I got this for Cos-Play as Sherlock Holmes. Great replica! The look, feel, and action are superb. The magazine with the CO2 is a great idea and I like the quick change out with the second mag I bought.
Things I would have changed:I am surprised at the barrel attachment. It has only a single tiny set screw that is not easy to tighten down and so the barrel is a little loose. I will find a way to strengthen it perhaps with blue lock-tight.
What others should know:As stated by others, this will EAT CO2! But, it is worth every penny. I surprised my son and son-in-law with it. They just pulled the trigger and the look of shock and pleasure was all too clear. All they asked next was, "How much?".

This thing is just a blast to shoot on full-auto. It's hefty, so steady in the hand and controllable. In spite of the expense and sight problems, this pistol is too much fun to pass up. Major grin time!
Things I would have changed:At the expense of historical accuracy, the front sight needs to be taller. The magazine is a major pain to reload. This really takes the fun out of shooting full-auto. Needs a design change. Also, the spare magazines are way too spendy!
What others should know:Mine shoots nearly 2 feet high at 50 feet. The rear sight will not go any lower. At the rear-most position, the rear sight already sits so low you cannot see the front sight! Buy the extra (very expensive) magazines and loads of CO2. You'll need them.

Great repo of the 712. A fun gun to shoot in both SA and FA. Good quality construction, with a good heft.
Things I would have changed:Better barrel attachment to frame. Increase the fps with out FA loss.
What others should know:The magazine does take a bit of time to load. Better get a couple more.

Things I would have changed:Shoots really high even with rear sight lowered all the way. Eats CO2 like crazy, but worth it. Barrel set screw loosen up quickly.
What others should know:I would buy it again, have started looking at other replicas offered as well.

Solid metal construction. If there's plastic here I think it may only be on the handle…and the grip is very nice for a broom handle!
Things I would have changed:Larger,higher capacity magazine. 20 BBs goes in a heartbeat on full auto. A larger magazine would also hold TWO 12gm cartridges…this thing SUCKS CO2! Basically only two mag loads on full auto. Change the plastic cap for the CO2 cartridge to a metal piece with a folding tab on it…no reason to have to use/carry a 10mm allen wrench. Umarex could make a kit to change it out to a PCP with a larger magazine.
What others should know:Quite accurate out to 20 yards…BBs go where you point/aim.
And did I say it eats CO2 cartridges like candy?
Sounds like a 1000+ rpm cyclic rate of fire.
There doesn't seem to be an easy way to load this magazine other than one by one..you have to drop a BB in the side of the top of the mag and then push it in a couple mm and let it drop. 20BBs is tedious.

This is fun to shoot, the full auto is a blast
Things I would have changed:Have the blowback stay open on the last shot like the Lugar. Had some trouble with the magazine jamming
What others should know:Don't try to push the bb's back in the magazine with another bb, use your thumb nail after you lock the feed spring down. the bb will drop down with no problem. The 9mm stock and holster does not fit on this air gun.
