is off the charts. The full-metal construction gives you the heft, look and feel of the real steel version. Instead of scrounging for pricey firearm ammo, you'll be shooting inexpensive steel BBs in your basement, garage or backyard.
While you can use this to maintain firearm proficiency, you'll want to shoot this because it's so much fun!
If you're a P.08 collector, you MUST add this to your collection. It won't be complete without it.
Steel BBs can ricochet. The shooter and everyone in the shooting area should wear safety glasses when a gun is being handled (even if it's unloaded). Remember to remove all pets from the area, as rebounding ammo can hit them, too. Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects (including metal targets) or water, as that increases the chance of ricochet.

Things I Would Have ChangedBeing a blowback, and am a airgunsmith, i understand it being a gas hog but wow, low shot count. Heck, co2 bulbs are cheap! (Compaired to powder burner ammo these days) Glad i reload!

What Others Should KnowThe blow back feature just like the original is very cool! The blow back feature does reduce the BB speed however.
The best replica of the Luger pistol in its authenticity I have ever seen. And it even shoots (albeit BBs). Very nicely done.
Things I Would Have ChangedOffer wood grips and change the mag base to brushed aluminum as per correct to the original article.

The toggle action is really cool and mimics the real gun I averaged about 40 shots per C02 cartridge using crossman C02 and Umarex steel BBs

Love the gun , has 20 shot capacity but only 30 round per CO2 Cartridge, so half way thru second loading the CO2 craps out , I now load 13 rounds and shoot two then change CO2. This is consistent with the what the printed operating manual states. quite a drawback for me , my Sig M17 pellet gives me + 60 rounds per CO2.

The P08 looks and feels like the real thing ( I know because I have owned the real thing), The blockback action is very realistic and gives it a bit of a kick when shooting. I found it to be reasonably accurate at short distances. This gun is great fun to shoot.

What Others Should KnowIf you decide to order this gun, make sure you buy the one with the blowback action (there is another cheaper model without blowback).

I own a real PO8, this is dead on, I purchased a set of real wood grips, on line. used a dremmel tool to open up back side to fit frame. a little work, but well worth it.
