There are very few full-auto CO2 BB or pellet pistols. But this one IS! And, it's full metal.
Load it with CO2 and steel BBs, pull back the charging handle on the end of the bolt to cock the hammer and fire at will!
Replica airguns are a speciality of Umarex, and the Legends M712 just might be the paragon of all firearm lookalikes. There were several variations of this pistol (commonly called the "Broomhandle Mauser" because the grip looks like a broom handle), and this is a copy of the Schnellfeuer (German for fast or rapid fire) version of the pistol, which was produced from 1932 to 1936.
*The blowback on the M712 CO2 pistol functions the same as it does on the firearm. There's no slide. The only thing that moves is the bolt. The purpose of the bolt's movement is to cock the hammer (because this is a single-action pistol).

The weight and feel are great.Ive put 50+ c02s through it without any malfunction.
Things I would have changed:On the clip there is a plastic plug to tighten and crack the power let that cracks and renders the clip useless costing 45 bucks to get a new clip.They should offer a metal plug as an upgrade.
What others should know:A ball at full auto but very accurate in single action mode.Dont tighten the cor cracker plug too much or else you'll crack it and be left only to buy a new one.

Has the problem with the barrel shroud coming loose because of the very small locking screw been corrected on the present models? Putting LockTight glue on it is not a solution --it is a flaw in the design of an otherwise well designed air gun, It is the duty of the Umerex Company, to their customers, to update the design, correct this problem and make a good gun the best gun.it can be.
Is there a stock for this?
Yes, from india, on ebay, fast ship. Have trouble engaging lock, but slides on and fits inside. Gun is secure enough to fire, think a little fine tuning. Great gun, want extra mags. Btw stock won't fit gun with mag ,.thank designed for strip clip version.

Has anyone seen a quality reproduction stock holster combo for the M712 or has anyone been able to try one to see if its compatible?
Bought a few repro, they fit. Only issues some mauser have box mags, like this. Others fed from top. You might have to buy a mag holder too, and.femove.mave.to.fit holster, but you can get gun on a holster. This by far is one of my favorite BB guns. Makes a great carbine.
