A blast to shoot in full-auto mode! Feels like a real gun, not plastic imitation. Fairly accurate at reasonable distances in semi-auto mode.
Things I would have changed:Ammo and propellant capacities (just not enough of either)! Iron sites need lower adjustments at closer ranges. Iron sites need side adjusters (my gun shoots left).
What others should know:Definitely a blast to shoot!
You will spend far more time loading than shooting this gun!
Expect to use a lot of CO2!
Additional magazines are a must!!!

All metal very heavy and stable. Full auto mode is an absolute Kik. Plan on buying a lot of CO2 if you're going to use in full auto.
Things I would have changed:Easier to load magazines.
What others should know:This machine pistol is a whole bunch of fun I'm pretty reasonably priced.

Looks and operates just fine. Full auto is fun.
Things I would have changed:Better quality. Stop firing after clip is empty, this is a huge waste of CO2. This I read is common with CO2 air pistols. Odd considering that similar air rifles from the same company stop firing after the clips are empty (i.e. Legends MP40).
What others should know:First thing you need to do out of the box is tighten the barrel shroud. Mine was loose out of the box. Since I tightened it I have not had any issues of it coming loose. Also, know the sounds it makes when it is firing BBs and when it is firing air. If you can do that you can prevent some waste of the CO2. However, full auto still goes through the CO2 pretty fast. I am only able to get two full magazines before the CO2 is empty.

Fun BB Pistol, once you work past the annoying quirks. It's well made, heavy all metal construction and looks like it will withstand a lot of shooting. Overall, this is a 'fun' toy if you want to experience 'Full Auto' shooting, as long as you understand it is inaccurate (6+" groups at 25') and has quirks. I own a couple BATFE, NFA Class III Firearms and several "Full Auto" BB/Pellet firearms. They're great "Fun" and this BB Pistol is no expectation but this pistol is probably the 'worst' as far as accuracy and wasting CO2, although it is also the least expensive. If you want to try the 'Full Auto' experience, this a decent starter BB pistol. Personally, for a few dollars more I'd suggest starting with the Crosman PFAM9B Full Auto .177 BB Pistol or the Umarex Beretta - M92 A1 which are more accurate. Also look at the RWS Beretta M92 A1 BB Pistol which holds 26 BB for about the same price.
Things I would have changed:Adjustable Sights. Not blowing off so much CO2. Something to indicate an 'empty' Magazine or Chamber to avoid wasting CO2. Better magazines that don't jam the follower at the bottom that causes 'failure to feed'.
What others should know:I'd give this pistol 5 Stars if it weren't for a the annoyances.
1) Do Not over load the magazine! Load Only 18 BB's. The mag follower in both mags tends to cant when pulled down for loading. You have to release it & make certain the follower is inserted in the channel to feed properly.
2) This pistol will fire (waste CO2) with no BB in the chamber. Including an empty mag. So count rounds, if you can in Full Auto. There's a different sound when it's firing a BB vs wasting CO2 down an empty barrel. This will shoot on an empty chamber in both semi & full auto.
3) My pistol shoots 'High' & 'Left'. These replica Mauser C96 sights are terrible. At 25 feet mine shoots about 5" high and 2" - 3" to the left from a bench rest in semi-auto - The sights are not adjustable like my real Mauser C96 pistol.
4) The CO2 cylinder seal doesn't hold CO2 well, even greased. I know CO2 firearms are Not designed to be left with the CO2 cylinder under pressure in a BB or pellet firearm. It was a test

I was surprised at how heavy and solid this gun is. Functions perfectly and is a real blast on automatic, although you will need a lot of CO2 if you shoot it that way.
Things I would have changed:Nothing really on the gun itself, but it would be nice if there was a holster/stock available from Umarex.

I bought this pistol for my WWII collection. It is the most visually striking pistol I have, and often get lots of notice from others. The fake wood handle is good enough to overcome my strong bias for real wood furniture. Markings on the gun such as "Waffenfabrik" add some nice detail and authenticity. Umarex has done well with their Legends line and this gun is no exception. Real blowback and hammer cycling are convincing. Love it.
Things I would have changed:Accuracy on my pistol is relatively poor, even in semi-auto. In fact, it's my least accurate pistol. But his gun is made to be shot in full auto just like the firearm it replicates. And although you won't be winning any 10-meter competitions, it's still a hoot. I do wish it was more accurate though. There is some perceptible barrel droop. I also worry a bit about the one screw that holds the barrel in, especially as it goes through more and more cycles on full auto. But I haven't had any problems with it yet. The finish is a very consistent grey paint/coating, even with the distressed "wear marks" that have been added. It is less convincing, relative to other replica gun finishes. I would prefer a little more modeling and irregularity in the finish to make it look older and more authentic.
What others should know:This gun has never jammed on me. Not once!
It's a great addition to any replica collection. If you're limited on space/budget, get the Legends P.08 first. That one is a more historically significant pistol from the same era, and the BB gun is a better shooter as well. But if you're expanding the collection, want a full auto pistol, or just something unique, this is a great add.
I would note that among BB pistols that shoot full auto (I also have a Beretta 92A1) this one was MEANT to shoot full auto in the real firearm. For me, I'm more likely to shoot this one that way as it seems a little more genuine.
There are replica stocks you might consider purchasing, and can attach via the handle lug. I do not have such a stock. But I'm thinking about it...

Nicely finished, has the heft of the real gun. The small touches like fake extractor, stripper clip guide, and cut out on the rear of the grip to accept a shoulder stock are cool. The grips could pass for wood until looked at closely. Overall, very realistic.
Things I would have changed:Increase magazine capacity. 18 BB's are gone way too fast.
What others should know:Mine shoots about 2" high at 10 yards with the rear sight all the way down. I get 2 mags or 36 shots out of a CO2 bulb. Not much. This gun is fun to shoot but you will spend more time reloading than you will shooting.

Much sturdier made than my previous Broomhandle. Shots high. Blowback action is fun and of course full auto is "rock and roll". Much heavier construction than my previous Broomhandle.

Look and feel are excellent. Operation of cocking, safety, trigger and magazine release are very good. It is probably worth having just as a display item whether you shoot it or not. There was no leak of CO2 when installing new cylinder.
Things I would have changed:Magazine is a big problem. The follower gets out of the track just about every time you load BB's and that causes the BB's to not feed correctly. The gun fires but nothing comes out. Even when you push the follower back in position the BB's often do not feed correctly and will not be properly positioned at the top of the magazine to be picked up by the bolt. I have a number of these Legend replicas and the M712 is the worst for loading and feeding BB's. Shooting at 20 feet the sights are not in harmony with the strike point. Rear sight needs to go lower. Filing a deeper grove in the rear sight might work. If you have big hands your finger could be squeezed between the hand grip and rear of the trigger guard. Not very comfortable. Probably is true to the original design so not a fault of this copy. Desperately needed is a magazine hold back tool so loading BB's is not such a pain. Offering holsters for all the Legend pistols should be considered.
