Weight, realism, realistic action (eventually).
Things I would have changed:Personally, I'd like grips in other than black plastic. It would also have been nice if it had worked properly out of the box.
What others should know:Out of the box this air gun did not function at all. Lost all co2 in first 2 cartridges. By the third cartridge (with air gun oil on the tip) it was holding pressure. At this time, the action would not function. A liberal bath in air gun oil and repeated hand cycling corrected that. Now the air gun functions beautifully. Just like it should have out of the box.

Looks and feels like a standard P-08 Luger, so can practice shooting and sighting without putting more wear on an actual P-08. Although swapping with an actual Luger does raise eyes and awareness at the range.

It is what it is, for fun and not serious shooting. It is fun, it will go through a can at 30 feet. Feels good in the hand and the blowback is fun. Cartridges are easy to change, which is good because this eats more. I fill the mag short a few BBs, and get about 2 1/2 mags per cylinder.
Things I would have changed:The sights are not great, many here have modified them. Opening the back and using some paint would help. I'd narrow the front a bit. A little more plastic in the grips would go far in resisting the temptation to buy new grips.
What others should know:Use the oil. Don't force anything. Standard stuff, but this should be considered an entry level plinker.

The look and feel of the p08. Very accurate when shooting. I had a problem after about 100 or so rounds, the gun just stopped working. I sent it back to umarex for repair and the company sent me a new p08.

A nice looking pistol with a natural aim point. I have several pistols and this one has one of the best triggers I have experienced. Very accurate and it's easy to hit soda cans at 10 yards.

What others should know:I have read where others mention how much compressed air this uses. I get 45-50 shots per cartridge. Since they only cost about 50 cents it's no big deal especially when compared with the cost of firearm ammo. I would recommend this pistol to others. It's a lot of fun.

This product is a superior replica of the P08. The weight, blowback action, and quality of manufacturing is amazing and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend buying for yourself or for that person that appreciates a fine shooter.

Things I would have changed:A lock notch on the BB- slide, so you don't have to hold it open, while loading.
What others should know:Shoot at soft targets. To avoid ricocheted BB's. A cardboard box, paper plates etc.

I was very impressed when I received this item. I have an Original WWII carry home P08 which is a beautiful firearm. I choose not to use it, so when I saw this item I decided to purchase one. The look and feel, along with the weight, action, and quality is impressive. Honestly I do not know how they can offer this kind of quality at this price point. I am very happy with this purchase and I am confident you will be also!

I have not used it yet. I like the feel of the gun. I wish the instructions had more info on all the parts. I accidentally removed the barrel while I was fiddling with it. I had to down load a diagram to figure out how to reassemble the gun. I hope it works. Gun arrived really quickly. I actually bought 2 . I really like the legends series. I have the ppk, the glock and a British M712. I might buy some more. Will make great gifts.
